Abstract

The review paper focuses on the most important digital technologies that are used in health care, as well as the difficulties, advantages, and prospective prospects for the future that are linked with the inclusion of digital tools into clinical learning. Within the context of this rapidly evolving digital age, it is of the highest significance for students, medical educators, and training organizations to keep their understanding of the breadth, promise, difficulties, and limitations of digital technologies up to date. Digital health studies aim to realize the promise of digital technologies and understand their feasibility and effects. Through a critical examination of the most famous interdisciplinary digital health publications, this study argues that the digital health field has not really engaged with its main topic, technology. The intricacies of healthcare environments, including different technologies, existing procedures, and people, are ignored in research on digital technologies. The study findings show that health literature focuses on digital technology processing and its effects on digital health research approaches that emphasize technology and context. It claims that digital health's full potential requires multidisciplinary research on healthcare systems, informational demands, and digital technology.

Abstract

The business atmosphere is increasingly becoming competitive due to the reality of global dynamics. Thus, firms especially, the manufacturing sub-sector need to adopt transformation strategies to enable them compete favorably. This study titled Business transformation and Performance of the Manufacturing Firms in Nigeria is written to examine the effect of business transformation on performance of manufacturing sub-sector in North-Central Nigeria. The population of the study was 1404 spread across the selected manufacturing firms in Nigeria. However, due to the fact that the population is large the researcher utilized the Godden sample size statistical technique to reach 302 respondents, however, only 284 respondents completed and returned their questionnaire which shows a retrieval rate of 94%. More so, the study applied research survey design, and the statistical tools applied comprised descriptive and parametric statistics. More so, the hypothesis was tested using simple linear regression analysis. The findings revealed that there is a significant positive relationship between Technological Resource application and First Pass Yield (r =.939, p-value <0.05. In view of the finding, the study concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between Business transformation and Performance of manufacturing firms in Nigeria. Anchored on the finding the study recommends that a Business Transformation techniques should be improved and periodic review be carried out in order to sustain and improve  performance.

Abstract

The transportation model is a linear programming model targeting at minimization of transportation cost for any firm. However, it is critical to examine how effective it can be applied to enable firms   pursue its immediate and strategic objectives. This study on transportation model is carried out to examine the practical application of transportation model in Otebu Investment limited Idah, Kogi State. The study was induced by the curiosity to ascertain the extent in which the transportation model as a branch of linear programming model is being applied by the firm and how this model has been able to enhance the performance through cost minimization. The study empirically reached both the Management, senior and junior employees of the enterprise through field descriptive survey research and finding revealed that the application of transportation model of linear programming have been able to enhance the performance of the firm hence considering the fact that there is a link between cost minimization and revenue drive of the Firms this model should be consistently adopted so as to be able to continuously minimize transportation cost.

Abstract

This research delves into Anita Desai's literary exploration of the feminine identity crisis, examining how her novels depict women's battles against societal and familial restrictions. Through an intersectional feminist perspective, Desai's works, including Fire on the Mountain, Cry the Peacock, and Voices in the City, are analyzed to reveal the enduring perception of women's inferiority and their roles as sacrificial figures within the family structure. Employing a descriptive methodology and drawing from primary sources and socio-psychological frameworks, this study interprets Desai's portrayal of women's struggles for autonomy amidst societal pressures. Through thematic exploration and character analysis, it uncovers the nuances of female experiences, their quest for identity, and the entrenched influence of patriarchal norms. Ultimately, the research illuminates Desai's depiction of women's resilience and their journey toward emancipation in the face of systemic oppression.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a leading cause of death worldwide, killing about 1.5 million people annually. However, over 3 million TB cases are lost annually, not diagnosed or diagnosed but not informed. Pulmonary tuberculosis attacks the parenchyma of the lungs. This research aimed to analyze the TB case detection process at Gleno Health Centre and Letefoho Health Centre using the Analytic Observational method with a Transversal Approach (Cros-sectional). The population involved was all health personnel working at the Gleno Health Centre. The findings showed a significant association between the screening process for detecting tuberculosis cases in the community at Gleno Community Health Centre, Letefoho Community Health Centre, and the screening process for detecting tuberculosis cases in the laboratory at these health centers. There was also a significant association between the screening process for detecting tuberculosis cases in the community at Letefoho Community Health Centre and the screening process for detecting tuberculosis cases in the laboratory at Letefoho Community Health Centre. The research found significant effectiveness in detecting TB cases before and after screening.

Abstract

This research aims to increase the economic value of chicken meat by diversifying processed products, such as burgers. The study focuses on finding the right concentration ratio between white glutinous rice flour and chitosan to produce high-quality chicken meat burgers. The research used factorial RAL and analyzed parameters such as pH, WHC, color, water content, protein content, fat content, micro-element content (calcium and phosphor), and reducing sugar. Results showed that the moisture content of chicken burgers using white sticky rice was lower, while chitosan had a lower water content. The color of burgers using white sticky rice was reddish and greenish, while chitosan had a lower reduction sugar. Ca content was also lower, while phosphorus levels were higher in chitosan burgers. The WHC ranged from 18.869 - 48.7573 for chitosan burgers and 25.023 - 41, 2855 for chitosan burgers.
