Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a high earthquake rate, that's because Indonesia is geographically located. So that in the development of the construction world, materials are needed that can minimize damage due to earthquakes. One indicator of a material that is able to withstand earthquake forces is its light weight but is able to withstand earthquake forces. The existence of styrofoam as waste can be used as an additional material for making materials because it has a light weight. Styrofoam is a material that is not easily decomposed by nature and the manufacture of styrofoam as a hazardous waste is the 5th largest in the world. The purpose of the study was to determine the compressive strength of concrete bricks with the addition of styrofoam. This study added styrofoam waste as a substitute for fine aggregate with a percentage of 0%, 20%, 40% and 60%. The test object was made the size of a brick, namely 23cm x 11cm x 5cm. The results of the study show that the greater the addition of styrofoam as a substitute for fine aggregate, the weight of the concrete brick is reduced and the greater the percentage of the addition of styrofoam causes the compressive strength of the concrete brick to decrease for a percentage of 60% of the concrete brick entering class 100 requirements based on SNI 15-2094-2000 with a minimum average strength of 100 kg/cm2. Abstract

Hotel is a public facility where one of the elements that determine the image of the tourism product. Fire building is a problem that arises in a large city that is dense, so that the safety factor becomes very important. Therefore, the technical requirements of the building in the face of fire is very necessary as the reliability of the building, in addition to providing evacuation time and the arrival of the fire truck. This study aims to identify the readiness of building hotels in the face of a fire hazard. This study used a descriptive observational method, in which the research is a parameter measuring instrument reliability assessment of the fire protection of the three literature. Reliability assessment of fire protection can know the percentage of the total value of the sum of the percentage of component reliability owned fire protection. The results showed the condition of the reliability of buildings in the city of Bandung in less degree, do not fit at all or is at a dangerous level of fire safety. In improving the readiness of needed improvement, both on the part of building owners, building users, and government to reduce the risk of fire hazards. Abstract

Landslides are natural disasters around the world. Factors such as slope material, rainfall intensity-duration, earthquake, infiltration, and seepage influence the slope stability because of the decrease in resistance forces or the increase of driving force. This research method uses C-RHA columns to improve slope stability as slope strengthening. C-RHA mortar was made of cement, sand and microsilica from fine rice husk ash (RHA). The effect of C-RHA columns on slope stability simulated by a series of centrifuge modeling tests which were conducted at the Experimental Center of Civil Engineering, National Central University. The slope is prepared by moist tamping method at optimum water content about 12% with a mixture material consist of 20% of fine content (kaolinite) and 80% of quartz sand. The C-RHA columns were penetrated perpendicular to the slope surface. During the test, the acceleration was gradually increased and recorded until the slope collapsed. The test results indicate that slopes Test C-0, Test C-4, Test C-9 and Test C-16 fail at 50, 48, 55, and 65 g, respectively. The first tension cracks of Test C-0, Test C-4, Test C-9 and Test C-16 occur at 40, 40, 45, and 55 g, with the depth and distance from crest of slope are 0.328h and 0.324h, 0.273h and 0.300h, 0.350h and 0.327h, and 0.155h and 0.557h, respectively, where h is the slope height. Then, the second cracks appear at 45, 43, 49 and 65 g, respectively to cause the slope failure. From the side view of slope, the decreasing number of C-RHA column spacing will decrease the depletion mass of slope. The depletions mass normalized by the volume of theoretical planar failure wedge with failure angle of θ=(β+∅)/2 are 67.0 %, 64.5%, 59.3% and 48.6%, respectively. Abstract

Cianjur is a district in West Java Province, Indonesia. The capital city is located in the Cianjur district. Cianjur has a district form of government led by a regent and his staff and agencies. There are several duties and obligations of the government, one of which is to provide equitable public services for the community, but what has happened in Cianjur is the lack of distribution of public services, especially for residents of South Cianjur, because of the distance from the current government office location. Based on the problems that occurred, there are several objectives of the construction of this office complex, the first aims to provide equitable public services for all residents of Cianjur, with the relocation of the Cianjur government office to the Campaka District making the location quite strategic and easy to reach because it is in the middle Cianjur Regency. Another goal is to unite all Cianjur offices in the same office complex, so that people who want to take care of their interests can be more effective because they don't have to move from office to office. In the construction of this office complex, using architectural concepts that highlight the traditional values and culture of Cianjur with the theme Venturi Architecture. Venturi architecture itself is an architectural concept that emphasizes traditional and cultural values. After going through a maximum planning process with the concept of Venturi Architecture, we got an office design that is closely related to the traditional values and culture of Cianjur. Abstract

The large number of people and their activities have an impact on increasing the need for shelter, the need for land for residence is even less so because of the vertical housing development. indispensable, but the construction of vertical housing can cause problems, one of which can cause Global Warming or global warming, therefore the design of the apartment must be aware also to protect the environment, the purpose of this study is to find out how necessary the construction of apartments with the green building concept approach and with the theme of green nature and using descriptive, documentative, comparative methods, with the design of apartments with the concept of green building so that the construction of vertical housing or apartment can solve the problem of residential needs in the City Bekasi, can accommodate many dwellings in a narrow area, and also by designing the concept of green building apartments that also take care of the environment around him and can also reduce the effects of global warming, his conclusion The need for residential housing in the area of Bekasi City is increasing but the land for housing is also getting smaller and therefore vertical housing development is really needed for the Bekasi City area. In designing a building with the concept of green building we must meet several variable requirements, namely appropriate land use, energy efficiency and conservation, water use efficiency, material source & cycle, indoor air quality & air comfort, building environmental management. Abstract

The competitive globalization era demands the availability of quality natural resources. The development of Science and Technology grow so fast in line with the international competition. Nowadays, the prediction of infrastructure coonstruction acceleration in Majalengka District will increase the growth of the industrial sector with international standard facilities. This phenomenon demands adaptation of local people to increase their human resources qualities whose smart in order to master the science and technology, to compete in internatonal scale, to absorb in industrial sector, and to empower in social economic. Therefore, the education condition in Majalengka District must be fixed soon because the strengthening in education sector will determine the growth of the area. One of the effort is to organize the boarding school applied school Satuan Pendidikan Kerja Sama (SPK) system to realize the smart people, compete in internatonal scale, and able to answer the worries which is caused by background diversity, culture, religion, sociall status, economic, origin, and negative influence of the other globalilzation. According to the phenomena, so, the planning of majalengka’s bilingual boarding school as school Satuan Pendidikan Kerja Sama (SPK) in Majalengka District must be organized. As for approach of Eco-Tech Architecture concept on this planning is one of the effort to support commitment on Indonesia’s sustainable development to particapate at global world and to implement the environmentally friendly development in Majalengka District. Abstract

As a country with the most Muslims in Indonesia and even in the world, it is not surprising that Indonesia has many centers of Islamic education. Even in the midst of this globalization era, Islamic education has never lost interest. The development is even more visible with the number of Islamic boarding schools increasing in number of devotees. Modern Islamic boarding schools are a combination of the curriculum of Islamic boarding schools with the national education curriculum. Islamic boarding schools which are also a form of educational forum in Indonesia should have graduation standards that also follow the development of education according to the national and even international education curriculum. Bekasi Regency is one of the largest industrial cities in Indonesia and is geographically close to the capital city, but the quality of education in Bekasi is still not good. According to the Bekasi Education observer, Tengku Imam Kobul Moh Yahya (2019). The purpose of planning for Islamic boarding schools is to improve adequate facilities to improve the quality of Islamic education, especially in Bekasi Regency. In this plan, the concept describes the education system in the pesantren that will be built, namely a modern Islamic boarding school but does not leave the traditional values of the pesantren. Neo- Vernacular architecture itself is a blend of modern architectural styles with traditional architectural styles. Abstract

Bekasi City is the 4th largest city by population in Indonesia. With its location closest to Jakarta, Bekasi City seems to be the main gate to enter Jakarta from the east which is rapidly growing with business and industry. This has implications for the economic growth of Bekasi City which is better than other areas around Jakarta. Bekasi City is also an industrial and business city, as evidenced by the presence of various national and international giant companies. Various strategic plans have also been presented and continue to be developed in Bekasi City. These various strategic plans have stimulated the private sector and the state to compete to invest in Bekasi City. In line with the rapid economic growth of Bekasi City as well as the development of new infrastructure and transportation which in the end was able to attract investors to invest their capital. This has an impact on the increasing demand for office space with a strategic location and various ease of access in it. Furthermore, in running the business wheel of a company, it is deemed necessary to have a centralized place/area where carrying out business activities can be carried out easily and efficiently. Presenting an ideal office space with a different architectural concept is needed to be able to provide maximum results for the company & comfort for all employees. Abstract

Pangandaran Beach is designated as one of the National Tourism Strategic Areas namely KSPN Pangandaran with an emphasis on the theme of tourism development based on local wisdom of local culture. In the current condition in Pangandaran dwellings In all Pangandaran destinations, the resort accommodation accommodation facilities are only 2 units, namely the beautiful resort and blue sea resorts, the decline in the image of tourist attractions due to the mushrooming of unfit residential places along the coast of Pangandaran, the absence of residential resorts that have complete facilities and infrastructure. Therefore a resort resort with a neo vernacular concept approach is needed to bring Sundanese culture that has complete facilities. While the translation analysis is done descriptively based on local existing conditions. So that it can produce neo vernacular building concepts that combine modern and traditional concepts that reflect Pangandaran culture. the concept used is the Sundanese architecture approach which applies Sundanese philosophical concepts in the form of the middle syneger, glass, uga, pamali and weak cai. Based on the observation that the resort area which is very suitable to be built is located in Wonoharjo Village, Pangandaran District, Pangandaran Regency, West Java Province. This location was chosen with consideration of the views directly overlooking the beach to the south and also located in the tourism center of Pangandaran Regency. Abstract

The development of world technology is growing rapidly, as well as technological developments in Indonesia. Currently, technology dominates various fields and one of the fields that is heavily affected by technological developments is the world of cinema. The city of Bandung is a city that has a strong historical value with the development of films in Indonesia, starting from 1920 where the premiere of the film was played by indigenous people and aired in the city of Bandung, precisely in the elite cinema which had become the most popular cinema in its mass. In addition, the city of Bandung still requires additional recreational facilities, especially cinemas in each zone of its territory. The identity of Bandung City as the largest Art Deco City in the world is slowly starting to be forgotten along with the popularity of buildings with modern concepts. The planning of this building is expected to reawaken public awareness of the importance of preserving cultural heritage in the city of Bandung and become a building that can revive the film industry that is able to compete globally. Based on some background that became the basis for consideration required additional recreational facilities specifically in the field of film in the city of Bandung. The planning theme for this Bandung Cinema Center is Art Deco Architecture with an Approach to Utilization of Cultural Heritage Areas as a form of building style. So that later it is hoped that the Bandung Cinema Center building will produce an iconic building and can revive the feel of the city of Bandung as the city with the largest number of Art Deco buildings in the world.
