Aim Indonesian Journal of Community Services is a journal that presents articles on the service activities of lecturers and practitioners. In addition, this journal also accepts research articles on the topics of social services, social welfare, and social development. Scope The main focus of articles that can be published in this journal include entrepreneurship, social, business, management, accounting, technology, husbandry, and health. IJCS not only accepts articles from within the country, but also from abroad.

<![CDATA[This article begins with the problem of developing strategies for increasing capacity and how to improve the knowledge and awareness of group members to increase the productivity of joint business balance. The implementation of the activity has taken place in stages, starting with lectures and open discussions with all members of the collaborative business group and field agricultural extension officers. Based on the results of the activities that have been carried out, the joint business group institutional development training, namely the application of concepts and techniques delivered in training, farmer groups cooperate in developing businesses while always following the recommendations of field agricultural extension officers assigned to each village in North Moramo district. To the village, sub-district, community, and provincial governments to always listen and pay attention to the needs in the context of developing the institutions of the joint business groups in each village, especially those in each town. And to the field agricultural extension officers to continue to establish a joint business group in increasing its institutional capacity. The main contribution to be achieved and expected in this activity is to make a positive contribution, especially in enriching the insights of the members of the joint business group and the agricultural extension officers of the field.]]>

<![CDATA[Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province (South Sulawesi), already has a Regional Regulation (Perda) on Child Worthy Districts. However, the implementation of this policy is still low because there are still several cases regarding violence and immoral acts against children. Macro-wise, this is also in line with the publication of the Child Protection Commission in 2020. There were 4734 cases of child complaints. This is because the implementation of the Child Protection Law Number 35 of 2014 is still lacking in terms of mentoring children. Therefore, a social institutional approach is needed to bridge between regulation and various child protection issues. This study focuses on using social groups in child protection in Maros. The method used is participatory discussion. The results of this service illustrate that, although the Maros Regional Government already has a tiered planning mechanism in the form of a Development Planning Deliberation starting from the village level as material for compiling a child protection program for Maros Regency as a whole. However, it seems less than optimal, because the government does not have sufficient ability to play its role as a catalyst for development. For this reason, further efforts are needed to increase the use of social groups in child protection in Kabupaten Maros. The social group serves as a channel to solve various problems related to child protection in Maros County. Therefore, existing social groups are empowered in the form of institutional strengthening and capacity building of available resources so that the quality of protection and welfare of children in the Maros Regency can be achieved.]]>

<![CDATA[The regular KKN program in 2022 in Lubuk Beringin Village wants to try to develop existing tourist villages by conducting several initiation programs as the beginning of the development of tourism villages. Several things are done to optimize natural tourism villages, especially household products in Lubuk Beringin Village. The results of activities in supporting the development of tourism villages in Lubuk Beringin such as nature tourism, culinary tourism, herbal tourism, and also souvenir centers. The programs carried out recently are initiation programs so it is necessary to optimize every aspect of support so that the Lubuk Beringin tourism village program becomes a tourist attraction that is in demand by domestic and foreign tourists. The initiation programs that have been carried out in Lubuk Beringin are Human Resources Training in English Practise, Training Training, and direct practice of digital marketing Interpreuner Training (Training in making dishes and culinary). The results of the implementation of the program received the enthusiasm of the residents and this is a positive start so there will be a development of a tourist village in Lubuk Beringin Village.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this community service activity is to conduct entrepreneurship training in the community to encourage people to have an independent life. This service activity was carried out in Lalowulo Village, Besulutu District, Konawe Regency. The implementation of this devotion is carried out in two stages; First counseling/training. In the first stage, the extension worker gives a lecture to the trainees. Extension workers/trainers encourage all participants to have high motivation for entrepreneurship. Furthermore, extension workers/training interact directly with citizenship to understand the problems faced in entrepreneurship. This service activity also utilizes the Focus Group Discussions method with various parties, especially with the local government, and business actors. This activity has also provided guidance to business groups in the community. The group of business groups is encouraged and trained to take advantage of the opportunities that exist to obtain the greatest profit. This activity is integrated with the Village Development Program in the area of service activities so that there is mutual support between the community and the Village Government.]]>

<![CDATA[The abundance of bamboo prompted both partners Sri Jeki and Bambu Apus to set up a bamboo craft business in Kendari city. As the business goes on, the demand for various bamboo works continues to increase. Both craftsmen experienced difficulties in meeting production targets. So far, craftsmen only use machetes to split, sharpen, and thin bamboo in their production activities. The solution offered in this service activity is to introduce and provide appropriate technology training for bamboo defenders to accelerate and increase the production of bamboo crafts. The method of this activity is to train craftsmen in using appropriate technology for bamboo defenders to accelerate and increase the production capacity of bamboo crafts. The results obtained from this service activity are that the craftsmen can use the right technology for bamboo splitting tools safely and quickly so that their productivity increases.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the success of empowering fishing communities in the coastal areas of Marusu District, Maros Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with a multisystemic approach model used to provide an overview of the research location. A qualitative descriptive research approach is used to thoroughly analyze the author's main ideas about the subject in the form of discourse and context of specificity. The results showed that the implementation of empowering fishing communities in the coastal areas of Marusu District, Maros Regency, was by making instruments that regulate the empowerment of fishing communities. This is done to be able to optimize the quality of the coastal environment covering social, economic, and cultural aspects. In addition, the strategy can create an atmosphere conducive to the implementation of development to provide access to various interests of fishing communities to optimize development in coastal areas.]]>

<![CDATA[This Community Service Program aims to support the accessibility of technology-based tourist attractions in the era of globalization. This is based on the conventional method used by the object of service in serving tourists who will go to Bokori Island. Conventional means relying solely on information from person to person about their business. This is certainly ineffective, especially entering Society 5.0. era, where the focus is not only on the technological component but also on the human. Therefore, the service team offers a solution in the form of making a digital-based ship rental application (website) and assistance in its use in the form of training. This website is useful not only to advertise community businesses but also Bokori island tourism. The website will be managed by an admin who is a representative of the Bajoe village community. The features contained in this application are Bokori Island Tourism info, crossing points, checking ship availability, boat rental, and ticket printing. The presence of this application is certainly very useful for tourists, especially those from outside Kendari, they can order tickets in advance of the time they want to visit Bokori island. The community service program was positively welcomed by the local community, especially the crossing business owners because they felt helped by the application made by the service team.]]>

<![CDATA[This Internal Community Service Program aims to increase self-confidence and be able to return to normal life in the community. For this reason, the service team carries out Trauma Healing activities in the form of consultations and simulations for Covid-19 victims. This was done considering the unstable condition of the Covid-19 victims who took 3 months in a period of trauma due to the disease caused by the Covid-19 Virus and the views of the community and the nuclear family environment who saw the victims of Covid-19 as a disgrace, especially until now. Through consultation and simulation methods, the service team will transfer knowledge and values to the victims of Covid-19 Adults and the Elderly with the help of media such as posters and materials in the form of power points. In this service activity, the team collaborates with partners, namely the Indonesian Multi Talenta Psychologist Foundation and the Bombana District Health Office. The service team will carry out Trauma Healing activities for Covid-19 victims through the Head of the Indonesian Multi Talented Psychologist Foundation and the Bombana District Health Office so that the role of partners starts from providing information to Covid-19 victims regarding this service activity. At the time of the activity later, partners also play a role in opening service activities and guiding discussion activities with participants. Through collaboration between the service team and partners, it is hoped that the objectives of this activity will be achieved.]]>

<![CDATA[Putrapinggan Village is a village that is included in the Pangandaran Regency area with abundant natural resources, one of its mainstay commodities is processed banana products in the form of banana chips and sales. The potential of processed banana products has not been optimally absorbed because it is only produced based on the request of the packaging center without being able to independently expand the market. The purpose of community service is to increase knowledge and skills regarding the diversification of processed banana products so that people know how to modify the product so that it is more diverse, able to last a long time, and provides added value. Methods in implementing this community service program include socialization of activities; Problem mapping; Organizing training by involving residents who use processed bananas; and Community assistance in the form of making banana processed products. The results of the service activities have achieved the goal of increasing insight into the diversification of banana processing and improving skills in making various banana products for higher selling values, including banana cakes, banana steamed cakes, banana cakes, and banana satay.]]>
