Abstract

The aim of this research is analyze the influence partially or simultaneously between corporate governance measured with proportion of Independent Commissioners (KI) and costs of financial, measured by ratio of Profit Margin (PM), Return on Equity (ROE), Price to Book value (PBV) and Price to Earning Ratio (PER) to return. As well as analyzing the variables the dominant influence on the company under common back ILQ-45 in BEI. Data used from official sites of BEI, www.idx.com. Sample election is LQ-45 in the period 2010 - 2014. The research methods use multiple linear regression analysis. Correlation coefficient values indicate a strong enough relationship. Results of regression analysis showed that operates simultaneously, KI, PM, ROE, PER and PBV against return under common significant influence. Partially, only variables KI and PBV have the significant effect against return under common control. While variable PM, ROE and PER have no effect. The Results The result showed that the company management need to increase the role of the Independent Commissioner.Keywords: return, independent commisioner, financial ratios.

Abstract

Labor is one of the important factors that should be considered by the company in order to achieve objectives. Therefore in this case the company is required to manage resources in a planned manner. The research was conducted at PT. PLN (Persero) Area Bekasi to determine the relationship of emotional intelligence and motivation on employee performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of emotional intelligence and employee performance, labor relations and employee motivation, as well as the relationship of emotional intelligence and motivation to work with employees performance in PT. PLN (Persero) Area Bekasi. This research is descriptive-correlation with a sample of 44 employees and the data were analyzed using Spearman Rank analysis and correlation. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and employee performance PT. PLN (Persero) Area Bekasi. This is indicated by the obtained t (6.572) is greater than t table (2.018). (2) there is a significant relationship between motivation and performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Area Bekasi. This is indicated by the obtained t (6.045) is greater than t table (2.018). (3) there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and motivation on employee performance PT. PLN (Persero) Area Bekasi. This is indicated by the acquired Fhitung (41.765) is greater than F table (3,226). Based on the results, it can be concluded that the variables are strong and be positive. But from the descriptive respondents by filling the questionnaire indicators were rated the lowest.Keywords: motivation, performance, emotional intelligence

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the level of satisfaction of the household type in Griya Permata Cisoka Tangerang toward building attributes based on performance and interest. Respondent were selected using formula slovin, a population of 743 household, while respondents consisted of 88 families. Data have been collected were analyzed using performace importance and cartesian diagram. The research analyzed using 12 attributes are available on the five dimensions of Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Emphaty. Satisfaction research result of the household type 22 in Griya Permata Cisoka Tangerang to attribute indicates the cartesian diagram mostly in the B quadrant in which the performance of the company has been in accordance with the desire of residents have said to be very satisfied. Abstract

There is not a general theory capable of explaining how the defense budget should be formulated. However, through the theory of economic behavior, estimation can be performed. The defense budget is generally a complex tug of war between the political, economic, social, military, and technology. This study is a qualitative research by reviewing a variety of literature dealing with the problem of motivation of state defense budget. Despite many obstacles, the estimate remains to be done, due to the projected budget in the long term, is an important instrument for a wide range of organizations plan to set goals and overcome the various problems that exist now and in the future. It also estimates the military budget is essential for economic operators, the parties concerned with all economic activity because the rise and fall of the military budget in general have an impact on the economy.

Abstract

In this globalization era competition among universities to attract students getting tougher. It is therefore universities should further strenghten its marketing strategy, so that they can attract new students to decide to study in the Faculty of Economics, Christian University of Indonesia, Jakarta. This study aims to determine what factors are influencing numbers students in choosing education at Faculty of Economics, Christian University of Indonesia, Jakarta. The number of samples used in this study were 86 people who are students at the Faculty of Economics, Christian University of Indonesia, Jakarta. Sampling performed by the method of proportionate random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires. Variables Measurement with Likert scale in 5 (five) scale and analysis with Multiple Reggression with dummy variable. The result shows that factors must consider by the student when decided the Economy Faculty of University of Indonesia, Jakarta, are product, cost, promotion, process, people, physical evidence.Keywords: product, cost, promotion,process, people, physical evidence.

Abstract

This research aims is to determine the effect of good corporate governance (GCG) as measured by the commissioners (meeting activity), the board of directors, independent board and audit committee on the financial performance of banks as measured by return on assets (ROA). Data are obtained from secondary data in the form of annual reports and company GCG Report for the period 2012-2015 contained in www.idx.co.id. Sampling using purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate simultaneous testing with a significance level of 0.030 <0.05 states that the board of commissioners (meeting activity), the board of directors, independent board and audit committee have a significant effect on the financial performance listed on the Stock Exchange. Partially board of directors and have significant influence with a significant level of thitung 2.027> 1.98 ttabel. Commissioners (meeting activity) does not affect the level of singnifikan of the t (1.176) <t table (1.98) on financial performance. Independent board does not affect the show singnifikan level of thitung (-0.567) <t table (1.98) on financial performance. The audit committee does not affect the show singnifikan level of the t (1.580) <t table (1.98) on financial performance. In improving the financial performance, the company should use four variables of good corporate governance (GCG) in order to synergize in implementing policies that have been defined.Keywords: Board of Commissioners (meeting activity), the board of director, independent board and audit committee

Abstract

This study was aimed at finding out whether there is a significant effect of internal control system, compensation, and information asymmetry on accounting fraud. This study was conducted at Bank DKI in Central Jakarta. This study belonged to quantitative research. The data source was primary data source. The data collection techniques used were questionnaire distributed. The respondents were group internal audit employees. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, data quality testing, classical assumption testing, and multiple linear regression analysis using Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) 23. The results showed that (1) effective on internal control system has a significant positive effect on accounting fraud, (2) compensation does not a have a significant effect on accounting fraud, and (3) information asymmetry does not have a significant effect on accounting fraud.Key word : Effective on Internal Control System, Compensation, Information Asymetry, Accounting Fraud.

Abstract

Trading companies play a major role in world economic activity. Entry and exit of goods, raises revenues and expenditures of money occurred. If you do not want to lose market share in the competitive trade, is the basis for an accountant to be ready and have the initiative in practice what is learned during bench formal. Theory education complex and in practice in the world of work more flexible and easier to apply. But a lot of difference between theory and practice that companies use a method that is more simple, effective and efficient. Findings are compared later writers get into new things that can be learned. When seeing things that do not fit with the theory learned, became something new to the author learned as stock in later day. Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the effect of company’s age, company’s size, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA) and Earning Per Share (EPS). Testing hypotheses are conducted using multiple regression models with observation from 35 sample IPO in service trade and investment companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2008-2016. The empirical result show that company’s age and DER have negative significant effect on underpricing level. However company’s size, ROa and EPS have no significant effect on underpricing level.Keywords : IPO, Underpricing, company’s age, company’s size, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA), and Earning Per Share (EPS).

Abstract

This study aims to compare the Economic Order Quantity and Just In Time in determining the efficiency of raw material cost, and determine which method is best to apply to PT. Tricitra Agri Perdana when viewed from the efficiency of raw material cost. Analytical tools used in this research are the methods of EOQ and JIT. Data obtained from the interviews with staff who deals with the purchase of raw materials, and storage supplies at PT. Tricitra Agri Prime. The research results showed that PT. Tricitra Agri Prime could depress spending or expenses at the company so that the company's costs haven't really run well due to JIT methods still provide supplies of raw materials.Keywords: system economic order quantity and just in time, perbandingan EOQ dan JIT.
