Abstract

The current development of information technology, especially social media, offers benefits for business people to improve their marketing. The craft business in Indonesia is one of the creative industry sectors that is in great demand by business people because of its broad target market and increasing market demand. Gift box is an art and craft designed to give gifts to others by giving an interesting and unique impression. In the current era of globalization where gift box sales promotion can be done through social media. One of the social media that is currently trending among millennial youth is TikTok. This research was conducted to create a digital marketing strategy for the TikTok application to increase sales of the gift box aesthegift business. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using data collection methods, which use interviews/documentation and literature studies to obtain information and data. The purpose of this research is to find out how the strategy for creating digital marketing content on the TikTok application is right for increasing sales in the gift box aesthegift business.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the business internal and external environments of Liebe Co and to identify the innovation potentials of the company. The data of this qualitative descriptive research was acquired from three methods; they are interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the Porter’s five forces analysis indicate that the threat for Liebe Co comes from newcomers and substitute products. Then, the innovation canvas suggests that there are three innovation potentials that can be implemented by Liebe Co; they are product innovation, marketing innovation, and technological innovation.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of job stress and cyberloafing industry on the performance of Kawi Branch Office of Bank Rakyat Indonesia in Malang. This explanatory research explains the relationship between variables. Using saturated sampling, 82 members of the population were selected as the sample. The data was harvested from Likert-scaled questionnaires and was analyzed using multiple linear regression and descriptive statistics analysis in IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. This study finds that (1) job stress and cyberloafing influence employee performance, (2) job stress affects employee performance, and (3) cyberloafing behavior influences employee performance. Therefore, this research suggests organizations to consider the balance between work load and time limit for employees and to make regulations regarding the use of computer and internet belonging to the organizations in order to enhance employee performance.

Abstract

The escalating environmental problems has become a real threat for human, economic growth, and the environment itself. The sustainability of a business shall not be prioritized to profit only; it must also be achieved for environmental and social wellbeing as well as for dynamic changes. Green entrepreneurial orientation is a concept that carries strategic measures for environmentally-friendly business and sustainable business performance improvement. Further, green entrepreneurial orientation and green innovation are crucial concepts that must be applied by micro, small, and medium-sized entrepreneurs, particularly since MSMEs have more freedom and flexibility in innovation compared to larger companies. This research aims to analyze the effects of green entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of tempe chips business in Sanan of Malang City through the mediation of green innovation. The respondents of this explanatory research are 42 owners of MSMEs that are members of Sanan Tempe Chips Industrial Center Association in Malang City. The research instruments were assessed using validity and reliability tests, and the data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares. This study finds that green entrepreneurial orientation affects firm performance, that green innovation influences firm performance, and that green innovation mediates the influence of green entrepreneurial orientation on firm performance.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the effect of product innovation & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the corporate image of PT Goto Gojek Tokopedia Tbk. The respondents of this quantitative case study are 100 university students. The data was harvested from Likert-scaled questionnaires & was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis indicate that product innovation (X1) & Corporate Social Responsibility (X2) simultaneously have positive & significant effects on corporate image (Y) as the F statistics is greater than the F table with 49.760>3.09, & the F significance value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 (5%). The results of the t test show that the t statistics is greater than the t table with 4781>1.90, or the sig. t (0.000) is smaller than the α value (0.05). This means that Corporate social responsibility (X2) positively & significantly affects corporate image (Y). The result of the t test for product innovation is that the t statistics is greater than the t table with 5.341>1.90, or the sig. t (0.000) is smaller than the α value (0.05). This means that product innovation (X1) positively & significantly influences corporate image (Y).

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the effects of communication mix, social media marketing, and advertising on the brand awareness of Suburbia Coffee’s target customers. This research is categorized as explanatory research, a study conducted through presenting the positions of variables being studied and the relationship between them. The number of samples used in this study were 100 respondents. The data was harvested through questionnaires and was processed in SPSS version 26. This research finds that social media marketing and advertising simultaneously have positive and significant effect on the brand awareness of Suburbia Coffee’s prospective customers. Further, partial wise, social media marketing produces a significant effect on the awareness toward Suburbia Coffee, while the effect of advertising is significant and dominant.

Abstract

Employee performance is one of the key factor for companies to attain their goals. Therefore, they make efforts to improve it, giving reward and punishment to name one, but the expected improvement is not optimal. The objective of this research is to identify the effect of reward and punishment on the performance of the employees of Bank Sinarmas Syariah in East Java. Through this quantitative research, explanations regarding the influence of the independent variables on the dependent one shall be provided. The data of this study was harvested from Likert-scaled questionnaires distributed to the bank’s employees. The population of this research is the employees of Bank Sinarmas Syariah in Malang, Surabaya, and Kediri. Using saturated sampling, 60 people were selected as the respondents. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis performed in SPSS have led to findings that both reward and punishment partially have positive and significant impact on employee performance. Therefore, Bank Sinarmas Syariah in East Java should apply the reward and punishment system fairly and objectively so that their impacts on employee performance are stronger.

Abstract

Batu is a city located in East Java, Indonesia. This city is located fifteen kilometers northwest of Malang and about ninety kilometers southwest of Surabaya. Batu is famous as an agricultural area in East Java that produce flowers, apples, and vegetables. According to the Statistics Indonesia of Batu City, the agricultural products of the city reached 2996 tons in 2021, and the consumption of its citizens was higher, i.e., 22,845 tons. These figures indicate gaps in the food resilience of the city, which encourage efforts to enhance the said resilience. Using the data acquired from interviews, observations, and documentations, this descriptive research conducted qualitative analysis using case study approach and finds that agriculture in Bati City is more advanced than its horticultural agriculture, thanks to the existing technological advancement. Gaps were found in the production of non-horticultural crops, i.e., rice. In the overall, innovation and technology in Batu City is highly developed. Therefore, this research recommends the development of sustainable innovation and technology, the reinforcement of institutional roles, and the preservation and creation of policies regarding price stability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and job satisfaction on performance in employees of the Kediri District Trade Office. The variables of this study are work motivation (X1), job satisfaction (X2) and employee performance (Y). This study used a quantitative method using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, literature and questionnaires. While the analysis used is the validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t test and f test and the coefficient of determination. Sampling in this study used a saturated sample with the consideration of all employees of the Kediri Regency Trade Office, totaling 57 employees based on the results of the research conducted. The results of this study indicate that partially work motivation influences employee performance and partially job satisfaction influences employee performance. This study also shows the results that simultaneously work motivation and job satisfaction affect employee performance.

Abstract

This research was based on the phenomenon of decreased employee performance at the Hanna Sejahtera Oil Palm Plantation. Intense competition among those engaged in oil palm plantations requires companies to maintain sustainability through employee performance. The purpose of writing this research is to determine the effect of transformational leadership and the work environment on employee performance (a study on Hanna Sejahtera's oil palm plantations). This type of research is explanatory with a quantitative approach. The population of this research is all employees in the research project totaling 300 people. Respondents in this study were taken by random sampling method and amounted to 75 respondents as a sample based on Slovin calculations. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis which has previously been carried out by instrument testing and classical assumption tests. Hypothesis testing is done by using an analysis tool F test and t test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence of Transformational Leadership and the Work Environment on Employee Performance both simultaneously and partially. This research implies that transformational leadership and a well-implemented work environment can improve employee performance at the Hanna Sejahtera Riau Oil Palm Plantation Company.
