Abstract

The BNN City Health Clinic in Banjarmasin requires an effective and efficient system to manage cash receipt records to ensure smooth operations and optimal health services. In this research, the author employs a qualitative method using both qualitative and quantitative data, with data collection methods including interviews, observations, and literature studies. The author highlights the issue of manual cash receipt recording, which not only reduces effectiveness and efficiency but also increases the likelihood of errors. The author recommends the immediate design and implementation of an accounting information system specifically designed for the purpose of recording cash receipts. This system must be able to accurately record every transaction, issue payment receipts, and generate the necessary financial reports. Additionally, we must implement the segregation of duties in the cash receipt process to mitigate the risk of errors and fraud. It is also important to implement strict internal controls to ensure transaction accuracy and auditability.

Abstract

The cassava tillage machine has a construction design for the frame, plowshares and wheels. In the frame design, the dimensions are ± 1.5 meters long, ± 1 meter wide and ± ½ meter high. For the plowshare design, there is a plowshare size, namely a height of 40 cm, a plowshare width of 38 cm and an angle of ± 35°. And the wheels are made from 16 ring rims with additional outer fins on 40 x 40 mm steel angled profile rims with a thickness of 2 mm. This machine uses a transmission system, namely two transmissions including (pulley with V-belt) and (sprocket with chain) on two shafts that connect each other to rotate the shaft so that the wheels rotate. This machine's transmission uses a type B small pulley with a diameter of 72 mm, a type B large pulley with a diameter of 203.2 mm, a small 420 gear with 14 teeth, and a large 420 gear with 42 teeth. For the V belt, type A belt is available with size 51 inches.

Abstract

The meme coin ecosystem on the Solana blockchain is showing rapid growth in 2024, thanks to its superior blockchain technology and strong community support. Meme coin projects such as BONK, and DOGWIFHAT have leveraged these advantages to thrive in the Solana ecosystem. This study aims to build a prediction model for the price movement of meme coin cryptocurrencies in the Solana ecosystem using the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method, with Adam optimization. Historical meme coin price data is taken as the research dataset, and the model is trained using LSTM with several epoch variations to obtain the best results. The model is evaluated using Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The experimental results show that the LSTM model with Adam optimization can provide fairly accurate predictions, with the best performance at epoch 75 where the model successfully achieves a balance between training and testing data performance, without experiencing overfitting. This study provides valuable insights for investors, developers, and policymakers into the dynamics of the meme coin ecosystem on Solana and its potential use in the development of blockchain technology. Abstract

Predicting customer Churn is of principal importance for many businesses, as it directly influences the continued utilization of company products by consumers and has a significant impact on company’s financial health and sustainability. However, accurately forecasting customer attrition within the telecommunications sector presents considerable challenges. In response to this need, we propose a novel and highly accurate churn prediction model utilizing a Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) architecture. Our methodology begins with thorough data preprocessing, followed by the application of MLP to predict customer Churn. By employing the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) and iterative balancing, our proposed model has demonstrated an accuracy improvement of at least 5%, alongside a minimum 5% increase in the F1-score, when compared to existing state-of-the-art algorithms on the widely recognized Telco-Customer-Churn dataset. This research not only expands the opportunities for enhancing the interpretability of predictive models but also fosters a deeper understanding of Churn prediction mechanisms. Ultimately, these advancements contribute to the commercial sustainability and financial stability of telecommunications companies by facilitating more informed decision-making processes regarding customer retention strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of return on equity and debt to asset ratio on financial distress. The research method used is an associative descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population in this research is the Properties and Real Estate subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2023 period. The sample for this research was determined using a Purposive Sampling technique and obtained 4 companies in the Properties and Real Estate subsector with an observation period of nine years to obtain 36 sample data. Hypothesis testing in this research uses panel data regression analysis using the E-Views 12 program and the confidence level used is 5%. The results of this research show that simultaneously return on equity and debt to asset ratio have a significant effect on financial distress with a significance of 0.0000 < 0.05 and f-count > f-table (34.14013 > 3.327654499) and the coefficient of determination using Adjusted R-Squared is equal to 61.73% while the remaining 65.44% was influenced by other variables not examined in this research. Meanwhile, partially return on equity has a significant positive effect on financial distress with a significance of 0.0018 < 0.05 and t-count > t-table (3.387986 < 2.04227), debt to asset ratio has a significant negative effect on financial distress with a significance of 0.0004 < 0.05 and t-count > t-table (|-3.912824| > 2.04227).

Abstract

Using the multi-objective optimization method based on ratio analysis (MOORA), the purpose of this research is to develop a decision support system that will help the selection process of permanent employees at PT XYZ. In order to improve the productivity and operational efficiency of the company, a proper employee selection process is essential. Nonetheless, many factors influence the decision taken, which is often subjective. Therefore, a systematic approach is needed to help managers assess and select potential employees based on predefined standards. The MOORA method was chosen because it is able to provide optimal solutions for a variety of different criteria. The identification of employee selection criteria, the collection of employee candidate data, and the use of the MOORA method to generate employee candidate rankings are all actions performed in this study. The criteria used include work experience, education The purpose of this research is to create a system that supports the process, skills, and attitudes in decision making. The results of this system show that MOORA has the ability to provide more objective and transparent recommendations in the employee selection process than conventional methods.  The results of the analysis show that this system helps decision making and increases managers' confidence in choosing employees who match the company's needs. PT XYZ hopes to use this decision support system to reduce errors in the employee selection process and help achieve the company's strategic goals. It is hoped that this research will help the process of developing decision support systems in the field of human resources.

Abstract

The insurance services industry, as a trust-based business, is still considered not to have fully gained the trust of its customers, with decreasing customer loyalty in purchasing insurance products, especially traditional life insurance. The phenomenon observed in the research location indicates that customer trust in traditional life insurance products remains low, and the company’s commitment to providing product benefits is not yet optimal. This study aims to examine the influence of company commitment on customer loyalty through customer trust. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study consist of all customers holding traditional life insurance products in South Tangerang City, totaling 100 respondents, with a sampling technique using a saturated sample method. Research data were obtained from questionnaire responses and analyzed using SEM analysis methods with the assistance of Lisrel software. The study results indicate that (1) Company commitment has an effect on customer trust, (2) Customer trust influences customer loyalty, and (3) Company commitment affects customer loyalty through customer trust.
