Abstract

This scholarly article critically evaluates the impact of technology, with a particular focus on online education, on students' morals and character. The research is designed to understand how online education, due to technological development, affects students' morals and character and to seek strategies to strengthen these aspects. The research methodology involved a comprehensive literature review, with data collected from various journals and the author's observation of the online education phenomenon. The results show that online education brings new challenges for students, including teachers' need for more direct guidance and the monotony of learning methods. This has an impact on the decline of students' morale and character. This article provides new insights into how technology affects students' morale and character, particularly online education. The study also highlights the importance of character and ethics education in the current education system and how online education can be customised to strengthen these aspects. In modern education, which is increasingly influenced by technology, this study contributes to understanding the challenges and opportunities posed by online education. As such, this article serves as a valuable resource for educators, researchers, and policymakers who seek to maximise the potential of online education while minimising its negative impact on students' morals and character

Abstract

This research describes the implementation of an independent curriculum at SMPN 3 Pamekasan, with special emphasis on Islamic religious education subjects. The main objective of this research is to describe and understand how the independent curriculum is implemented in the context of Islamic religious education. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study as the main method. Data were collected through various techniques, including observation, interviews, and documentation, from multiple sources such as the principal, vice principal for curriculum, teachers, and students. Data were analysed using an interactive model and validated using various techniques. The results show that implementing the self-directed curriculum involves extracurricular Pancasila learner profile-strengthening projects and extracurricular. The self-contained curriculum provides flexible, creative, and meaningful learning experiences and maintains the Pancasila learner profile. It also provides opportunities for students to develop their academic and non-academic potential. This research offers new insights into how a self-contained curriculum can be implemented in Islamic religious education and how it can positively impact students, teachers, and schools. However, it also shows that successful implementation requires support, commitment, and further research.

Abstract

This research explores the effectiveness of the mind mapping method in improving students' learning outcomes at Madrasah Diniyah LPI MAKTUBA Palduding Plak-Pak Pegantenan Pamekasan. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study collected primary and secondary data to obtain an accurate and systematic description of the phenomenon under study. The results showed that the mind mapping method effectively improves student learning outcomes and can be applied in various learning contexts. However, this study has limitations, including focusing on one educational institution and using qualitative methods. For further research, exploring how the Mind Mapping method can be applied in teaching specific subjects or customised for students with special needs is recommended. This research makes an essential contribution to the field of education by demonstrating the potential of the mind-mapping method as a practical learning tool.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of traditional principles in the curriculum of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 2 Pamekasan. In order to achieve this goal, this research utilizes a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques involve a series of procedures that include interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study make a significant contribution in designing a future hybrid education model. This model is rooted in traditional values, yet remains relevant to the demands of modern times. Thus, this research proves that modern education and traditional values can go hand in hand. This allows the younger generation to understand and appreciate their cultural heritage, while remaining prepared for the challenges of the future. This research is expected to provide new and valuable insights for educational practitioners and researchers in the same field. As such, this study has the potential to enrich academic literature and educational practice.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the potential use of AI technology in Islamic education learning and provide a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with AI integration in this context. This research uses a systematic literature review to investigate the implementation and challenges of AI in Islamic Studies teaching. A literature search was conducted in several databases, including Scopus, ERIC, and Google Scholar. Data retrieved from the selected studies were thematically analyzed to identify important patterns, similarities, and differences among the studies. This research led to the findings: AI has the potential to assist in accelerating student development and making teaching more satisfying. In addition, teachers can also use AI to improve their teaching practice and professional experience. However, challenges, such as ethical considerations and data privacy, must be addressed carefully. This research is expected to contribute to understanding the implementation of AI in Islamic Studies teaching, particularly from a sociocultural perspective. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for educational practitioners and researchers in this field. In addition, this research can also help improve the understanding and practice of religious values in daily life.
