Abstract

This study examines the effects of Live Streaming Quality (LSQ), Perceived Value (PV), and Trust on Purchase Decision, with Customer Engagement (CE) as a mediating variable among Jiniso consumers on TikTok Shop. The study uses the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory as its theoretical foundation. A descriptive-causal quantitative design was applied to 150 Generation Z respondents in Banyumas who were selected through purposive sampling. The researchers collected data using a 28-item questionnaire measured on a five-point Likert scale and analyzed the data using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3.0. The results indicate that LSQ, PV, and Trust have positive and significant effects on CE (β = 0.326–0.428). LSQ, PV, Trust, and CE also have positive and significant effects on Purchase Decision (β = 0.205–0.362). In addition, CE mediates the effects of LSQ, PV, and Trust on Purchase Decision. The model explains 59.9% of the variance in CE and 78.8% of the variance in Purchase Decision. These findings suggest that local fashion brands should improve live streaming quality, perceived value, and consumer trust to strengthen engagement and purchase decisions on TikTok Shop.

Abstract

The rapid growth of outdoor activities in Indonesia has increased the demand for outdoor equipment while intensifying competition among outdoor apparel manufacturers. Although Eiger is one of the most recognized outdoor brands, previous studies have reported inconsistent findings regarding the influence of brand image, product quality, and product innovation on purchase decisions. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effects of brand image, product quality, and product innovation on the purchase decisions of Eiger products in Purwokerto. This study employed a quantitative research approach using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique involving 231 respondents who had previously purchased Eiger products. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The findings reveal that brand image, product quality, and product innovation all have positive and significant effects on purchase decisions. Among these variables, product quality exerts the strongest influence, followed by brand image and product innovation. Furthermore, the three independent variables explain 72.0% of the variance in purchase decisions. The novelty of this study lies in the simultaneous examination of brand image, product quality, and product innovation in the context of Eiger consumers in Purwokerto as an extension of previous research. These findings provide practical insights for Eiger in strengthening product quality, enhancing brand image, and developing product innovation to improve consumers' purchase decisions

Abstract

Home ownership financing based on a murabahah contract is one form of Islamic financing that needs to be implemented in accordance with Islamic principles and provisions, particularly DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 04/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 concerning Murabahah. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the murabahah contract in new home ownership financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) for Cluster Sisi Tenang, Lot L1, Bogor, and to analyze its conformity with the provisions of DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 04/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 concerning Murabahah. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the parties engaged in the financing process, namely the customer, BSI, and the developer. The results show that the implementation of the murabahah contract is carried out through several stages, including the selection of the property and financing application, verification of the customer and property, issuance of the Financing Offer Letter (SP3), execution of the contract, the use of wakalah in the purchase or administrative process of the property, disbursement of financing to the developer in stages based on construction progress, and installment payments by the customer. The financing structure consists of an acquisition cost of IDR 447,000,000, a margin of IDR 519,193,876.56, a murabahah selling price of IDR 966,193,876.56, bank financing of IDR 360,000,000, a down payment of IDR 87,000,000, and a financing term of 240 months. Based on the analysis of DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 04/DSN-MUI/IV/2000, the implementation of murabahah generally fulfills most of the stipulated requirements, including the clarity and permissibility of the property, disclosure of the acquisition cost and margin, agreement on the financing term and payment mechanism, use of wakalah, down payment, and transparency of financing information. However, the aspect of ownership or possession of the property by BSI prior to the execution of the murabahah sale and purchase cannot yet be assessed conclusively because the land subdivision process and the legal documentation of the property were still in progress at the time of the study. Therefore, the study found insufficient evidence to conclude that there was any non-compliance; however, the aspect of ownership or possession of the property requires further documentary verification.

Abstract

Musyarakah financing is one of the partnership-based financing schemes in Islamic banking that emphasizes the principles of justice, transparency, profit and loss sharing, and risk sharing. However, its implementation often faces challenges related to business monitoring, financial reporting, and customers' understanding of Islamic financing principles. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the musyarakah contract at PT BPR Syariah Meru Nusantara Mandiri from the perspective of Islamic finance principles. This research employed a qualitative approach with a field research design. Primary data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews with bank officers, and documentation, while secondary data were obtained from regulations, DSN-MUI Fatwas, books, and relevant scientific literature. The collected data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of the musyarakah contract has generally complied with Islamic principles and the DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 08/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 concerning Musyarakah Financing. The principles of justice, transparency, sharia compliance, profit and loss sharing, and risk sharing have been implemented in financing activities. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited financial literacy among customers, inadequate business financial records, and constraints in monitoring financing activities. Therefore, strengthening customer education, improving monitoring systems, and optimizing financial reporting are essential to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of musyarakah financing.

Abstract

Internal service quality is an important aspect of supporting operational efficiency and employee performance in a company. The Finance Logistics Division at PT. XXX provides procurement administration services to various divisions, including Purchase Request (PR) processing, document verification, Purchase Order (PO) issuance, and coordination with related parties. This study aims to analyze the service quality of the Finance Logistics Division, identify the challenges encountered during the service process, and examine the efforts made to improve internal service quality. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation and interviews with three informants selected using purposive sampling, consisting of a service provider, a coordinator of users’ needs, and an internal service user. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with the five SERVQUAL dimensions—tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy—as the analytical framework. The results show that internal services generally run effectively. The tangibles dimension is supported by adequate work facilities, the Accurate system, organized archives, and operational mobile phones that support administrative activities and coordination. The reliability dimension is shown by consistent PR verification before PO issuance, although revisions are still needed due to inaccurate information and sudden procurement needs. The responsiveness dimension is reflected in the follow-up of PRs and communication when document revisions are needed. Assurance and empathy are reflected in employees’ understanding of procedures and attention to users’ needs. The findings show that service quality is not only influenced by the Finance Logistics Division but also by the accuracy of information and coordination among units throughout the PR-to-PO process. Therefore, improving cross-unit coordination and the accuracy of procurement requests is important to increase the effectiveness of internal procurement administration.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the 7P marketing mix in fostering customer loyalty toward gold backed financing products at BPRS Sarana Prima Mandiri Pamekasan. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Informants were selected purposively, consisting of the Branch Manager, marketing staff, customer service staff, and customers. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the seven marketing mix elements Sharia-compliant products, competitive daily ujrah fees, strategic location, effective promotional activities, professional personnel, fast and transparent service processes, and a comfortable physical environment collectively contribute to strengthening customer trust and satisfaction. These factors encourage customers to reuse the service and recommend it to others through word of mouth. Thus, customer loyalty in Islamic financial institutions is shaped not only by Sharia compliance but also by the consistent integration of the various marketing mix elements. The study provides theoretical insights and practical implications for BPRS management in developing effective Sharia-based marketing strategies.
