Abstract

القرآن هو الهدى لسائر الأمة في هذه الدنيا، يخرج الناس من الظلمات إلى النور ويهديهم إلى صراط العزيز المستقيم، وهو مجدد ومكمل ومصلح للكتب السمويات قبله، وهو معجزة وهبه الله إلى محمد صلى الله عليه وسلّم يعجر البشر على الإتيان بمثله فيه عن العقيدة والشريعة والمعاملة وغير ذلك، وكذالك فيه علوم كثيرة المنتفعة لحياة الإنسان إلى آخر حياته، ولن يكشف الإنسان تلك العلوم إلا بعد تدبّر آياته. ولم يهتموا كثيرا إلى الأسرار وضعها الله في تلك الآية المثال في بلاد إندونيسيا، هم يقرؤون سورة يس في ليلة الجمعة وللدعاء على الميت، وإذا تليت هذه السورة ظنّوا أنها دلّت على موت الإنسان، مع أن فيها عجائب الكون يدل على وحدانية الله تعالى وفيها مصدر في كشف العلوم الحديثة كعلم الفلك، والرياضية، والكيميا، والرياح وغير ذلك من العلوم المشيرة في هذه السورة. وهذا البحث يكشف بعض العلوم وضعها الله في هذه السورة، منها إشارت العلوم في هذه السورة ودوران الشمس وفوائدها، ومنازل القمر. حتى نكشف أبواب العلوم الكثيرة نتيجة على حركة الشمس والقمر.

Abstract

In a country and society, a leader is needed who is able to guide and guide the community. Leadership is every person's effort to influence a person's behavior or group behavior. Attempts to influence this behavior to achieve individual or group goals. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the concept of leadership is in the perspective of the Qur'an, how to understand what leadership means in the Qur'an, and what are the instructions of the Qur'an regarding leadership. This research is included in the category of library research, because it analyzes documents and sources of information related to what is being studied. While the interpretation method used is the Maudu'i interpretation method. From the results of this research, it can be explained that the concept of leadership in the perspective of the Qur'an, is seen as the ability of a leader to set an example, guide and convince those he leads consciously and voluntarily to carry out activities to achieve common goals from what is targeted in his leadership. The characteristics of leadership in the perspective of the Qur'an are having a spirit of trust, prioritizing deliberation, responsibility, and being able to be fair to those they lead. In addition, the essence of Qur'anic leadership is not only for worldly interests, but rather for accountability to Allah swt.

Abstract

For Muslims, marriage is not just a demand for physical and spiritual needs as living beings, but more than that, marriage is a medium to perfect their religion. The dimension of worship is very thick in marriage, and there are many evidences/nash from both the Qur'an and hadith that discuss about marriage. In the Qur'an Surah An-Nisa verse 21, Allah said that marriage is kind of mitsaqan ghalidzan, that is a strong and great agreement not only between men and women and their families but also with Allah SWT. Marriage problems are growing from time to time and lead to high divorce rates from year to year, shows that the meaning of marriage is only understood as akad/agreement of handover.  Therefore, this paper discusses the importance of understanding about the meaning of mitsaqan ghalidzan so that Muslims will understand more about purpose and meaning of marriage, so that they can better prepare themselves to carry out a real marriage as their nature for humans.

Abstract

Tax is a practice that has long been applied in world history, even in the practice of the Khilafah Islamiyah government, the concept of tax already exists. In the Qur'an there is a verse about “jizya” for disbelievers which is applied as compensation for the rights to become citizens. Likewise the verse about Dzulkarnain which alludes to “Al-Kharaj” which is more specific about taxes in general. This study uses the literature review method to examine how the Mufassir provide general provisions in the administration of taxes by the authorities. The result is that it is permissible as long as it must be based on benefit and justice, because the original rule is that human property is forbidden to be taken without a justified reason. So only the legitimate rulers can set tax rules for the general benefit. If it is taken or distributed in a vanity, the practice of taking other people's property is in  “maks” category which is strictly prohibited in the hadith.

Abstract

On the orientalist perspective such as Mingana, Nӧldeke, dan Goldziher many qiraah types that exists today is a sign of many contradiction in the Quran.  It means the authenticity of the Quran, today, is very doubtful.  On their perspective, the cause of the qiraah differencies is simplicity of Arabic writing which its letters, at that time, is empty from diacritics and letter marks.  It makes everyone read Quran according to their own perceptions.  This orientalist perspective is clearly contrary to the Muslim perspective, where the writings is not the only source of Quran recitation.  There is another source of recitation which is more important than the writings, riwāyah.  Riwayah is a way to convey a news to the other from the memory, not from the text.  For the illiterate people, to memorize every important things and its transmission (sanad) is more important than to write it down.  The orientalists, in many cases, failed to understand the culture because they stands besides the people as observer not participant.  They uses their own glasess to capture the phenomena ahead.  This such a perspective would produce a lot of distortion and a-history’s view.

Abstract

The rules of interpretation are the most important part for someone who wants to understand the meaning of the Qur'an, so that his understanding is close to what Allah SWT wants. and the meaning of the interpreted verse does not deviate. Lately, many interpretations of the Qur'anic verses have been issued by people who do not understand the rules of interpretation, so that the interpretation is based on their own or a group's passions and interests. Whereas according to M. Quraish Shihab, the rules of interpretation are a tool that saves someone from mistakes in interpreting the verses of the Qur'an, even though they are relative, but will be safer from mistakes if the way of interpretation is in accordance with the agreed rules. The rules of interpretation include linguistic rules, such as isim nakirah, ma'rifat, dhamir, mufrad, plural, khithab bi al-ism, khithab bi al-fi'il, as-su`al, al-response, al-wujûh, an -nazhâir, and al-musytarak; stylistic rules, such as manthûq, mafhûm, mujmal, mubayyan, 'am, khâs, muthlaq, muqayyad, haqiqat, majaz, muqaddam and mu`akhkhar; exegetical rules, such as muhkam, mutasyâbih, nasikh, mansukh, sab'ah ahruf, and others. The extent of the discussion so that in this study will only discuss linguistic rules. Each rule will be detailed in its meaning and function, accompanied by examples found in the verses of the Qur'an. After the explanation of each rule, it is clear that the rules of interpretation are mandatory for someone who wants to understand the meaning of the Qur'anic verse, because the rules will lead to an understanding of the text correctly and the application of the text to the context correctly.

Abstract

The method of interpreting of Koran using the transmitted interpretation (tafsir bi al-riwayah) is still relevant to be applied in this era, although it is less developed, compared with logical interpretation of Koran (tafsir bi al-ra’yi). This idea has showed up in reality through the findings of transmission based interpretation in many Indonesian interpretation of Koran (tafsir) books, which are classified as logic based interpretation, (tafsir bi al-ra’yi), such as Tafsir of Koran Published by Religious Affairs Department of RI. This book of interpretation of Koran combine the two methods of interpretation of Koran, the transmission basis, and the logical basis (tafsir bi al-riwayah, and tafsir bi al-ra'yi) in the interpretation of Koran, especially in modern issues. There are two data resources in this research, which are primary and secondary. The primary resourses is The Koran, and Tafsir of Koran Published by Religious Affairs Department of RI. Meanwhile, the secondary resources are books and information taken from scientific works and articles such as thesis, dissertation, journals, and other literatures. The approaches that are used in this research is interpretation of Koran approach. The data collected was analysed with descriptive approach.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the truth about the rights and obligations of husband and wife listed in the Qur'an. How does the Qur'an regulate and explain the rights and obligations of husband and wife so that it can be a solution in carrying out a harmonious husband and wife relationship. This research is a thematic-based library research. The method used by the author is descriptive analytical method. The primary data source is a verse of the Qur'an which discusses the rights and obligations of husband and wife. The results of this study indicate that the husband's obligations to his wife; give a dowry, provide spiritual zohir, have good intercourse with the wife, protect the wife from things that bring sin, while the wife's obligation to her husband; complementing the husband's shortcomings, being obedient to his husband, following his husband's residence, maintaining self-respect and his husband's property when he is not there, devoting himself to the husband in taking care of his children, and covering the husband's disgrace.

Abstract

In order to realize the strengthening of self-capacity towards public calling, it is necessary to develop adequate, qualified and qur'ani self-capacity. This study aims to describe and analyze Surah Al Muzamil verses 1-14. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive analysis approach. The focus of the research is strengthening self-capacity towards public calling (analysis of the Qur'an Surah Al Muzammil verses 1-14). The results of this study are strengthening self-capacity by getting used to getting closer to Allah SWT, through the medium of night prayer (tahajjud), if you want to start an activity so you can feel the presence of Allah SWT. As for other media, to build self-capacity is to do remembrance, put your trust, be optimistic, sincere, sincere, patient and istiqomah. Then also each individual must be able to build self-awareness.

Abstract

The Qur'an is a guide for humans, a guide in carrying out the mandate as caliph. So it is imperative to understand the meaning of the Qur'an, so as not to fall into error or misery. Its status as a human guide until the end of time requires scholars to practice ijtihad to find the right method or approach according to the times. In contemporary times, the approach or style of interpretation is developing very rapidly, one of which has been developed recently is the adab al-ijtima'i style, a style that emphasizes the social problems of society. This style tries to connect the verse text with the social context of the community, as an effort to overcome the problems that exist in the community, and its presentation in language that is easy to understand and interesting. The originators of this pattern are Jamaluddin al-Afghani, Muhammad Abduh, and Rashid Rida. In this study, it will be investigated how the development of theoretical studies of social interpretation in Indonesia. Starting from the era before independence, the old order, the new order, reform, to democracy. The attention of Indonesian scholars to the study of social interpretation is very rapid, there are books of interpretation that focus on efforts to overcome community problems, or writings that offer solutions to various community problems. Among the books or books that are quite familiar in Indonesia are the interpretations of Al-Mishbah, Al-Azhar, An-Nur, or in the form of simple books such as Oasis of the Qur'an, Tafsir on Social Media, or theses, theses, dissertations, to journals written by academics on Al-Qur'an campuses.
