Abstract

The paper focuses on the use of mother tongue as a medium of instruction at pre-primary and primary levels of education is very vital for educational development of our children.  Researches have shown that the child learns better and quicker his mother tongue is used in instruction than using a foreign language (English). This paper discusses the provision made by national policy on education (NPE) on the relevance and importance of mother tongue in education. It also highlights the benefit of mother tongue as a medium of instruction at both pr-primary and primary levels. In addition, the challenges of implementation of mother tongue education are not left un discussed, the effective way to the    implementation of mother tongue education in Nigeria, finally followed by the conclusion.

Abstract

Qualitative research is renowned for its ability to investigate intricate scenarios and produce in-depth insights, and it is especially well-suited when human subjects are involved. Consequently, it has experienced a surge in popularity within the field of built environmental research. Researchers may encounter inherent complexities when employing qualitative research techniques. In response to these challenges, this working paper seeks to comprehensively examine the matter by delving into relevant issues, including the distinctive characteristics of research, research methodologies encompassing research philosophies, the rationale behind research decisions, and data treatment at the fundamental level. The final segment of this discourse revisits the critical issue of ensuring the credibility of research findings. The objective of this working paper's discussion is to serve as a source of inspiration for students and researchers considering the adoption of qualitative methods in their research endeavors or who are currently utilizing them. It is intended to equip them with a robust understanding of these pertinent aspects, enabling them to leverage the insights presented here for the successful execution of their research projects.

Abstract

The paper meticulously examines the challenges and profound impact of the broadcasting system in Nigeria, conducting a comprehensive analysis of various broadcasting bodies. Employing a survey research method, the study embraces a sample size of 150, effectively representing the study's population. Out of the 150 questionnaires distributed, an impressive 93.3% response rate was achieved, with 140 questionnaires returned. The study underscores that major regulatory approaches, including licensing, sanctioning, arbitrating, and monitoring, play a pivotal role. The findings highlight the crucial role of regulation as a tool wielded by society to scrutinize media content and practices, with the political system shaping the trajectory of these regulations. In conclusion, the paper advocates for a review of the Nigerian Broadcasting Code, emphasizing the imperative of an independent regulatory body. Such a move is seen as essential for fostering pluralism and nurturing healthy competition within the industry.

By examining the impact of aging on economic well-being, the study delves into the theoretical foundations and practical implementations of universal social pension programs globally. It explores the dynamic interplay between financial constraints and dignified aging, considering aspects such as healthcare access, social participation, and overall well-being. A critical component of the research involves assessing the impact of aging on financial security, evaluating the relationship between financial security and dignified aging, identifying opportunities for improving universal social pension programs and providing recommendations for policy and practice. This research contributes valuable insights to the academic discourse on aging and social welfare, fostering a deeper understanding of the complexities inherent in ensuring dignified aging. The findings are anticipated to inform policy decisions, shape interventions, and contribute to the ongoing global dialogue on creating inclusive environments that prioritize the well-being and dignity of the aging population.

Abstract

Our study aims to examine the role of Smart Human Resource Management (HRM) in the development of Bengaluru Smart City. The objectives of the study are twofold: first, to understand how Smart HRM can contribute to the overall success and development of the city, and second, to analyse the positive and negative impact of smart HRM in Bengaluru Smart City. The research methodology for this study will involve a review of literature on smart HRM and its impact on various HR processes such as recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and training and development. The scope of work in this study will involve conducting surveys and interviews with HR professionals in Bengaluru to understand the current state of smart HRM practices in the city and its impact on employee engagement and retention. The findings of this study will provide valuable insights into the role of smart HRM in the development of a smart city and its potential impact on the workforce. As a part of conclusion of our study we say that Smart HRM has the potential to greatly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of human resource management in Bengaluru Smart City Development initiative, by utilizing technology to automate, streamline HR processes, providing real-time data and analytics, and improving employee engagement and satisfaction.

Abstract

The Teacher Empowerment Program (PPGP) is a professional development initiative through education, training, and mentoring that focuses on instructional leadership to promote holistic growth and active, proactive participation of students. The program aims to actively develop educators to implement student-centered learning. This qualitative research employs a narrative approach. The research results show positive behavioral changes in teacher mover after completing PPGP, notably impacting the improvement of classroom learning quality and the cultivation of a learning culture among teachers within the school ecosystem. Although some schools have not fully optimized the growth of a learning culture among their teachers, they are moving in the right direction. Challenges and obstacles are inherent in transformation efforts, reinforcing the appropriateness of the Ministry of Education and Culture's decision to appoint Teacher Empowerment Program participants as school leaders. This move strengthens the force for change and minimizes resistance to or rejection of change.

Abstract

The study explores the chemical composition of neem seed oil, highlighting its potential for commercial biodiesel production and various industrial applications. The oil, with a liquid state, pale greenish-yellow color, and pleasant odor, yielded 32.1%, surpassing industrially extracted oils like soybean and cottonseed. Factors influencing its composition include seasonal variations, geographical origin, genetic disparities, growth stages, plant segments, and postharvest processing. Despite these, neem seeds meet the required oil content percentage for large-scale industrial biodiesel production. However, challenges like high free fatty acid content and elevated acid values necessitate acid esterification before alkaline transesterification, potentially increasing production costs. The study also highlights the importance of appropriate seed processing practices to optimize oil yield and quality.

Abstract

TThe study's objective was to map the total plate count (TPC), pH, lactic acid, and antibiotic residues, including tetracycline, in broiler meat from the Patrang sub-district in the Jember district. The study employed a descriptive case study methodology and employed ANOVA and the BNT test for data analysis. Significant effects on lactic acid, pH, and microbiological parameters were discovered by the research. Three conventional RPAs did not contain any traces of the antibiotic tetracycline. The investigation came to the conclusion that SNI guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for chicken slaughter were met by the level of antibiotics, lactic acid, pH, TPC, and tetracycline in RPA in Jember City's Patrang environment.

Abstract

The writing of hadith in this cross-stream perspective historical review is the result of literature research, which is a method obtained by collecting data and information sourced from literature. The process involves a series of procedures for collecting data from library sources which are then processed from various stages of analysis, and ultimately produce research findings. The characteristics of the Hadith of the Prophet's period of Revelation revealed by Allah were explained by the Prophet through his words, deeds, and taqrir. Characteristics of the Hadith period Muslim companions can directly obtain hadith from the Prophet as a source of hadith. The characteristics of hadiths from the tabi period were collected and discarded through talaqqi with the companions then they recorded what was gained from the meeting. Characteristics of Hadith period Tabi' at-Tabi'in Group existing hadiths according to the field of discussion. Three elements must be met in order to be called a hadith narrative. The three elements are (1) the activity of receiving hadith (al-tahammul), (2) the re-delivery of hadith, and (al-ada') (3) the mention of a series of narrators at the time of the hadith (al-isnad). The history of the development of hadith is a period or period that has been passed by hadith since the moment of its birth and grew in the introduction, appreciation, and practice of the ummah from generation to generation.
