Abstract

study entitled visualization of construction workers in expression photography. The author realizes that the stigma of construction workers is still very attached to the community, this has made the promotion of construction workers as a visualization of construction workers in expression photography. The creation of this work aims to broaden students' knowledge of expression photography. Expression photography is a photographic work that is conceptualized with the chosen object and which is presented and presented for the benefit of the photographer with an overflow of his artistic expression, then the work can become a work of expression photography. In this case, the photographic work is interpreted as a medium of expression that displays the identity of the photographer in the process of creating artistic photographic works. His photographic work is more of a pure artistic work of photography (fine art photography) because the form of his appearance focuses on the expressive-aesthetic value of art itself. (Soedjono, 2006) In doing this photographic work, the author wants to change the public's view of construction workers and also change the stigma that exists in society, so that construction workers can be more valued and appreciated in any form. Why did the writer choose expression photography using the collage technique, because the author wanted to experiment with other shapes and objects and the author also wanted to develop himself as an artist in the field of photography with the aim of finding his identity.

Abstract

Dimsum was originally a snack or snack for Chinese residents in the southern region, including Hong Kong, which is inhabited by Cantonese people, because of this, Cantonese people are called the creators of dimsum. Through photography based on this research, the author wants to add insight and knowledge of the community about what dimsum food is and to describe and explain photo works inspired by dimsum food. This research is qualitative research with the focus of research on dimsum food whose creation process is immortalized through food photography. The implementation is done by digging data, analyzing data and presenting the results of data analysis. The process of extracting data can be reached through the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study produce a work through visualizing images of dimsum food into a photo work with a modern feel. Through this research, readers or the general public can find an option in disseminating the promotion method of dimsum food.

Abstract

This research is a research based on This study aims to discuss seaweed which contains many nutrients and nutrients that can be beneficial for health when consumed, such as fiber, minerals, and vitamins. Not only delicious, consuming seaweed can provide health benefits. Seaweed can also be processed into vegetables, snacks, ice, and others. Lembongan water conditions are ideal for seaweed growth. Seaweed cultivation activities in Lembongan Village have been a prima donna that provide large income for business actors such as seaweed cultivators, processors and marketers. This is done through story photography and of course to add insight and knowledge of the community related to processed seaweed snacks. In addition, also to find out how to visualize seaweed snacks into story photography. The implementation method is carried out by digging data, analyzing data and presenting the results of data analysis. The process of extracting data can be reached through the methods of observation, interviews, participation and documentation. Several techniques that can be used to support the data mining method are recording, recording, and simulation. Most data presented in this study were translated in the form of images, charts, graphs and narratives. The results of this study produced 17 photo stories through visualization of images from the processing of biological resources, namely seaweed into processed snacks. Through this research, the wider community can have an option in disseminating promotional methods or other preparations of seaweed. Abstract

Violence against women is still a global phenomenon that continues to occur. The forms of violence that occur include physical, sexual and verbal violence that have a negative impact on the victims. Seeing this phenomenon, the Janahita Mandala Ubud Foundation formed a program called Wadhu Wakya which is an effort to raise women's issues and create a gender vortex that women have a significant role. large. From these problems, it inspires the author to visualize violence against women into expression photography which aims as a means to increase public knowledge about the issue of violence against women and increase awareness of behavior not to take such actions. The study of sources used in this creation are several books, journals, and articles related to violence against women and the visualization of expression photography. The implementation method used is non-participant observation and interview methods. The photos that have been made are expected to be able to help inform about various forms of violence against women and the impacts caused and experienced by victims of violence, increase sympathy and actively participate in campaigning for the anti-violence movement based on gender. Abstract

Dalam usaha melestarikan, memajukan serta menguatkan kembali nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang bernafaskan kebudayaan Bali, Yayasan Janahita Mandala Ubud berkomitmen menjalankan kegiatan dan aktivitas dibidang sosial, kemanusiaan, keagamaan, pendidikan dan kebudayaan. Salah satu segmen kegiatan dari Yayasan Janahita Mandala Ubud yaitu Sarasastra, sebuah acara rembug sastra yang dilaksanakan setiap satu bulan yang didalamnya termuat buku sarasastra, bincang buku, dan juga konservasi naskah lontar. Kegiatan konservasi lontar hampir rutin dilaksanakan sebulan sekali oleh Yayasan Janahita Mandala guna untuk melestarikan naskah-naskah lontar kuno warisan leluhur Bali. Masyarakat Bali pada umumnya menyimpan lontar-lontar mereka begitu saja tanpa karena ketidaktahuan mereka tentang tata cara perawatan naskah lontar yang benar. Dari permasalahan tersebut memberikan inspirasi penulis untuk membuat karya fotografi story tentang cara pelestarian naskah lontar melalui kegiatan konservasi. Kajian sumber yang digunakan dalam penciptaan karya ini yaitu berupa buku, jurnal, dan artikel yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan konservasi naskah lontar dan fotografi story. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan yaitu metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi secara langsung di Yayasan Janahita Mandala Ubud. Hasil dari karya foto yang telah dibuat diharapkan bisa memberi gambaran dan informasi kepada masyarakat tentang cara merawat naskah lontar lewat kegiatan konservasi. Abstract

When technology is increasingly sophisticated and information is very easy to obtain, for example e-books via the internet. Writing using lontar that has been known before is replaced by books and e-books. In connection with the work practice of the MBKM activity program at the Janahita Mandala Ubud Foundation. The author documents photos of the program activities, namely Sarasastra and lontar conservation. In carrying out activities, the author realizes the lack of interest and information from the public regarding lontar so that there is a lack of interest in preserving cultural heritage. Therefore, the author made a photography story entitled "The Process of Writing Lontar Tutur Aji Saraswati by Ida Bagus Oka Manobhawa in Story Photography" which illustrates the process of writing a papyrus script to finish. The photoshoot begins with a photo of the pengawi house, process of writing the lontar, and finally the result is a lontar. The author conducted a literature study through books, journals, and websites as well as observations regarding the writing of lontar and conducted direct interviews. The author uses EDFAT theory and aesthetic theory in the creation of photo works. In the process of shooting, the author applies several photography techniques, namely motion blur, and using sunlight and external flash. It is hoped that the results of the research photos can be seen by the public so that they are interested in contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage, so that time is not lost in the rapid development of technology and information.

Abstract

Jepara city is one of the cities at the tip of Java Island. In addition, this district is also known as a wood carving craft producing area that is famous to foreign countries, in 1954 The Regent of Jepara Sahlan Ridwan wanted to form a team owned by Jepara Regency. This idea is based on the growing number of clubs. That year was then recorded as the year of the founding of Persijap Jepara precisely on April 11, 1954. Persijap Jepara has the nickname Laskar Kalinyamat and has supporters banaspati, Jetman and CNS. Persijap is in League 2 for 2021. Liga 2 Indonesia finally resumed in 2021 by implementing health protocols provided by the government, Liga 2 stopped in 2020 due to the spread of the Corona virus. The creator uses the method of observation and literature study in the creation of this work and performs the shooting process then selected the best photo and editing process, after that to the final stage of exhibition and presentation of the work. In this work the creator raised a documentary photo To visualize the final task work "Persijap Jepara Wading Liga 2 2021 during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Documentary Photography" the creator conducted a shooting process using photographic aesthetic elements and various technical photography so that visualization looks interesting, while for aesthetics affects in terms of meaning that the creator wants to convey and uses several photography techniques including slow speed, freezing, framing.

Abstract

Gypsy Kitchen and Bar is a cafe located in the Canggu area, Badung Bali. Gypsy Kitchen and Bar here doesn't have a company profile yet. Therefore, the writer is very interested in doing the final project at Gypsy Kitchen and Bar. In this pandemic condition, many cafes in the Canggu area have closed due to the impact of Covid 19. This gave rise to the idea to keep the Gypsy Kitchen and Bar Cafe afloat even in this pandemic condition. The purpose of the creation of this work is to visualize and find out the Company Profile Photo of Gypsy Kitchen And Bar and find out the supporting factors and obstacles. The benefits of creating this work are that it can add insight to the creator, can add references to institutions, and increase knowledge for the community. The author uses an observation method regarding the process of making Company Profile photos of Gypsy Kitchen And Bar by observing objects related to the making of this Company Profile photo. Then proceed with the shooting process to the location. From the results of the photo shoot, the best photo selection stage was carried out and continued to the next stage until the end of the creation process, namely the exhibition. To visualize a unique and interesting Gypsy Kitchen And Bar Company Profile Photo, the author must make direct observations in order to know the process from beginning to end.

Abstract

Reka Jana is one of the activity programs at the Janahita Mandala Ubud Foundation, which focuses on instilling local arts and culture in Reading and Writing Balinese script and learning Balinese language for children from an early age. With the development of science and technology, causing the existence of local arts and culture to experience a shift, for example, most children begin to follow the way of dressing and language of western culture. Therefore, the Reka Jana program is expected to be able to re-instill local arts and local culture in children through reading and writing activities in Balinese script which are intended for children aged 5 – junior high school students, as well as the performance of the Dolana Anak Dance which contains learning about the use of language. Bali which is intended for children aged 5-8 years. The purpose of this research is to introduce, provide insight, raise public awareness of Balinese art and culture, as well as to add insight to the author. While the benefits can increase knowledge, insight into art and culture, and can attract the interest of the younger generation and the community to preserve Balinese art and culture. In this study, the methods of observation, literature study/interviews, photo shoots, finishing were used, by producing 15 works of documentary photography. Meanwhile, to analyze the author's work using Edfat's Theory, as well as Aesthetics, in idetional and technical settings.

Abstract

Fotografi merupakan salah satu media yang cukup sering digunakan pada berbagai macam kegiatan promosi. Seperti misalnya foto produk. Dimana sebuah perusahaan berusaha untuk menampilkan berbagai macam produk yang dimilikinya dengan cara yang praktis namun cukup efektif dalam fungsinya. Pada kegiatan ini penulis akn menerapkan penggunaan foto produk pada sampul buku untuk sebuah acara otomotif terbesar di Indonesia. Yaitu IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2022. Pembuatan karya foto ini didedikasikan untuk Tuksedo Studio yang merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang produksi ulang mobil sport klasik tahun 1950an yang sudah tidak diproduksi ulang lagi oleh pabriknya. Dalam penciptaan karya fotografi ini penulis perlu menampilkan dengan baik karakter produk yang ditampilkan serta dapat mencapai fungsi yang maksimal sebagai salah satu media promosi perusahaan Tuksedo Studio pada acara IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2022. Kesan yang ingin dibangun pada foto yang akan dibuat nanti yaitu sebuah sisi kemewahan, elegan, dan berkelas pada mobil-mobil yang diproduksi oleh TUksedo Studio, dengan tujuan agar lebih sesuai dengan audience yang ada pada acara IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2022.
