The results and findings of the study posed the evidence to suggest the significant of the inflation rate being the intervening variable within the regression model of the REITs investment return and the trading volume of the REITs investment, but the regression analysis failed to demonstrate the existence of the relationship between the two variables. With this, the outcome of the study had been concluded where the findings had provided the significant contribution to the development of the academic refenrece and drawing the relevance understanding towards the investment behavioural within the financial market in Malaysia.

Abstract

Legumes are important source of high-quality protein and oil, as well as other nutritious substances. The higher the content of these nutritious substances in a given legume the higher it’s quality. The mineral and proximate contents of the variety of legumes available in Mahuta town, were determined using standard procedures. The results showed that legume samples vary significantly (p < 0.05) in the chemical parameters evaluated. Soy beans and Ground nut had significantly high concentration of protein than Bambara nut. Equally, Bambara nut and Ground nut shows superiority in carbohydrate composition. Soy bean and Ground nut showed significantly higher concentration of mineral and abundance, while bambaranut had the lowest mineral and lipid contents. Hence, the selected legumes evaluated can serve as alternative protein sources with carbohydrate good minerals, and fibre.

The specific objectives were to identify the socio-economic characteristics of the respondents, estimate the cost and returns, and evaluate the efficiency of resource use. Primary data were used in the study. They were obtained through a questionnaire A total of 160 rice farmers engaged in rice production were investigated. The collated data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, budgetary analysis, and resource use efficiency models. Results from the analyzes revealed that most rice farmers were above productive age, experienced, and could read and write. Empirical results also revealed that rice production is viable with approximately 40% return on investment for every N1 invested in the rice farming enterprise. Resource use efficiency in the study area showed underutilization of seed, farm size, fertilizer, and agrochemicals. It is recommended that the farmers in the study area should be provided with farm input and improved technologies, which could enable them to become more efficient in rice production and further guarantee sustainable growth and food security.

Abstract

The present study entails a comparative analysis of the efficacy of polymyxin B and cefoperazone with sulbactam in the treatment of pneumonias induced by multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter strains. In the experimental group, the gender distribution was exactly the same (males: 21; females: 15). More co-morbidities exist in Group-II than in Group-I. In groups I and II, the mean ICU stays were respectively 11.86 days plus 2.06 SD and 11.47 days plus 1.61 SD. Day 2 post-therapy saw group mean CPIS at 7.781.48 and group-II at 7.081.23, respectively. The clinical response was seen in group-I (n=11/36) and group-II (n=24/36) patients in accordance with our operational criteria. Similar mortality rates applied to both groups. In line with our hypothesis, 31% (n=9/29) of group I survivors and 65.6% (n=21/32) of group II survivors both showed effectiveness (p=0.007).

Abstract

The Russia-Ukraine conflict beginning February 24, 2022 strongly impacted the power structure in Europe as the geopolitical crisis reshaped relations between the US, EU and Russia. This paper explores how the US reshaped Europe’s power balance by analyzing three strategic goals. First, establishing Russia as a permanent security threat to European countries’ structure by rejecting Russia’s NATO membership and promoting NATO’s eastward expansion despite promising no expansion post-Cold War. This helped the US strengthen dominance over the EU which needed NATO protection from Russia. Second, prompting the EU to reduce dependence on Russia’s gas and become the EU’s largest energy provider after Russia weaponized energy. This allowed the US to replace Russia’s role in Europe’s energy security. Third, containing President Putin’s ambitions to restore Russia’s superpower status through sanctions weakening its economy and military aid to Ukraine. Research methodology included qualitative analysis of secondary sources like government data and scholarly articles. Key findings were that the US succeeded in its goals, using the conflict to weaken Russia and increase influence over the EU. However, consequences included undermining international rules restraining major powers and destabilizing Europe’s long-term security architecture established post-WWII. Overall, the paper demonstrates how major powers utilize conflicts to reshape regional power dynamics aligned with their interests, despite ensuing instability.

Results of research on the effectiveness of using Attendan cefingerprints The discipline of ASN and non-ASN employees in the Pondokgede District Education Service Unit is measured through indicators measuring program effectiveness including target achievement, adaptability, job satisfaction and responsibility. Based ontarget achievement, where the implementation of fingerprint attendance is a government target that has been well realized and when implemented in the Pondokgede District Education Service Unit had a quite good impact on improving employee discipline and performance. Second, the ability to adapt, at the beginning of implementation there were problems, one of the factors was that employees had not adapted to the on-time arrival and departure times according to the rules given by the Mayor of Bekasi. Third, job satisfaction, when fingerprint attendance was implemented, increased, which was supported by no TPP (Additional Employee Income) deductions for ASN and no salary/income deductions for Non-ASN if they attended and worked optimally. Fourth responsibility, since the implementation of fingerprint attendance, ASN and non-ASN employees in the Pondogede District Education Service Unit are quite good because they have their respective responsibilities both in terms of attendance and reporting the results of their performance.
