Abstract

There exists misconception among some Muslims on the relationship between Allah’s decree and the success factors in human endeavors which business is one of them. In other word, what determined success in business is seen by many Muslims as just something that does not relate to human’s effort. This paper being conceptual tries to examine the relationship between the concepts –Allah’s decree, human’s effort and business success- as well as how Allah’s decree and then the human effort influence the determination of an individual future and the level of his achievement in business. The paper concludes that though Muslim has to believe in predestine but he has to also believe that Allah has tradition that obliged people to hold a curse, also it is part of the Allah’ s decree that made him to behave toward success or unsuccessful. The study recommends that that people should not only wish but also work toward success, therefore, success factors should be identified and effort should be made toward success and that individual and business should do their own part and leave the rest with Allah, this is where success lies.

Abstract

The problem of unemployment is a polemic for a country. The high population in Indonesia continues to grow, resulting in an increase in the number of existing workers. The current high number of workers exceeds the number of available jobs. The supply of labor that is more than the demand for labor will result in an increase in the number of unemployed. One of the factors associated with unemployment is alumni of a certain level of education, such as those from high schools and tertiary institutions, who are not absorbed in the labor market. High school graduates are faced with unequal competition with vocational high school graduates in terms of skills and work mentality. The availability of jobs to absorb high school graduates is still very small compared to vocational high school graduates. On the other hand, continuing education to college cannot guarantee success in getting a job as expected. This paper is expected to provide an overview and development of insights regarding the polemic of unemployment in Indonesia based on educational levels ranging from high school graduates to tertiary institutions. This research is a literature research with the object of study, namely literature and documents that examine the conditions of education and employment in Indonesia from the perspective of employment absorption, where the data collected is secondary data and then analyzed using descriptive analysis methods.

Abstract

This study aims to create a model of an opinion detection system that will be used as a system to prevent violations of the ITE Law. Source of opinion from Indonesian-language twitter. The system was developed using web crawler technology and text mining with the implementation of one of the classification methods. This means that the research does not focus on sentiment analysis. A web crawler with a focused crawling algorithm can make it easier to find legal sources that are used as guidelines for identifying violations from a user's opinion. The source of law in question is the ITE Law. The resulting convenience is being able to compile document sources on only specific topics and crawl relevant areas of the web. The resulting impact can reduce the amount of network traffic, resulting in significant savings in hardware and network resources. Opinion Mining in this research uses the Naïve Bayes Multinominal Text (NBMT) algorithm. This algorithm is one of the algorithms in accordance with the opinion classification of twitter, capable of producing good accuracy. Another result obtained from the implementation of the NBMT algorithm is the speed of the process in the opinion classification process. The resulting model is used as an alternative that can be used to prevent opinions that have potential violations, especially the ITE Law. To be more perfect, the author plans to develop research that focuses on opinion mining which has better accuracy, especially the detection of violations of the ITE Law.
