Abstract

Glasses are one of the products that have a large market in Indonesia, this has caused Indonesia to be flooded with imported glasses products, where China occupies 90% of the supply of imported glasses in Indonesia. As a business with a large market, Optik Metro plays a role in the imported glasses business. Its large monthly turnover of up to 40 to 60 million demonstrates its success. Optik Metro is currently collaborating with two imported glasses Suppliers, namely PT A, which distributes glasses from Japan, and PT B, which distributes glasses from China. Optik Metro has trusted its supply of goods from these two Suppliers for 10 years. However, over time, these Suppliers were found to have made mistakes that caused Optik Metro to suffer losses, such as delays in the arrival of goods and many products that were found to not meet the requirements or were defective. The length of Optik Metro's cooperative relationship with glasses suppliers PT A and PT B has led Optik Metro to announce delays and defects in imported glasses. However, if this phenomenon is unchecked, large losses may occur and have fatal consequences if the Supplier's performance is not effective and efficient. Supplier selection is one part of Operations Management, namely supply chain management, closely related to distributing products to consumers. Selecting the best-imported eyewear Supplier can be assisted with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a method for selecting Suppliers based on seven criteria determined by the company.

Abstract

Carbon Footprint Modeling of Al Kausar Boarding School in the Parungkuda area is the first step in realizing low-carbon educational activities based on boarding school life. This research aims to analyze carbon emissions from the direct and indirect activities of current Al Kausar Internat Middle School residents, as well as develop a model based on a dynamic systems approach to reduce carbon emissions in the future. The research method uses a quantitative approach by collecting data through literature study, observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation, measuring waste generation, calculating secondary and primary data, calculating gas usage, and calculating the duration of social media access. The research results show that the total carbon emissions from several dominant activities of Al Kausar Boarding School are currently 839,721,408 KgCO 2 eq. Teak gardens and various trees in the school environment absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) as much as 592,675.64 KgCO2 per year. Using carbon uptake by trees cultivated in Al Kausar, total carbon emissions are corrected to 607,888.82 KgCO 2 eq, reducing total emissions to 231,832,588 KgCO 2 eq in scenario I. Scenarios II, III, and IV show further reductions in carbon sequestration from various plants, even reaching harmful total carbon emissions. Scenario V shows an increase in the absorption capacity of trees, which causes total carbon emissions to be corrected to -12,967,412 KgCO 2 eq. Scenario VI shows an increase in the carbon absorption capacity of trees, reducing total carbon emissions to 252,845,358 KgCO 2 eq. With this intervention, it is hoped that Al Kausar Boarding School can become a sustainable education with a lower carbon footprint."

Abstract

Over the past few decades, self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (SCUBA) diving has gained popularity globally. Efforts to explore new trails underwater have rapidly expanded recreational, technical, professional, and military diving opportunities. Decompression sickness (DCS) is an essential and complex health problem among divers, stemming from changes in environmental pressure during and after underwater travel. Understanding the various risk factors associated with DCS is critical in implementing safe diving practices. Medical professionals, regardless of specialization, need to be aware of the adverse effects of changes in exposure to environmental stresses on the human body. Decompression sickness (DCS) can occur quickly, immediately, or very mildly and is delayed. Divers with DCS can arrive late, far from the dive site, due to their varied presentation, slow start, and air travel after diving. Medical personnel must consider the previous days' activities and be aware of diving problems and disorders to take advantage of the opportunity to diagnose and treat such patients appropriately. Individual and environmental risk factors play a role in increasing the incidence of DCS in divers, including obesity, smoking, alcohol, anxiety disorders, comorbidities, previous injuries, cold water, duration, and depth of diving. A comprehensive understanding of these multifaceted risk elements is essential for divers and medical professionals. Armed with this knowledge, they can better assess potential risks, adopt proactive precautions, and ensure diver safety, ultimately reducing severe DCS incidents.

This study used purposive sampling techniques. In this study, were 30 items on the performance scale and 32 on the transformational leadership scale. Researchers used the Pearson Product Moment correlation method. This study says that both variables have a positive correlation. Performance and Transformational Leadership performed normality and linearity testing using IBM SPSS Statistics 25. These two variables get a correlation coefficient 0.209 with a significant value of 0.015 (P<0.05). The higher the performance, the higher the Transformational Leadership, and vice versa, the lower the performance, the lower the Transformational Leadership of a person.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of institutions in the implementation of the Centralized Domestic Wastewater Management System (SPALD-T) in Pekayon Village, Sukadiri Subdistrict, Tangerang Regency. The research method used is qualitative, with a descriptive approach. The data processing techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used in this research is interactive analysis, according to Miles and Huberman. In this study, the data credibility test was used to test the validity of the data. The data credibility test was carried out by triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the institutional effectiveness of regional apparatus organizations in Tangerang Regency is not yet effective. In terms of leadership, the Tangerang Regency Government has issued Tangerang Regent Regulation No. 80/2017 on Domestic Wastewater Management as a guideline for the implementation of SPALD-T. In terms of doctrine, the Tangerang District government's efforts to indoctrinate the community to actively participate in the implementation of SPALD-T in Pekayon Village are not optimal. Next, the program aspect has led to the fulfillment of community rights, which is also in accordance with the design that has been made, but many targets have not been achieved. Furthermore, the overall resources aspect is still lacking and cannot be utilized optimally. Then, in terms of internal structure, the Tangerang District Government's institutional strengthening is lacking because there is no organizational structure for the DPOs involved in SPALD-T implementation, and communication between DPOs is not good.
