Jambura Arena Perngabdian (JARDIAN, P-ISSN: 3025-3209, E-ISSN: 3024-9759) is a peer-reviewed journal published by Physical Education, Healt and Recreation Program, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. JARDIAN provides open access to the principle that research published in this journal is freely available to the public to support the exchange of knowledge globally. JARDIAN published two-issue articles per year namely June and December. JARDIAN provides a place for academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish scientific articles. Each text sent to JARDIAN editor is reviewed by peer review. Starting from Vol. 1 No. 1 (June 2023), all manuscripts sent to the JARDIAN editor are accepted in Bahasa Indonesia or English. The scope of the articles listed in this journal relates to various topics, including education for Sustainable Development, Community Services, People, Local Food Security, Nutrition and Public Health, Training, Marketing, Appropriate Technology, Design, Community Empowerment, Social Access, Student Community Services, Border Region, Less Developed Region. Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi tentang komunikasi terbuka pendidikan seks yang diberikan orang tua terhadap anak bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman bahwa orang tua perlu untuk melakukan komunikasi terbuka dengan anak, agar meminimalisir resiko-resiko dari permasalahan seksualitas, serta memberikan pendidikan seks dari orang tua terhadap anak. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yakni ceramah, diskusi dan refleksi. Hasil kegiatan ini antara lain: menambah wawasan bagi orang tua, melatih orang tua untuk lebih memperhatikan perkembangan seksual anak, supaya orang tua dapat memberikan pemahaman yang positif sebagai pendidikan seks. Pemahaman terhadap pentingnya komunikasi terbuka antara orang tua dengan anak menjadi salah satu cara pencegahan dampak negatif yang disebabkan dari permasalahan seksualitas.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities carried out in Pulubala village is to socialize tips in increasing endurance through yoga respiratory Gymnastics for health. The benefits of this socialization activity can directly contribute science and skills for the people of Pulubala Village, Gorontalo Regency in maintaining their health and increasing their endurance through yoga breathing Gymnastics techniques that will be taught. Furthermore, the benefits for the lecturer are as a form of science contribution to the community in terms of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the form of Community Service. The method of community service implementation includes lectures, questions and answers and demonstrations. The evaluation of this activity is the community's understanding and ability to perform yoga breathing exercises through feedback from the community through the activities that have been implemented. Holding group practice sessions regularly for several days to ensure that people really understand and are able to do yoga breathing exercise techniques correctly. Positive feedback from the community regarding the benefits felt after participating in socialization activities and practicing yoga breathing exercises.

Abstract

Banyu Hidup Village, located in Tanah Bumbu Regency, has a lot of empty land that has not been utilized optimally. This community service aims to utilize the empty land into fruit and vegetable plantations in order to improve the economy, food availability and farming skills of the local community. Through training and improving agricultural skills, the community is expected to be able to turn empty land into productive land, which will have a positive impact on the residents' economy. Implementation methods include land surveys, outreach and training in plant cultivation techniques. The results of the activity show an increase in farming skills and residents' motivation to utilize empty land. In addition, planting corn and spinach produced a good harvest within three months, which had a direct impact on increasing residents' income. Survey results show that 80% of residents involved were satisfied and gave positive feedback about this program. The success of this program shows the importance of planning and community participation in optimizing the potential of vacant land for community welfare.

Abstract

In the Society 5.0 era, digital technology has changed the way humans interact and work, including in the education sector. This article discusses the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) at SMP Negeri 6 Gorontalo City by utilizing websites as a tool to increase students' learning readiness. The aim of this service is to empower teachers through training and providing digital resources that support the implementation of PBL. The methods used in this service include teacher training and implementing a website as a learning platform. This service was carried out for one month and involved 51 teachers from various backgrounds. The evaluation results show that the use of websites in PBL not only increases student motivation and involvement in the learning process, but also makes it easier for teachers to deliver material and manage the class. The website provides an interactive and collaborative platform that enriches students' learning experience and prepares them to face the challenges of the digital era. In conclusion, the implementation of website-based PBL has succeeded in increasing students' learning readiness and changing teachers' teaching methods positively. Measuring tools used to determine the success of this activity include teacher satisfaction surveys, classroom observations, and assessing student engagement and motivation through questionnaires and interviews.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi program Zoomer Eco sebagai caraka lingkungan hidup dalam upaya mengembangkan kecerdasan ekologis siswa di SMP Negeri 8 SATAP Tondano. Program ini melibatkan serangkaian kegiatan mulai dari sosialisasi, pelatihan pengelolaan sampah organik dan anorganik, hingga budidaya tanaman hidroponik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran ekologis siswa, yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan hasil post-test dibandingkan pre-test. Pemilihan 12 calon Caraka Lingkungan Hidup dari hasil pre-test dan seleksi lebih lanjut menghasilkan satu Caraka yang berperan sebagai duta lingkungan di sekolah. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi sekolah lain dalam mengembangkan karakter peduli lingkungan.

Abstract

Pendidikan jasmani bagi ABK sangatlah penting, walaupun demikian program yang di berikan harus di sesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan hambatan ABK itu sendiri agar hasilnya dapat optimal. Agar dapat memberikan pelayanan secara optimal guru harus memiliki kemampuan dan keterampilan khusus dalam mengelola pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Adaptif. Peran dari mereka yang terlibat dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan Pendidikan Jasmani Adaptif adalah sebagai berikut: Memberikan pelayanan langsung kepada siswa siswa yang berkelainan dan keluarga mereka, memberikan latihan pra-jabatan dan/atau dalam jabatan. setiap murid berkebutuhan khusus memiliki kelainan yang berbeda-beda sehingga kebutuhan untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan setiap murid juga tidak akan sama. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan-kebutuhan murid tersebut guru dapat memodifikasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani sesuai dengan keadaan pembelajaran yang dihadapi. faktor-faktor yang perlu dimodifikasi dan disesuaikan para guru dalam upaya meningkatkan dengan siswa adalah sebagai berikut: 1) penggunaan bahasa, 2) membuat konsep yang konkret, 3) membuat urutan tugas, 4) ketersediaan waktu belajar, dan 5) pendekatan “multisensory dan pengunaan media”.
