Abstract

This study aimed to examine whether marketing expenditure affected firm performance. Previous research has mentioned that there was an influence between marketing expenditure to profitability and firm value. However, some stakeholders and practitioners perceived that the budget for marketing expenditure has already overspent, which means it was assumed that marketing expenditure is very high cost and difficult to measure. In this research, the contribution of marketing expenditure to firm performance of the big four of the telecommunication companies in Indonesia (PT. Telkom, Tbk (including PT. Telkomsel), PT. Indosat Ooredoo, Tbk, PT. XL Axiata, Tbk, and PT. Smartfren Telecom, Tbk) would be analyzed. Firm performance was proxied as the profit margin on sales (PM on Sales), return on assets (ROA), return on investment (ROI), and return on equity (ROE). The methodology of the research used the quantitative model, and the analysis applied the simple regression. The results showed that the marketing expenditure had a significant effect on PM on Sales, ROI, and ROE, partially. On the contrary, the marketing expenditure had no impact on the return on assets (ROA).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analize: (1) The influence of Human Capital Efficiency (HCE) to firm’s performance. (2) The influence of Structural Capital Efficiency (SCE) to firm’s performance. (3) The influence of Capital Employed Efficiency (CEE) to firm’s performance. This study is the quantitative research with the population some listed companies at Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) for the year 2009 until 2011. Data collection based on the financial statement of the listed company at IDX, and using the purposive sampling methods. The analize used regression and t-test. The findings shown that, HCE (human capital efficiency) was not influence to ROA (return on assets), SCE (structural capital efficiency) positively influence to ROA, and CEE (capital employed efficiency) positively influence to ROA. HCE was not influence to ROE (return on equity), SCE positively influence to ROE, and CEE positively influence to ROE. HCE positively influence to RG (revenue growth), SCE positively influence to RG, CEE positively influence to RG.

Abstract

Every company has different problems of each type, including in the categorization of whether the company is categorized to be bankrupt or not. This study was conducted to study and detect the possibility of bankruptcy of pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia using the Altman Z-Score model. The sample used in this study is a pharmaceutical company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and the company publishes regular financial statements in 2012 until 2016. In the Altman Z-Score model, grouping companies into three categories ie not bankrupt, prone to bankruptcy, and bankruptcy. For companies that fall into the category of bankruptcy, should be more careful in asset management and corporate policy making and strive to continue to improve the company's performance and try to utilize assets owned more effectively and efficiently, so that will gain a more optimal advantage. While for companies that are in a healthy condition must still maintain and improve the performance of the company, so it will be sustinable and minimize the occurrence of bankruptcy. Setiap perusahaan memiliki permasalahan yang berbeda dari setiap jenisnya, termasuk dalam pengkategorian apakah perusahaan tersebut dikatakan bangkrut ataukah tidak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mempelajari dan mendeteksi kemungkinan terjadinya kebangkrutan perusahaan farmasi yang ada di Indonesia dengan menggunakan hitungan model Altman Z-Score. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dan perusahaan  tersebut menerbitkan laporan keuangan secara teratur pada tahun 2012 sampai dengan tahun 2016. Dalam model Altman Z-Score, mengelompokkan perusahaan menjadi tiga kategori yaitu tidak bangkrut, rawan bangkrut, dan bangkrut. Bagi perusahaan yang termasuk dalam kategori rawan bangkrut, harus lebih berhati–hati dalam pengelolaan aset dan melakukan pengambilan kebijakan perusahaan serta berusaha untuk terus meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan dan berusaha memanfaatkan aset yang dimilikinya dengan lebih efektif dan efisien, sehingga akan memperoleh keuntungan yang lebih optimal. Sedangkan bagi perusahaan yang berada dalam kondisi sehat harus tetap mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kinerja perusahaannya termasuk melakukan inovasi dan pengembangan bisnisnya, sehingga akan tetap terjaga keberlangsungannya dan memperkecil kemungkinan terjadinya kebangkrutan.Keywords :altman z-score, pharmaceutical company, bankruptcy, sustainableKata kunci : Altman z-score, perusahaan farmasi, kebangkrutan, keberlangsungan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence of the role of Competitive Advantage in mediating the relationship between Intellectual Capital and Good Corporate Governance and Financial Performance. The population of this study is the banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) 2016-2019. The method of determining the sample using a purposive sampling technique. The number of samples obtained was 31 companies with a total of 124 observations. Based on the research results, it was found that the variable that had a direct influence on the Competitive Advantage was the Good Corporate Governance variable, while the Intellectual Capital variable did not have a direct effect. Meanwhile, the variables that have a direct influence on financial performance are the variables of Good Corporate Governance and Competitive Advantage. Based on the results of the analysis, it was also found that Competitive Advantage was not able to mediate the relationship between Intellectual Capital and Financial Performance but was able to mediate the relationship between Good Corporate Governance and Financial Performance. Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 masih dirasakan dampaknya hingga saat ini. Penelitian sebelumnya banyak melaporkan bahwa stres menjadi dampak yang umum terjadi. Lebih spesifik, Stres  kerja terjadi pada guru karena perubahan pada sistem pembelajaran online selama pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana stres kerja guru selama pandemi COVID-19. Partisipan  dalam penelitian ini yaitu 98 guru yang bekerja dalam sistem pembelajaran online. pengumpulan data menggunakan google form karena saat penelitian dilakukan, pemberlakuan  physical distancing masih diberlakukan di Indonesia. Alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala stres kerja dengan analisis data dekriptif kategorisasi dan crosstab. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa stres kerja guru selama pandemi COVID-19 didominasi kategori sedang dan tinggi. Hasil tabulasi data menemukan perbedaan terkait kategori pada data demografi jenis kelamin. Selain itu ditemukan pula perbedaan terkait kategori pada rentang usia. Pemaparan kategorisasi dan implikasi penelitian ini dibahas secara rinci.

Abstract

Keterlibatan remaja dalam pengambilan keputusan pembelian keluarga, merupakan hasil interaksi antara ramaja dengan orang tuanya. Dalam rangka untuk mempengaruhi outcome yang diharapkan, remaja menerapkan strategi untuk mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian secara bervariasi yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti usia dan lingkungan budayanya. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis mengenai keterlibatan remaja dalam proses pengambilan Keputusan konsumen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah remaja beserta orang tuanya yang berdomisili di Kota Purwokerto. Adapun sampel ditentukan dengan metode purposif sampling yang berjumlah 55 remaja besertaorang tuanya (dyadic), sehingga total 110 orang responden. Hasil analisis menunjukkan pola interaksi orang tua dan remaja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keterlibatan remaja dalam pengambilan keputusan keluarga. Temuan lainnya adalah bahwa budaya berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap tingkat keterlibatanremaja dalam keputusan pembelian Keluarga.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of leadership style, communication, work motivation, and workload on employee job satisfaction at the Office of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning of the Land Agency (ATR/BPN) of Cilacap Regency. This type of research is a quantitative-survey research. The population in this study were all ATR/BPN employees in Cilacap Regency. Samples were taken using the slovin formula, totaling 108 employees at ATR/BPN Cilacap Regency. The sampling technique in this study used the Simple Random Sampling (SRS) technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The analysis technique in this study uses statistical analysis Smart Partial Least Square (Smart-PLS) 3.2.9 is used to test validity, reliability test, R-Square test, Net Fit Index (NFI) test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study prove that partially leadership style, communication, work motivation affect job satisfaction of ATR/BPN employees in Cilacap Regency, while workload partially does not affect job satisfaction of ATR/BPN employees in Cilacap Regency.Keywords: Leadership Style, Communication, Motivation, Workload, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Human resources have an important role in the company achieving its goals. This research aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, islamic work ethics, and psychological well-being on performance. The research uses primary data and is a type of quantitative research. Permanent nurse at RSI Muhamadiyah Tegal with a population of 155 people, using a purposive sampling method with the criteria being permanent nurses and a minimum work period of 1 year. The response rate in this study was 83.22% or 129 nurses. Questionnaires were distributed via Google Forms to collect data. Using multiple regression analysis via the SPSS 26 application. The results of this study show self-efficacy, Intrinsic motivation, and psychological well-being have a positive and significant effect on performance. However, Islamic work ethic does not affect performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of personal factors, organizational factors, non-organizational factors and self-efficacy on the organizational commitment of PT. Korean Indonesia Business Network. Sampling using incidental sampling method through a questionnaire. The sample used is 143 employees. The analytical technique used in this research is the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of this study indicate that personal factors, organizational factors, non-organizational factors, and self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Based on the test results, the coefficient of determination R2 adjusted is 96,2%.
