Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of Brand Ambassador and Korean Wave on NCTZen's purchasing interest in Somethinc products. This research is quantitative, with 63.3 thousand NCTzens who are followers of the NCT Dream fan account (yodream25) as the population. The sample size of 96 respondents was calculated using the Cochran formula by applying a non-probability sampling method, purposive sampling type. Data analysis was processed using the path analysis method, with data collection through distributing questionnaires using Google Form. Using data analysis tools with SPSS version 27. The results show that there is a significant positive relationship between Brand Ambassador and the Korean Wave. Apart from that, this research also reveals that Brand Ambassador has a significant influence in influencing NCTzen's buying interest in Somethinc products, the Korean wave phenomenon also influences NCTzen's buying interest in Somethinc products. Meanwhile, Brand Ambassador and Korean Wave simultaneously influence NCTzen's buying interest in Somethinc products.

Abstract

The research was conducted at Transmart Karawang. In the current era of globalization, demand from consumers is increasing so as to provide profitable potential for the business world. A survey was conducted on the customer value index of 10 stores in Indonesia, one of the retail companies that is experiencing these problems is Transmart which occupies the fourth position. Reporting from kompas.com, it is said that at least 12 Transmart outlets will be permanently closed throughout 2022. The problem of declining sales levels at Transmart Karawang, as evidenced by the decreasing number of customers visiting the store, is the main subject of this study. This phenomenon is believed to arise due to consumer skepticism about their purchasing choices, which are influenced by product completeness and sales promotions. The purpose of this observation is to understand how product completeness and sales promotion affect consumer purchasing decisions at Transmart Karawang. The applied data sources include main data and supporting data, while the applied data collection techniques include questionnaires, face-to-face interactions, observations, and literature studies. A research sample of 99 respondents was selected from a population of 8422 using the Slovin formula. This research utilizes multiple linear regression analysis methodology using SPSS version 27.0 software to evaluate the effect of product completeness and sales promotion on purchasing decisions at Transmart Karawang. The research findings show that 82.9% of consumers in Transmart Karawang are influenced in their purchasing choices by the presence of product completeness and purchase promotions. A total of 17.1% of the evaluation was influenced by unresolved issues in this study.

Abstract

This is research examines how the study program curriculum influences the competency of accounting students. This research also examines the influences of the study program curriculunm and accounting student competencies on accounting students’ confidence in working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) so that their role is not completely replaced by AI. This research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach carried out by distributing questionnaires to Bachelor of Accounting students at Stikubank University Semarang. Sampling used a purposive random sampling technique by collecting a sample of 116 respondents. This results show that the curriculum influences student competence. Apart from that, the research results show that the curriculum and competencies influence student’s self-confidence. Universities need a curriculum that provides various practice-related cases to improve competency related to the ability and operation of accounting software so that students have high self-confidence.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the differences between PROFER and Non-PROFER regarding the disclosure of the carbon emissions environmental performance of pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2023 period. The population in this research is pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and having PROFER and Non-PROFER ratings in 2019-2023. Sampling was carried out using the Purposive Sampling method. The research results show that there is no market reaction to mergers and acquisitions which is indicated by the value of no difference in the disclosure of environmental performance of carbon emissions produced by PROFER and NON PROFER pharmaceutical companies on the IDX for the 2019-2023 period.

Abstract

Tax avoidance, especially if done through tax planning, is a legitimate way to reduce taxes while still complying with tax rules. This study aims to determine the influence of leverage, sustainability report (SR), and corporate social responsibility (CSR) on tax avoidance. Secondary data is one type of data used in this quantitative research procedure. Samples were taken from nineteen mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and produced 94 samples between 2018 and 2022. Abstract

This research aims to analyze and explain the influence of regional taxes on regional expenditure, to determine the influence of regional levies on regional expenditure, to determine the influence of other legitimate regional original income on regional expenditure. To find out and analyze simultaneously regional taxes, regional levies, other influences of legitimate regional original income on regional expenditure in Karawang district. This research method uses quantitative verification, the sample used is the Karawang district realization report. The analytical test used is multiple linear regression analysis, with partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing. The results of this research show that regional taxes partially have a positive and significant effect on regional spending with a contribution of 42.51% which has a strong relationship with regional spending. Regional levies partially have a positive and significant effect on regional spending with a contribution of 17.06% which has a weak level of relationship with regional spending. Other partially valid PAD does not have a significant but positive effect on regional spending because it has a contribution of 10.96% which has a weak level of relationship with regional spending. Regional taxes, regional levies and others -others: Legal PAD simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on regional spending with a contribution of 50.9%, while heredity is influenced by other people

Abstract

Internal and external factors can cause each individual to have different characteristics and tendencies in terms of saving. This research aims to determine the influence of financial literacy and pocket money management on saving behavior at the Unesa Faculty of Economics and Business which is mediated by self-control. The purposive sampling technique used in this research was 100 FEB Unesa students. Data collection methods are carried out through test questions and questionnaires. Data processing in this study used SPSS version 25 software, the research results showed that: 1) there is no influence between financial literacy on saving behavior, 2) there is a significant positive influence between financial literacy and self-control, 3) there is a significant positive influence between self-control on saving behavior, 4) there is a significant positive influence between pocket money management on saving behavior, 5) there is a significant positive influence between pocket money management on self-control, 6) self-control is able to mediate financial literacy and pocket money management on saving behavior, 7) Self-control is able to mediate pocket money management on saving behavior.

Abstract

One of the careers that can be an option for students of Islamic Economics is a career in Islamic Banking. This study was conducted to analyze the influence of Islamic bank knowledge, religiosity, and family environment on interest in a career in Islamic banks, with motivation as a variable of moderation. The population in this study comprised 164 students of the Islamic Economics Study Program, with a sample of 116 students selected using a simple random sampling method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires in the form of Google Forms. The data analysis techniques performed in this study included instrument validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests such as normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and heteroscedasticity tests. Hypothesis testing included multiple linear regression tests and MRA tests. The results of the analysis using the SPSS 26 program showed that knowledge of Islamic banks, religiosity, and family environment significantly influence career interest in Islamic banks. However, the motivation variable could not moderate the influence of Islamic bank knowledge, religiosity, and family environment on career interest in Islamic banks. This indicates that while these factors are important, motivation alone does not strengthen their impact on career interest in this field.

Abstract

The development of technology and social media has accelerated rapidly, it is not wrong if this condition is an opportunity for business actors to use it as a marketing medium for their business products to reach more consumers. Sweet Ice Tempuran is an MSME in the culinary sector that implements social media platforms as an effort to attract and reach more consumers. This study intends to analyze the influence of social media marketing and sales promotion on purchasing interest. This study involved 96 consumers from MSME Sweet Ice. The data collection technique used was through the use of a questionnaire; and data analysis was carried out by applying hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25.0. The results of this study show that partially, the variables social media marketing (X1) and sales promotion (X2) have a positive and significant influence on purchase interest (Y). And simultaneously the variables social media marketing (X1) and sales promotion (X2) have a significant effect on purchase interest (Y) by 52.6%, while other results are influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of the Current Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, Long-Term Debt to Equity, and Company Size on profit growth in retail sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2019-2022 period. The data used were obtained from financial statements accessed through the IDX website. This research employs purposive sampling method. The data were analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression. The results show that Company Size has a positive and significant effect on profit growth, while the Current Ratio and Total Asset Turnover have no effect on profit growth, and Long-Term Debt to Equity has a negative and significant effect on profit growth.
