Abstract

Language is an important aspect in communication activities. When communicating, the language used is not only spoken, but can also be written. When writing, whether writing for official activities, such as in teaching and learning activities at school or for informal activities, it is not uncommon for us to encounter language errors. These errors occur due to the writer's limited mastery of language and mistakes in writing a word or sentence. This research aims to correct errors in punctuation, letter writing, the affixation process, as well as to find out the results of analysis regarding forms of language errors at the phonological and morphological levels on the August 2023 edition of the Kabar Priangan Tasikmalaya news site. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research show that of the 4 news texts, there were 20 errors, including: 14 or 70% errors at the phonological level and 6 or 30% errors at the morphological level.

Abstract

This research aims to describe one of the Indonesian language interference found in the TRANS7 OFFICIAL YouTube Video entitled Tasting the mainstay menu of Warung Ayah ROjak. In this research the author examines the forms of language errors in the video. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The type of research technique used is the observe and observe method. The report data was taken from a conversation in one of the TRANS7 OFFICIAL YouTube video shows. The results of the interference research found in the video were that there were five phonological interferences, four morphological interferences and four syntactic interferences. Interference can occur due to the speech habits of the mother's language or dialect (Betawi language) that Ayu Ting-Ting uses in Indonesian. Judging from Ayu Ting-Ting's background, these habits occurred because Ayu Ting-Ting was born and raised in Depok (an area that uses the Betawi language) so the Betawi language is very embedded so that the Betawi dialect is carried over when Ayu Ting-Ting speaks in Indonesian.
