Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) and social media advertising on consumers' purchase intention. The research employs a quantitative method. It involves 146 respondents who intend to purchase cosmetic products from a specific brand in Semarang City. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS. The regression analysis results indicate that Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) has a positive effect on consumers' purchase intention, and social media advertising also positively influences consumers' purchase intention.

Abstract

Employee performance is the main capital for an organization to be able to maintain and develop its existence. Many things support human resources to have good quality and performance, one of which is organizational change, competence and organizational commitment. This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational change and competence on employee performance mediated by organizational commitment. The method used in sampling is a census sample, with a total of 95 respondents. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The test results show that there is a positive and significant influence between organizational change and competence on organizational commitment. There is a positive and significant influence between organizational change, competence and organizational commitment on employee performance. Organizational commitment is a good mediating variable, the influence of organizational change on employee performance and the influence of competence on employee performance

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the factors of social inequality and economic inequality that contribute to different crime rates in Indonesia from 2018 to 2022. In this research, variables such as poverty, unemployment, average years of schooling, population, and Gini ratio will be considered . This research uses quantitative methods to analyze panel data using multiple linear regression methods and Eviews 12. The results of the research show that the variables of population and poverty influence the crime rate in Indonesia, but the variables of unemployment, average years of schooling, and the Gini ratio do not influence the rate. crime in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study will look at how variations in world oil prices and currency exchange rates affect Indonesia's economic growth in the short and long term, from 2009 to 2023. Using a quantitative method using the error correction (ECM) model, the results of the study show that oil prices and exchange rates have a significant influence on Indonesia's economic growth in the long term. But on the other hand, in the short term, oil prices and exchange rates do not have a significant impact on economic growth. This research can conclude that changes in oil prices and exchange rate fluctuations have a greater impact on the long-term economy, which means that it has a very important impact on Indonesia's economic policy.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of village apparatus competency and education level on the quality of village financial reports. Transparency, accountability and community participation in village financial management are important aspects in realizing good financial governance. However, various factors such as low competency of village officials and lack of relevant educational background can affect the quality of village financial reports. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via AMOS software. The research sample consisted of village officials in Lemito District, Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo Province. The research results show that the competence of village officials has a positive and significant effect on the quality of village financial reports with a t-value of 3.740 (p < 0.05). Likewise, the education level of village officials has a positive and significant influence on the quality of village financial reports with a t-value of 2.149 (p < 0.05). Simultaneously, village apparatus competency and education level explain 76.5% of the variation in the quality of village financial reports. These findings support agency theory which emphasizes the importance of accountability and transparency in village financial governance. Increasing the competence and education of village officials is a key factor in producing financial reports that are accurate, transparent and accountable. Therefore, the recommendation of this research is the need for training programs and increasing the capacity of village officials in the field of accounting and financial management in order to improve the quality of village financial reports.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of school leadership, work environment, and workload on teacher performance. The object of this research is a private vocational high school in Semarang City. The results show that the independent variables of school leadership and work environment have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, while the independent variable of workload has a negative and insignificant effect on teacher performance. Good school leadership in providing guidance, support, and motivation to teachers will influence the improvement of teacher quality and work productivity. A good work environment with adequate facilities and a supportive atmosphere will help teachers work more effectively, increase motivation, and ultimately improve teacher performance. Heavy workloads can lead to physical and mental fatigue, which can ultimately disrupt work productivity and performance quality. An imbalanced workload can cause stress, decreased motivation, and exhaustion, leading to a decline in teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of brand image on customer loyalty at Mediakita Publisher, a publishing company. Brand image and customer loyalty are the objects of this research as independent and dependent variables. This research employs a descriptive quantitative methodology utilizing a survey research design. The study's population comprised all followers of the Mediakita Publisher Instagram account, with a sample size of 100 respondents. For this analysis, SPSS version 25 is being used, and the results indicated a positive and significant impact of brand image on customer loyalty at Mediakita Publisher, with an influence of 36.9%. Increasing contact with account followers through interactive material, publishing books on customer-interested subjects, and releasing special edition books are some ideas that can be made.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of transformational leadership style and intrinsic motivation on employee performance through job satisfaction at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of East Halmahera Regency. The total sample in this study consisted of 60 employees at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of East Halmahera Regency. The sample selection method used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The analytical test tool used was path analysis using the Partial Least Square (PLS) program. The results of the study show: Transformational Leadership Style on Employee Performance has a positive and significant effect, Intrinsic Motivation on Employee Performance has a positive and significant effect, Transformational Leadership Style on Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect, Intrinsic Motivation on Job Satisfaction does not have a positive and significant effect, Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance has a positive and significant effect, Transformational Leadership Style on Employee Performance in Mediation by Job Satisfaction has an influential and significant effect, Intrinsic Motivation on Employee Performance in Mediation by Job Satisfaction has no significant effect.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how consumer behavior at the Stuffbyms skincare store in Semarang City is influenced by Perceived Price, Digital Marketing, and Positive Word of Mouth. The sample in this study were social media followers of Herborist at Stuffbyms skincare shop in Semarang City using purposive sampling technique and distributing questionnaires via social media. Some tests were carried out using spss version 26. This matter is included in the validity, reliability, F test, coefficient of determination (R2), and t test for data analysis. The results of the study according to statistics show that Perceived Price has a significance level of 0.003, Digital Marketing has a significance level of 0.001, and Positive Word of Mouth has a significance level of 0.005. All of these factors as a whole have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Herborist products.

Abstract

The Indonesian cigarette industry is a highly competitive and heavily regulated market, where consumer preferences are influenced by various factors, including price, brand perception, and flavor. This study examines the key determinants of consumer switching behavior in the cigarette market, focusing on PT. Gudang Garam, a major tobacco producer in Indonesia. Over the past three years, the company has experienced a decline in market share, raising concerns regarding the effectiveness of its branding, pricing, and product offerings. This research aims to analyze the extent to which price, brand perception, and flavor importance affect consumer switching behavior. A quantitative approach was employed, using survey data collected through structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling to test the relationships among these variables. The findings indicate that price exerts the most significant influence on consumer switching, followed by flavor importance, while brand perception plays a comparatively smaller role. The mediation analysis further reveals that price acts as an intermediary between brand perception and switching behavior, as well as between flavor importance and switching behavior, reinforcing the central role of pricing strategies in the industry.The results suggest that Gudang Garam must reconsider its pricing model and explore cost-effective strategies to compete in the price-sensitive segments. Additionally, product diversification, particularly in flavored cigarette offerings, is critical in responding to shifting consumer preferences. Enhancing brand perception through modernized marketing strategies may also contribute to improving customer retention. These findings offer valuable insights for industry stakeholders, highlighting the importance of aligning pricing, product innovation, and brand positioning with evolving market demands.
