Abstract

At present the condition of Nopi Garden Nopi is no longer good due to the damage to the embankment that collapsed on Lake Nopi Lake. So the minimum number of visitors who come to Nopi Garden Lake. Therefore the study aims to describe Lake Nopi Lake as a place for Family Recreation. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects of this study were key informants, namely Nopi garden Lake Manager, Head of Destination for Culture and Tourism of Kuantan Singingi Regency, the Community around Nopi Garden Lake, and additional informants, namely Nopi Garden Lake Visitors.Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and interviews.The results showed that the Nopi Garden Rustic Hill Village Mudik Quantity District, Kuantan Singingi Regency as a place for family recreation was no longer functioning. For the attraction activities at Lake Nopi Garden, it is no longer good, as there are no more activities to play bicycle water, due to damage to Nopi Garden Lake. Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this study were to find out whether or not the use of English Comic Book series could improve reading comprehension of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 32 Palembang. In this study, one group pre-test and post-test control group design was applied. The population was 170 seventh grade students in academic year 2013/2014. Purposive sampling method was applied and class VII.1 (N=34) and class VII.2 (N=34) were involved as the sample. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The result of the data analysis showed that the mean difference of the pre test and post test of the experimental group was significant (p < 0.05). The result of the independent sample t-test also showed that the mean differences of the post test of experimental group and control group were significant (p < 0.05). These results confirmed that the use of English Comic book series could be used as a reading material to help the seven graders of SMP Negeri 32 improve their reading comprehension. In addition, the result of this study showed that using a variety of reading materials in teaching reading comprehension is important. Key words: reading comprehension, English Comic book series

Abstract

Andropause is a decrease in testosterone levels in men which is a natural process that occurs with age and all men must suffer from andropause. In men, andropause conditions can cause various symptoms, one of the is depression. Decreasing in testosterone levels affect the hormone serotonin as an antidepressant resulting in the onset of depression. This study is to describe the level of depression in men aged 30-50 years who experienced Andropause in District Tembalang. this study is a descriptive study, with cross sectional study design. Sampling by Propotional  Random  Sampling with total sample of 100 respondents based on formula of estimation of proportion with known population. The result showed 64 respondents who had andropause were 64 (64%), as many as 36 (56.2%) of respondents who had experienced andropause also experienced depression while 28 (48.3%) respondents did not experience depression. In addition, Respondents who experienced andropause symptoms showed a positive relationship toward depression status. Depression levels of respondents experiencing andropause most experienced a mild depression 28 (87,5%), whereas in respondents who didn’t experience andropause more not depressed by 30 (51.7%). Results indicated men who have andropause may experience depressive symptoms more severe, compared with men without andropause. Therefore, herefore, men who are already active andropause age can prevent and suffer as early as possible by doing a healthy lifestyle  such as regular exercise, maintaining a balanced diet, enough rest, reduce alcohol and can minimize the risk of depression, in addition health workers can optimize posyandu elderly as a place of information andropause and health of elderly men.

Abstract

Government programs and services have problems identified including protracted delays, requests for rewards, not providing services, incompetence, abuse of authority, discrimination, and partiality. Community service in Telukpinang Village, Ciawi District, Bogor Regency by Fisip Djuanda University aims to improve public services through the utilization of information technology, specifically the Cibolang Village Information System of Teluk Pinang Village (SIKANCIL TENANG). This activity includes observation, preparation, pretest and posttest, as well as training and counseling involving all village employees. The observation results showed that the village had not maximized information technology for public services. The pretest results showed that the participants' knowledge was quite good with an average of 62%, but after the training, the participants' knowledge increased to 88%. The materials presented included the concept of public services, legal basis, service standards, and components of public service standards, as well as the operational use of SIKANCIL TENANG.  This information system is designed to simplify population administration and improve the efficiency of village services. The training results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, as evidenced by higher posttest results compared to the pretest. The use of SIKANCIL TENANG is expected to provide more efficient, faster, and transparent public services, thereby increasing public trust in the village government. The implementation of this technology also aims to reduce inequality and create a conducive environment for investment as well as equitable services in various aspects, including education and health.

Abstract

Tujuan pendidikan Indonesia sebagai wujud cita luhur pendirian bangsa, diamanatkan oleh Undang-Undang untuk dioptimalkan proses dan hasilnya pada lembaga pendidikan, baik itu sekolah, madrasah, dayah (pondok pesantren), atau jenis lembaga pendidikan lainnya. Dalam konteks untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, dibutuhkan peran optimal dari guru profesional. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi meningkatkan kinerja guru yang profesional. Adapun jenis pendekatan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif, sebagai paradigma pendekatan penelitian yang bersifat argumentatif dan deskriptif terhadap berbagai temuan. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui berbagai literatur ilmiah, yang diperoleh dari laman kredibel meliputi Google Scholar, DOAJ, dan SINTA. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi meningkatkan kinerja guru profesional ialah dengan membina, mengawasi, memotivasi, dan mengevaluasi kinerja guru secara berkala dan kontiniu dengan bantuan dan peran dari kepala sekolah.

Abstract

The research was conducted at Transmart Karawang. In the current era of globalization, demand from consumers is increasing so as to provide profitable potential for the business world. A survey was conducted on the customer value index of 10 stores in Indonesia, one of the retail companies that is experiencing these problems is Transmart which occupies the fourth position. Reporting from kompas.com, it is said that at least 12 Transmart outlets will be permanently closed throughout 2022. The problem of declining sales levels at Transmart Karawang, as evidenced by the decreasing number of customers visiting the store, is the main subject of this study. This phenomenon is believed to arise due to consumer skepticism about their purchasing choices, which are influenced by product completeness and sales promotions. The purpose of this observation is to understand how product completeness and sales promotion affect consumer purchasing decisions at Transmart Karawang. The applied data sources include main data and supporting data, while the applied data collection techniques include questionnaires, face-to-face interactions, observations, and literature studies. A research sample of 99 respondents was selected from a population of 8422 using the Slovin formula. This research utilizes multiple linear regression analysis methodology using SPSS version 27.0 software to evaluate the effect of product completeness and sales promotion on purchasing decisions at Transmart Karawang. The research findings show that 82.9% of consumers in Transmart Karawang are influenced in their purchasing choices by the presence of product completeness and purchase promotions. A total of 17.1% of the evaluation was influenced by unresolved issues in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, asset management and capital structure on financial performance with company size as a moderating variable among palm oil companies listed on IDX the period 2019-2023. Financial performance as the dependent variable is proxied by ROA. The independent variables include liquidity, asset management and capital structure. The population of this study is 24 palm oil companies listed on the IDX the period 2019-2023. This study employs a purposive sampling method and selects a sample of 20 palm oil companies listed on the IDX. The analysis technique utilized is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using the SPSS 23 application. The result of this study is that liquidity has no effect on financial performance, asset management has an effect on financial performance, capital structure has no effect on financial performance, company size moderates the effect of liquidity on financial performance, company size does not moderate the effect of asset management on financial performance and company size moderate the effect of capital structure on financial performance.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang berdampak serius pada kualitas hidup seseorang. Di Indonesia, stunting menjadi salah satu prioritas utama dalam peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat, terutama di daerah pedesaan yang rentan terhadap kekurangan gizi. Desa Warnajati, Sukabumi, merupakan salah satu daerah yang berisiko tinggi terhadap stunting, disebabkan oleh kondisi sosial-ekonomi yang kurang menguntungkan dan keterbatasan akses terhadap pangan bergizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan strategi pencegahan stunting melalui pengolahan pangan lokal berbasis ikan lele, serta memajukan perekonomian desa melalui pemanfaatan sumber daya yang ada. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Assets-Based Community Development (ABCD) yang berfokus pada pemanfaatan potensi lokal. Program ini melibatkan masyarakat Desa Warnajati dalam proses pengolahan lele menjadi produk nugget, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran gizi sekaligus memperkuat ekonomi lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan ekonomi dan partisipasi komunitas dalam pencegahan stunting melalui inovasi pangan lokal. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi program serupa di daerah lain dengan risiko stunting yang tinggi.

Abstract

Sales promotion is one element of marketing communication that influences consumer purchasing decisions. The purpose of the research conducted was to find out whether sales promotions carried out by Transmart Tuparev Karawang affect purchasing decisions at Transmart Tuparev Karawang. The independent variable used in this study is Sales Promotion (x) while the dependent variable is Purchase Decision (y). The research method used in this research is quantitative research using a simple linear regression method. The population studied was Transmaart Tuparev Karawang visitors in April 2023 with a total of 8648 visitors. Samples were taken as many as 99 respondents with a sampling technique using the Slovin formula and data collection using questionnaires, observation, interviews, and literature study. The results of this study are that there is an effect of sales promotion on purchasing decisions at Transmart Tuparev Karawang of 46.50%, namely the effect of sales promotion on purchasing decisions is included in the medium category and the remaining 53.50% is influenced by other variables not examined by the author.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan mempelajari pentingnya penerapan manajemen yang dapat dijadikan ilustrasi dan petunjuk bagi pelaku usaha. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan deksriptif- kualitatif. Sumber data utama berasal dari data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui studi literatur. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga alur yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa manajemen bisnis penting bagi pelaku usaha agar usaha dapat berjalan meski di tengah-tengah situasi sulit. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bisnis yang dikelola dengan prinsip manajemen bisnis mampu untuk bertahan dan menjaga keberlanjutan operasional bisnis. Implementasi manajemen bisnis sangat penting untuk diwujudkan oleh pelaku UMKM dalam menjalankan bisnis.
