The Journal of Indonesian Tourism and Policy Studies (JITPS) covers tourism studies, recreation studies and policies related to their development in Indonesia. The expected research can also include studies on Indonesian tourism related to social, cultural, economic, political, management, health, environmental, technology, policy, etc. issues. The aim is to achieve the objectives of the Indonesian Journal of Tourism and Policy Studies, namely as a portal and instrument for the development of tourism science in Indonesia from various aspects and perspectives. Therefore, not only as paper-based-field-research, this journal will become a portal for tourism implementation studies and related literature reviews.

Abstract

The purpose of this journal is to discuss (1) reservation process of sailing trip to Komodo Island (2) and to know what facilities, rights and obligations given Kakabantrip for tourists who follow sailing tour of komodo. Tourist Reservation Process conducted by Kakabantrip all of them aims to provide security and comfort to tourists. With the reservation process made by Kakabantrip who sending personal data of tourists, Kakabantrip can know the characteristics and needs of tourists so that the tourists can get the best service from Kakabantrip. The method used in the manufacture and writing of this Final assigmment is a descriptive method through the written or oral words of the people and the behavior observed. The author also uses the method of observation is through field work practices conducted by the author at Kakabantrip Tour And Travel Service.

Abstract

The journal is to show the readers about the process of determining talents of an event, which is the Asian Games Torch Relay that will be held from the 17th of july to 18th of August 2018 with seven routes of places to go to. Type of this research is qualitative and descriptive interpretive. Data were collected by interviewing officials of the company that selectted the talents for the event; and from the writer’s experience on helping in the process of it, as well as from the internal documents of the company. The result shows that in the process of finding the right talents needs to get through some steps which are, reading the manual, brainstorming, discussing, and then making sure if the candidates are willing to fill in for this event. The writer also concludes that how to decrease the candidates is by picking which ones fit to the circumstances best based on the bidder.

Abstract

The focus of this study is about Promotional Mix "Halal Tour Packages of South Korea" on Cheria Halal Holiday. The purpose of this study is to know promotional mix activities on Cheria Halal Holiday in marketing "Halal Tour Packages of South Korea" and their obstacles. South Korea became one of the countries that began to develop halal tourism. This is an opportunity for Cheria Halal Holiday to promote South Korea's halal tour packages. In this study using Qualitative Descriptive method by interviewing with resource person and direct observation at Cheria Halal Holiday office. The concepts used in writing are Tourism, Halal Tourism, Tourism Promotion, and Tourism Promotion Mix. Promotion mix is very important to support the sales activities of Cheria Halal Holiday’s packages, for example Halal Tour Packages of South Korea. Based on the observations, Cheria Halal Holiday has done the promotion mix accordance with the concept. Cheria is considered to be able to market South Korea halal tour package products well although still encountered some obstacles such as expensive price. However this does not diminish the interest of the community because of the halal tourist services that become the hallmarks of this product.

Abstract

The focus of this study is to discuss about the service quality of concierge at DoubleTree By Hilton Jakarta - Diponegoro on running the operational activities and giving the excellent service to the guest related to five dimensions of service quality. This research is descriptive research. The data were collected by means of questionnaire distribution to 30 hotel guest. The researcher suggests that the amount of concierge equipment availability to assisting operational activities must be added more and the concerness of team member concierge to every guest must be improved not only to create engagement but also to give special attention to the guest so they feel cared for during their stay in the hotel.

Abstract

This paper describes the analysis of Indonesian tourism marketing process in the Repubic of Korea. The analysis started from the preparation process up till the implementation process; such as product instrument, instrument distribution, promotion instrument, public relations, and evaluation. It is revealed the obstacles of tourism marketing process the which has been done. Those are the lack of human resources, lack of marketing funds, and closed Korea Busan Indonesia Center. It also Explains the strategy of tourism marketing to increase of the number of Korean tourists to visit the country. Qualitative research was conducted in this final paper. The result of analysis shows that Indonesian tourism marketing in the Republic of Korea has not been done well because of the lack of human resources and the lack of the marketing funds.

Abstract

This Study discusses a case study of the participants registration from two events managed by PT. Pactoconvex Niagatama, There are Dasabakti PT. SMI 2019 event that used the manual registration system, and the Egmont Group Meetings 2019 Event that used online registration system. The results of this case study are that the online registration system has better and safer in handling participants data and more efficient than the manual registration system. In addition, the author also wrote about the function of registration in an event and which registration methods are commonly used at an event.

Abstract

Documentation is an important thing in a company. One of the most influential documentation is documentation in the form of videography. The purpose of this study was to find out how the quality of videography as a form of documentation made by PT Mediatama Binakreasi at the 2019 Inacraft Exhibition. This research is a collection of qualitative data, methods of collecting observation data, and interviews with Moch Sobri as multimedia designers from PT Mediatama Binakreasi and Rizky as videographer from Numoto Photo. The results of this study provide knowledge that videography as a form of documentation made for the 2019 Inacraft Exhibition is quite good and satisfying. The data created and the video editing process are all compiled through by the existing documentation team.

Abstract

This task of the final work consists of analysis of Indonesia tourism marketing process for the Thousand Islands, started from the planning step up till the actuating step. In this task of final work IS ALSO Described the obstacles in the tourism marketing process has been done and roomates Also describes the right steps of tourism marketing to increase of the number of tourist. This task of the final work is arranged by counting the data analysis. The result of analysis shows that Indonesia tourism marketing for the Thousand Islands has not been done well cause of the lackness of tourism human resources.
