Abstract

Environmental problems can result in the destruction of valuable nature such as forests, rivers, beaches and others, besides that environmental problem can also damage biodiversity which is very important for humans. Mother Earth as a picture of the Earth that is fertile in supporting the living things in it. To convey the meaning contained in the visualization work of Dewi Pertiwi, the creator conveys the meaning contained in the work of Dewi Pertiwi in expression photography, so that it can be understood by the general public. In the creation of this work the creator used digital imaging techniques. The creator uses the exploratory method and the observation method. In translating the Visualization of Dewi Pertiwi into visual works, the creator uses a semiotic theory which not only examines the denotative level to the connotative level, in addition to building the aesthetic value in this work the creator uses the aesthetic theory of photography. In the preparation of the work also pay attention to the visual elements. The visual elements in this work show more natural damage than the 4 elements in Panca Maha Butha, namely, fire, earth, water, air, accompanied by colors, textures and lines that are set by the creator into image processing. In addition to these elements, this work also prioritizes composition, balance, and complexity in order to achieve a unity in realizing the Visualization of the Goddess of Mother Nature in Expression Photography. The message conveyed in this work is that one day photographic works can be used as a reflection of what is happening in nature today, including as a form of awareness, reminder and the importance of protecting nature. In making each work, it must have a meaning and beauty value in each of his works, so that photography can be accepted more widely by the community. Abstract

Down syndrome is a genetic disorder that causes sufferers to have a low level of intelligence and experience a distinctive abnormality on the sufferer's face, the WHO data estimates that 3000 to 5000 babies are born with this condition each year, until now in Indonesia concern for children with Down syndrome is still relatively minimal, especially in Bali, due to lack of knowledge about children with special needs with Down syndrome, so many people still isolate children with Down syndrome. The purpose of the creator of using Down syndrome as an object of research is to change the stigma of people who consider Down syndrome to be small and to visualize "Singaraja Special School Down Syndrome Children's Activities in Documentary Photography" so that they get several benefits, namely for creators, they can apply the knowledge gained in lectures. , for Institutions can provide references, and add insight to each individual, for the community can provide information about the activities of children with Down syndrome. In the process of creating a photographic work, the creator uses several methods, including the observation method, literature study, and the interview method, after carrying out the method used as material for the creation of a photographic work, the creator uses EDFAT theory and aesthetics, after using several methods and theories in the creation process, the creator gets a conclusion and the results of 15 documentary photos, regarding the activities of children with Down syndrome Singaraja SLB School, among others, folding clothes, children's learning activities, playing activities and other activities. Abstract

Lengis Tandusan is coconut oil that is traditionally processed and has a distinctive aroma, since the COVID-19 pandemic the production and distribution of lengis Tandusan has been slow. However, this home-based business is still running, it can even continue to grow so as to provide creative ideas by visualizing the Process of Making Lengis Tandusan in Dawan Klod Village, Klungkung Regency in Story Photography and aiming to develop creativity and apply photography techniques in the creation of works. The creation of this photographic work began with collecting data through scientific books, journals and news. The creation process carried out direct observations in the field, conducted interviews on the manufacture of barren lengis in order to obtain complete data and took photos. From the results of the photo shoot, it is continued with the process of selecting the best photos, followed by the editing and printing process and the final stage, namely the exhibition. The result of the creation of the process of making barren lengis in the arrangement of 15 photographic works with the title A Coconut Picker, Coconut Middleman, Separating Coconut Shells, Peeling Coconuts, Grated Coconut Flesh, Grated Coconut Flesh, Coconut Squeezing, Woman Taking Saang, Nandusin, Stirring Coconut Milk, Filtering Klengis, Final Process, Lengis Tandusan, Mepes Klengis and Saur. The techniques used in the creation of this work include frog eye view, eye level, bird eye view, high angle, framing and lighting utilizing natural light from sunlight and artificial light from external flash as fill in light or additional light in the process of shooting the work. photography. Abstract

Bali is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has a variety of unique arts, cultures and customs. From the various kinds of arts, culture and customs in Bali, it is inseparable from Hindu religious activities in general in Bali. One of them is cockfighting or commonly called tajen. Cockfighting is one of the cultures of the Hindu community in Bali to offer blood as a ritual in Hinduism known as tabuh rah. The author uses Expression Photography in realizing this work, because he wants to show tajen from a different angle and wants to be more free to explore, express, imagine, the author's experience related to the tajen phenomenon in Bali. Through digital processing, which is controlled by the author with Photoshop software, objects can be manipulated, adding or subtracting objects in order to get a work that has a maximum visual appearance. To further strengthen this, the author utilizes the theoretical basis of aesthetics and semiotics in photographic works and maximizes visual elements in photographic works. The data used in this work are secondary data and primary data. The creator's data collection process uses a qualitative method, which is a method used to observe the environment and the documentation method through digital photo camera recordings, which is then followed by image processing on computer software. The process of observing the creation of this work is done by observing objects related to the making of Expression Photography before taking a photo. At the shooting stage, data collection is also carried out on the angle of shooting / camera angle against the object and the angle of light on the object. Abstract

Tari Jauk Manis is a dance that symbolizes the figure of a king who was wandering and have unique movement, authoritative and meek. Beginning to pull the creators took the theme of the dance Jauk Manis this because the movement is a unique and interesting to be recorded through the medium of photography, the Purpose of this creation is to visualize the movement Tari Jauk Manis to in photographic expression with the technique of Strobe Light into a work that is unique and interesting as well as to know the different kinds of movement in dance Jauk Manis.Tari Jauk Manis have a costume like a Line dance, just dance Jauk Manis use the mask which are white, topknot (king's crown), and gloves with long nails. Complete clothing used in the staging tari Jauk Manis namely trousers white, stewel, kamben white, clothes, srimping, kris, awiran, lamak, badong, topknot, and the mask is colored white. Creator through the method of observation as well as conducting interviews of motion Dance Jauk Manis, then continued the process of shooting to the location. With the Technique of Strobe Light used in the photo shoot Tari Jauk Manis, From the results of the photoshoot done the photo selection and proceed to the next stage until the end to the process of creation of an exhibition and a presentation. To visualize the Motion Tari Jauk Manis in photographic expression with the technique of Strobe Light is a very unique and interesting creators have to do observation direct observation to determine the movement of what is commonly used in the use of the Technique Strobe Light. Abstract

The limitation social is a tactical move that is applied by the government in the prevention of transmission of the virus Covid-19. The time duration of the entry into force of the social restrictions that are long enough, so that people trying to find positive activities that can be done at home respectively. Maintain betta fish ornamental is one of the positive event that the author did. Ornamental betta fish is a kind of freshwater fish that can be found and spread in tropical waters. Ornamental betta fish has the form type of the fins and tail are unique and colorful. This is the basic idea for the author to explore imajination the beauty of betta fish ornamental in art photography. In the process of the creation of masterpieces of photography the author uses the method of creation by making observations of the object so created an idea. Of the idea continued stage design with imagination and collection references. After that, further to stage a photo shoot and stage image processing by combining the theory of aesthetic and color theory to produce photographic works in accordance with the theme that is created. Betta fish have the beauty of fin shapes and colors that are very interesting unique if visualized in art photography with obstacles are looking poses betta fish which is in accordance with the wishes of the author. The result of the creation of this work the author is steeped in the beauty of betta fish decorative from a variety of fins and the color is unique. Abstract

This project is entitled "Visualization of body shaming in Expression Photography" in which the author discusses the impact that polemics can have on society. The negative effects of physical bullying, such as body shaming, on a person's mental health, including an overall loss of confidence and self-esteem. body shaming acts are performed with intentional elements, both verbally and non-verbally, such as on social media especially Instagram. The initial concept was developed into an Independent Study/Project using expression photos, its creation involves several stages, including exploration, experimentation, forming, and finishing, with the use of theories that relate to body shaming, expression photography theory, and semiotic theory. Several expressive photographs depict the feelings experienced by victims of body shaming and the body parts that are objects of humiliation as a result of this Study/Project Independent. These works are entitled as Desperate, Fracture and Impenetrable. This project was conceived as a means of creating awareness of poor and incorrect behaviour so that people would not commit acts of verbal bullying that led to body shaming. Abstract

Hendra Lesmana is a commercial photographer who usually accepts pre-wedding photo shoot projects. Pre-wedding photos used to record moments of happiness welcoming a new life that will soon be lived by the second bride and groom. Marriage is a moment in life that is expected to create happiness and can achieve common goals later. In a pre-wedding photo shoot, many aspects need to be prepared, such as the location of the photo shoot, timing, concept determination, and approach with the client or object to be used. The object of research discussed is the work of pre-wedding photos that will be done in 2021 by Hendra Lesmana. Aesthetic theory of photography used in ideational and technical. Hendra Lesmana always takes photos in three different perspectives, namely, wide angle, medium, and close up. In nature photos he also always uses the sun as the main lighting in producing a photo. Abstract

Proyek kemanusiaan ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas konten fotografi media sosial Bunga Bali Craft (Yayasan Bunga Bali), sebagai media publikasi kepada masyarakat. Media sosial merupakan sarana berkomunikasi di era digital yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk promosi usaha dan media publikasi. Instagram, dengan fiturnya dapat memudahkan setiap orang untuk ber swafoto maupun upload video. Instagram dapat dipergunakan untuk memajang produk dengan konten berupa foto yang menarik, video dengan visual yang indah dan caption (deskripsi) produk tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan ilmu pengetahuan fotografi yang diperoleh selama di bangku perkuliahan sebagai solusi permasalahan kualitas konten fotografi di media sosial Bunga Bali Craft. Publikasi foto produk di Instagram bisa menjadi sebuah usaha promosi untuk mempertahankan eksistensi maupun meningkatkan penjualan kerajinan oleh penyandang disabilitas Yayasan Bunga Bali. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan deskriptif kualitatif, melakukan wawancara kepada informan, observasi, analisis data, menentukan ide, konsep dan teknis pemotretan fotografi. Hasil wawancara dan observasi di analisa permasalahannya untuk kemudian di cari solusi. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini berupa akun Instagram baru Bunga Bali Craft disertai konten visual menarik, pemotretan katalog produk dan edukasi pemanfaatan Instagram kepada Bunga Bali Craft. Adapun pesan yang disampaikan dalam penelitian ini, agar setiap usaha baik kecil maupun besar dapat terbuka wawasannya untuk memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai alat berkomunikasi maupun publikasi kepada masyarakat luas sebab cara tersebut relatif murah dan efisien. Konten berupa foto dengan visual menarik, merupakan bagian penting yang tidak bisa dilewatkan begitu saja. Sebab, apa yang kita tampilkan di media sosial adalah yang kita komunikasikan kepada publik.
