Abstract

The accumulation of garbage and indiscriminate disposal of waste in open areas will cause soil pollution which has an impact on groundwater channels. To reduce waste independently, Sukunan Hamlet carries out several processing processes including waste banks, household-scale composting and communal, glass waste treatment, styrofoam waste treatment, charcoal briquettes, plastic waste crafts, livestock manure biogas, communal scale wastewater treatment installations. This study aims to determine the process of processing domestic waste into compost in the village of Sukunan with the type of method used in this study, namely descriptive, by providing a clear description with the main focus being to reveal a problem and situation as it is the data collected consists of primary data and primary data. secondary. Waste management in Sukunan Village is well managed and structured, one of which is processing organic waste which is made into compost so that the waste can be useful for the surrounding community. Abstract

Styrofoam waste often causes problems in the environment because this material is difficult to undergo biological decomposition and is difficult to recycle so it is not in demand by scavengers. Besides having a negative effect on health, styrofoam is also not environmentally friendly, because it cannot be decomposed by nature, styrofoam will just accumulate and pollute the environment. Utilization of styrofoam waste has basically received attention for quite a long time, including making bricks from styrofoam with a very simple technique. In the manufacture of styrofoam gets a larger portion compared to other raw materials, explained as follows 50% styrofoam, 40% sand, and 10% cement. The use of styrofoam can save 50% of the need for sand compared to the use of bricks. Styrofoam raw material is also superior to cement because Styrofoam contains a lot of fiber. Abstract

The research began with plant acclimatization, continued with RFT testing, and core research, as well as laboratory testing of wastewater quality before and before the process. Then an analysis was carried out based on the results of laboratory tests. This research uses pump circulation for two reactors, namely aeration reactor and phytoremediation reactor and the detention time of wastewater in the reactor is 7 days. From the results of the study, it was found that the combination of aeration and phytoremediation technology showed a TSS parameter removal efficiency level of 79.56% or a decrease of 18.3mg/L, a COD parameter of 67.87% or a decrease of 169mg/L and a decrease in BOD parameter of 51mg/L. with an effectiveness of 68%. Abstract

Water pollution that occurs in the Cikarang Baru Housing is currently showing serious symptoms and must be treated immediately, because the river in the Cikarang Baru housing produces an unpleasant odor and has a black appearance. The cause of pollution does not only come from domestic or household waste but industrial waste. How to remove BOD and COD pollutant parameters in Domestic waste using Multi Soil Layering (MSL) in Cikarang. To determine the effect of the MSL method with decreasing BOD and COD. The Multi Soil Layering method is one of the wastewater treatment methods that utilizes soil as the main medium by enhancing it through a structure formed in a construction in the form of a layer of soil mixed with organic matter, carbon and other materials such as iron powder with a layer of rock (zeolite, perlite, and gravel) in the form of a stone arrangement. The highest pollutant removal for COD, BOD, and pH parameters was obtained at HLR 500 l/m2. days with the highest percentage of allowance of 70%. The results of the final waste concentration test in the treatment using MSL show that the variation of HLR greatly influences the removal of pollutant parameters in domestic waste. Domestic Waste Elimination with the MSL Method is able to treat domestic waste by decomposing organic substances BOD and COD simultaneously, is also capable of accepting high hydraulic loading rates (HLR) and absorption. Abstract

One of the current waste problems is waste generation. Population growth results increasing in various kinds of activitiy, therefore waste management is required. North Bekasi was a district located in Bekasi City, the population on 2021 is ± 337,013 people. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the condition of waste management system and plan more effective and efficient waste management in the District of North Bekasi. The method used to project waste generation in the coming year is estimated according to population growth in 2011~2021 with the guidance of SNI No. SNI 19-2454-2002. Total waste generation in North Bekasi District in 2021 is 338,276,7988 m3/year and 60% transported. The plan is accumulated for the next 20 years by determining the process of collecting in 2 categories of organic and inorganic waste, transportation by trucks with a capacity of 20m2 with 9 trucks as much as 2 times in the village. Abstract

Landfills contain materials that can be taken for recycling or used as an energy source. The purpose of this study was to characterize waste that has long been buried in the landfill which includes composition analysis, proximate analysis, and ultimate analysis. Then the waste is analyzed for its use as recycled material and an energy source. The research was conducted at the Bantargebang TPST. Sampling was carried out on waste that had been buried in landfills by digging at a depth of up to 5 m using an excavator. The samples were then dried in the sun, sieved through a rotary screen, and sorted manually. Some samples were taken by the quartering method for later analysis in the laboratory. The results of the research and analysis show that (i) TPST excavated waste is dominated by compostable materials (31%) and plastic combustible materials (32%) and non-plastic combustibles (26%); (ii) -shaped material such as compost has potential as a substitute for soil cover for landfill and as a soil conditioner; (iii) potentially recyclable materials such as plastic waste need intensive sorting and cleaning; (iv) TPST excavated waste has the potential to be used as an energy source or RDF (refuse-derifed fuels) with a calorific value between 7.31 MJ/kg; (v) TPST excavated waste has the potential to be used as fuel for PLTSa incinerators; (vi) the utilization of TPST excavated waste for the cement industry still faces several obstacles, such as the high chlorine content and water content. Abstract

Evonik Indonesia is a company located in the Jababeka 1 Industrial Estate which focuses its activities on the manufacture of chemicals, especially hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). PT. Evonik Indonesia in addition to producing H2O2 also produces waste or waste. One of the wastes produced is liquid waste containing H2O2, organic substances and dissolved solids. In order for the liquid waste produced to meet the quality standards that have been set, it is necessary to treat the liquid waste. Waste treatment is carried out physically and chemically with the aim of neutralizing acid and alkaline waste, assisting the sludge separation process, separating dissolved solids, reducing oil concentration, increasing flotation and sedimentation efficiency and oxidizing colors and toxic substances. The method used in this research is an observational survey with a descriptive approach where the results of the observations state that the results of waste treatment at PT. Abstract

Sewage Sludge Treatment Plant has an important role in the treatment of sewage waste to reduce the burden of pollutants, especially fecal coliforms in sewage waste. Sewage Sludge Treatment Plant is part of a local on site system or a decentralized system, where this system is widely used in Indonesia. The important role of the Sewage Sludge Treatment Plant is the reason for the need for a study of the Sewage Sludge Treatment Plant so that the performance of the Sewage Sludge Treatment Plant can run optimally and achieve processing goals. This study aims to determine the quality of the processed Sewage Sludge Treatment Plant at Balai Pialam Yogyakarta. The method used is a descriptive method of collecting data at the Sewage Sludge Treatment Plant at the Balai Pialam which is located on Jalan Bantul KM ​​8, Sewon District, Bantul Regency. The data collected is data regarding the processing and quality of treated water from Sewage Sludge Treatment Plant. Furthermore, it is carried out because the analysis with wastewater quality standards for Communal Domestic WWTP activities, Communal Feces WWTP based on DIY Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2016. The results of water testing processed by Sewage Sludge Treatment Plant, show that treated water from Sewage Sludge Treatment Plant cannot be discharged directly into water bodies of total content coliform which is still high with a figure of 2,400,000 MPN/100 mL while for the requirements it is only allowed to be 10,000 MPN/100 mL. So that there is a need for further processing at the WWTP. After the advanced treatment process at the WWTP is carried out, the total coliform is reduced to <1.8 MPN/100 mL and can meet the requirements of the wastewater quality standard so that it is safe to be discharged into the environment. Abstract

A manufacturing company is a company that carries out a production process to produce a product. The company was founded with the purpose of making a profit or profit, to achieve profit, need to take steps to maximize equipment/machinery so that efficiency increases, quality improvement so that it has a positive impact on customer satisfaction. Product quality and engine efficiency/OEE have a relationship, if product quality is low, it results in low OEE. To determine the performance of a machine in an injection company, it is necessary to measure the OEE value. The results of the analysis show that OEE has not yet reached the target. The most influential factors are the low availability value due to dandori process, material change, mould repair, and damage to the robot that requires long repair time. Improvements were made not only on availability, but to maintain and improve, improvements were made to the OEE component, namely the performance and Quality ratio. The improvement results show a reduction in availability time, a decrease in silver defects in the quality ratio and an increase in performance with improved cycle time. Abstract

In the production process there is still a lot of damage suffered on the machine, one of which is the production target that was not achieved due to the defective product. In the production process, one of the machines in the printing industry is the HD Speed ​​Master’s machine which often has problems, the HD Speed ​​Master’s machine used in the production process serves as a paper printing machine. A common problem with this machine is the high frequency of damage, so that the printing paper suffers from defects such as blurred ink, skewed process results, torn paper and there are parts that are not printed so as to interfere with production process. The purpose of this study was to identify the effectiveness of HD Speed ​​Master’s machine using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) approach. Based on the analysis conducted on the HD Speed ​​Master’s machine, the result from the OEE calculation is 81%. Does not meet the company's standard of 85%. The low OEE value is due to the large amount of downtime that occurs in the machine, so the machine does not work effectively and efficiently.
