Abstract

The registration system for prospective members of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) makes the registration process which is often held every period of time more effective and provides facilities to students who want to register themselves into the Student Activity Unit (UKM) organization that they are interested in in terms of completeness of information and coverage of information dissemination announcements when Open Recruitment is held in each UKM. With this website application also helps many organizations save their energy from material and also their time in designing an Open Recruitment that is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The purpose of this research is to design a registration system for prospective new members of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) around the campus of the State Islamic University Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, so that students who want to register themselves into an organization on campus, namely UKM, can get all the information they need starting from registration information, schedule announcements, requirements, and much more in the hope of connecting the many UKM with students on campus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan pengembangan dan implementasi sistem aplikasi mobile pelaporan masalah yang dirancang untuk memudahkan pengguna melaporkan gangguan dan insiden. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan aplikasi pelaporan masalah, sistem pelaporan gangguan, dan aplikasi mobile pengaduan masalah menjadi satu solusi komprehensif. Aplikasi mobile ini memberikan pengguna kemampuan untuk dengan cepat melaporkan masalah, mengunggah informasi terkait, dan menghubungkannya dengan tim yang bertanggung jawab untuk menangani masalah. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi mobile, pelapor kejadian dapat memberikan laporan secara real-time, memungkinkan tim dukungan untuk merespons lebih cepat. Sistem ini juga memungkinkan evaluasi dan dokumentasi yang efisien terhadap hasil tindakan korektif yang diambil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam penanganan gangguan dan insiden, serta penggunaan data pelaporan masalah untuk analisis dan perbaikan sistem yang berkelanjutan. Sistem aplikasi mobile ini berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi dan kepuasan pengguna melalui respons yang lebih cepat dan solusi yang lebih akurat terhadap masalah yang dilaporkan. Abstract

Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Rao Utara menyelenggarakan kegiatan dengan tujuan memberikan informasi yang akurat, tepat waktu, relevan dan komprehensif. Sayangnya, terdapat beberapa kesenjangan dalam penyediaan informasi ini. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya sosialisasi mengenai sekolah kepada masyarakat, keterlambatan pelaporan hasil seleksi calon siswa karena proses seleksi yang masih dilakukan secara manual, serta kurangnya komunikasi dengan orang tua siswa informasi tentang hasil belajar siswa. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan sistem informasi akademik berbasis web yang dapat menyempurnakan sistem yang sudah ada dan memenuhi kebutuhan informasi sekolah dan orang tua. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, langkah-langkah yang dilakukan antara lain analisis sistem dengan menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML). Sedangkan perancangan dan implementasi sistem informasi akademik SDN 1 Rao Utara menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, database MySQL dan aplikasi Apache Web Server, pengembangan sistem informasi menggunakan metode original sample. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi yang sangat berguna untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada orang tua tentang hasil pendaftaran, hasil akademik siswa dan jadwal pelajaran siswa di sekolah.

Abstract

This research discusses the development and implementation of a "Web-Based Pharmacy Information System" which aims to improve the efficiency of customer service and drug inventory management. By using web technology, PHP programming language, and MySQL database, this system allows pharmacies to monitor drug stocks in real-time, manage patient information, and provide integrated services. The use of PHP and MySQL in developing this application allows the automation of administrative tasks, including drug stock tracking, orders, and patient data management. This system also facilitates customer service with easy access to drug information and online drug ordering services. The research results show that the implementation of the Web-Based Pharmacy Information System has succeeded in increasing pharmacy efficiency, reducing drug stock shortages, and improving customer service. This system supports integrated drug management by integrating patient data, drug stock and customer service in one platform. Overall, this system illustrates how the use of web, PHP, and MySQL technologies can optimize customer service and medication inventory management in the pharmacy context, providing major benefits to pharmacies and patients.

Abstract

The development of a web-based ornamental fish sales and breeding system is an innovative step to improve operational efficiency and achieve business sustainability. In the context of the ornamental fish business, a web-based platform provides significant advantages, allowing business owners to reach global markets more effectively. The integration of information technology in the sales system not only improves product affordability, but also simplifies transactions and inventory monitoring. In addition, this article discusses the application of monitoring technology for ornamental fish farming, using sensors and automated measurement systems to monitor water quality, temperature, and other environmental parameters. With the development of an integrated web-based system, this article aims to contribute to the development of a sustainable ornamental fish business that is responsive to modern market demands.

Abstract

This paper probes into the multifaceted issues surrounding violence against women and challenges to girls' education in Liberia. Coomaraswamy's 2002 research underscored the role of cultural behaviors in family structures contributing significantly to violence against women. King and Winthrop's 2015 study explored factors such as poverty, gender norms, and cultural expectations, contributing to discussions on fair educational opportunities. Cunningham et al.'s 2023 research delved into gender disparities across economic, educational, healthcare, and political spheres, employing a women's empowerment perspective. Theoretical frameworks rooted in gender and social norm theories were employed to understand the impact of cultural identity on preschool girls' education in Liberia. The study focused on evaluating negative effects on preschool girls in Bong, Lofa, and Nimba counties, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions to create a supportive environment. Coomaraswamy's 2002 insistence on rejecting the use of cultural considerations to justify violence against girls resonates globally. The study also highlighted disparities in girls' primary school enrollment rates in the region compared to the global average, emphasizing the urgency of addressing educational inequalities. Overall, this paper contributes valuable insights for policymakers, educators, and communities, advocating for positive change in Liberia's educational landscape and women's empowerment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas V SDN 0420 Aer Bale dengan menerapkan metode resitasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 0420 Aer Bale tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 23 orang siswa. Berdasarkan data hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas guru dari siklus I sebesar 3,235 menjadi 3,56 pada siklus II. Beradasarkan hasil tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang diberikan kepada siswa diperoleh jumlah siswa yang tuntas pada observasi awal sebanyak 4 orang, siklus I sebanyak 15 orang, dan siklus II sebanyak 19 dari 23 orang siswa. Sedangkan persentase ketuntasan klasikal pada pra penelitian sebesar 26,08%, siklus I sebesar 65,12%, dan siklus II sebesar 82,21%. Penigkatan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 56,13% yaitu dari 26,08% menjadi 82,21%. Selain itu, setiap indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa mengalami peningkatan. Indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang paling baik adalah indikator membuat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode resitasi dapat meningkatkan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas V SDN 0420 Aer Bale Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran peer lessons dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa di kelas X TKJ SMK Al-fajar Sibuhuan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Proses penelitian ini dalaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang sebelumnya sudah dilaksanakan observasi awal. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan yang meliputi tahapan yaitu : 1) Perencanaan, 2) Tindakan dan Observasi, 3) Refleksi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah terlihat adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran peer lessons, hal ini terlihat dari hasil persentase ketuntasan siswa dari observasi awal sampai siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan siswa pada siklus I lebih besar dari observasi awal yaitu 55,56% - 23,34% = 32,22%, kemudian persentase ketuntasan siswa pada siklus II lebih besar dari siklus I yaitu 81,49% - 55,56% = 25,93%, sedangkan persentase ketuntasan siswa pada siklus II lebih besar dari Persentase ketuntasan siswa pada observasi awal yaitu 81,49% - 23,34% = 58,15%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran peer lessons dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.

Abstract

This research and development was based on problems that occurred at SMA PP.Dr.M.Natsir Alahan Panjang where students' lack of interest in learning in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character and the learning carried out was less varied, making students bored and less active so they were distracted by other things. Learning videos can be an alternative in solving problems at school. This research aims to determine the level of validity and practicality of learning videos using the Capcut application.This type of research is development research using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The resulting learning video media using the Capcut application has been tested as valid with a percentage of media design experts of 94,3% (very valid), and tested practically with a practicality test by teachers with a percentage of 87,2% ( very practical) and the student response test percentage was 87,8% (very practical). From these results it was concluded that the learning video using Capcut was valid and practical so that trials could be carried out on the resulting product.

Abstract

The best teachers must be present in Timor-Leste schools in order to guarantee high standards of education. Therefore, this study was conducted to understand the factors that influence teachers to achieve better educators. In this work, the exploratory sequential design is used together with mixed techniques. In the first phase, a request was made that only teachers who had won prizes should respond to the semi-structure interview which provided specific qualitative accounts of their experiences and feelings. Narrative analysis method was employed to analyse the data. May it be in terms of content or method, the study discovered through qualitative analysis that quantitative data was then obtained in the second phase to find out more of the specific components, which the instructors consider as influential for them to become better educators. Teachers at primary school in Baucau about 40 were requested to fill questionnaires that comprised most of the quantitative part of the study. The study results of the narrative analysis supported the notion that motivation, experience, surroundings, and culture influences teacher development. Additionally, the results of the correlation analysis supported the hypothesis that there is a higher convergence between performance, environment, motivation, and sociocultural factors and teachers' achievement as educators, as well as a higher correlation between teachers' achievement and factors related to professional experience.
