Abstract

At present technology has developed rapidly, especially in industrial technology. Business competition is getting tighter, making people have to find ways to maintain their business. One strategy that can be used is to provide discounts on goods or services sold. This discount can be made based on the company's sales data or other factors. In this case, the company has large sales data. Therefore, a way is needed to process the large sales data, and one efficient way to do this is to use the Social Network Analysis method. This study measures the degree of Information Centrality from the Social Network Analysis method to measure how much the item is purchased, this can be taken into consideration to determine discounts on goods or services sold. This research provides the results of discount recommendation applications that can process large sales data and provide recommendations based on the Social Network Analysis method.

Abstract

Examinations are an evaluation method in the teaching and learning process in schools. Generally, exams in schools are still carried out conventionally using paper and stationery, and exam assessments are carried out directly by the teacher. However. The process of creating exam questions, duplicating questions, evaluating and filling in answers is still manual using paper and stationery, causing various obstacles such as high costs and long correction times. To solve the problem above, the researcher used the Agile system development method with the Extreme Programming model which involves four stages: planning, designing, coding and testing. The research results show the success of the CBT application that was built. The application was tested using the black box testing method. Test results show that the correction process is faster by 0.9 seconds and more accurate. Apart from that, in terms of costs, using this application is also cheaper. This shows that the CBT application has a positive impact in increasing the efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of testing and reducing the costs of administering the exam.

Abstract

Setiap daerah di Indonesia memiliki keunikan dan potensi pariwisata yang dapat digali. Provinsi Daerah istimewa Yogyakarta pun memiliki potensi pariwisata yang tidak kalah baik jika dibandingkan dengan daerah-daerah lain di Indonesia. Tetapi kurangnya peran dari pemerintah daerah dan pelaku wisata dalam mengelola wisata tersebut sehingga dimungkinkan potensi-potensi objek wisata tersebut tidak dapat berkembang secara maksimal ataupun tidak dapat bertahan lama. Tujuan dari penelitian in adalah membuat aplikasi sistem informasi berbasis android mengenai pariwisata yang ada di Kabupaten Gunung Kidul berupa foto dari objek wisata, sejarah maupun artikel dari objek wisata, serta mampu memberikan penunjuk wisata untuk para wisatawan secara mobile. Dari hasil penelitian ini, tercipta aplikasi sistem informasi pariwisata menggunakan metode Location-Based Service yang akan dikembangkan ke dalam penelitian proyek profesional dengan melengkapi fitur-fitur yang belum dibuat sesuai dengan penelitian sebelumnya.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of an efficient sales system for PT. XYZ a retail company in Indonesia. The company faces challenges in its sales processes due to the lack of efficiency in the manual system, which is susceptible to errors. The research aims to optimize the sales process by utilizing Oracle Forms 10g and implementing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology to ensure timely solutions. The developed system demonstrates a significant improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and speed. The use of Oracle Forms and SQL Developer simplifies data entry and management processes, while the implementation of List of Values (LOV) reduces errors and enhances data consistency. Furthermore, the system provides real-time insights into sales performance, enabling better decision-making and strategic planning for the company.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of the Plant Encyclopedia REST API, a website application designed using Java, HTML, Spring Boot, MyBatis Generator, and Swagger technologies, with PostgreSQL as the database used to store plant data from the API. This study highlights the declining abilities of the younger generation, especially in mathematics, literacy, and science. Statistical data from PISA test scores from 2003 to 2022 on 15-year-olds worldwide show a peak decline in 2022. The applied research methods include needs analysis, problem identification, system design, application design, implementation, and system testing. This research aims to overcome the lack of knowledge about plants that can have a negative impact on the ecosystem and provide various other benefits. The result of this research is a plant encyclopedia website application that can be accessed by various users to find information related to plants and a swagger website for administrators to manage plant data.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of REST API with Spring Boot in managing employee data in an E-commerce company. With a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and data security, the application utilizes Java, Spring Boot, and MyBatis as the main foundations. System testing demonstrates success in searching, creating, updating, and deleting employee data. Through the Model View Control (MVC) structure, the application ensures clear task separation. This success affirms the application as an effective solution for employee data management, particularly in the dynamic E-commerce industry.

Abstract

In realizing an optimal level of performance, Wai Tiddo Nature Tourism has tried to do various things, such as improving employee discipline and simplifying every employee's work plan to facilitate task work and improve performance. This writing aims to determine the effect of compensation and motivation on employee performance in Wai Tiddo nature tourism, Luwu Regency. The research was conducted by disseminating the questionnaire, while the research method used simple random sampling. The study's results stated that compensation and motivation partially or simultaneously affected employee performance in Wai Tiddo Nature Tourism, Luwu Regency.

Abstract

Arkan Barbershop is a barbershop located in the Wangon area of Banyumas Regency. Arkan Barbershop offers services such as haircuts, hair coloring, and other hair treatments. Currently, Arkan Barbershop still uses manual queues with numbers, resulting in customer congestion at certain times. This application is built using REST API and Laravel framework to process reservation data, services, and prices at Arkan Barbershop. Customers input the desired service and time to facilitate booking and to obtain information about the services available at the barbershop and the list of available service prices.

Abstract

The implementation of Face Emotion Recognition (FER) technology in online classes opens up new opportunities to effectively monitor students' emotional responses and adjust the teaching approach. Through FER, instructors can monitor students' emotional responses to learning materials in real-time and enable quick adjustments based on individual needs. Additionally, this technology can also be used to detect the level of enthusiasm or lack thereof among students towards the learning process, allowing for the optimization of teaching strategies. This study focuses on the implementation of the YOLOv8 algorithm in detecting students' enthusiasm, comparing the performance of YOLOv8n, YOLOv8s, YOLOv8m, and YOLOv8l models. Test results show that YOLOv8n performs the best with an accuracy rate of 95.3% and a fast inference time of 62ms, enabling real-time object detection. Thus, the application of YOLOv8 in this context aims to detect students' enthusiasm in real-time and allows instructors to quickly adjust their approach to meet students' needs. Furthermore, this research contributes to improving the quality of online learning by providing insights into students' emotional engagement and serving as a tool to help instructors better understand and respond appropriately to students' emotions during the online learning process.

Abstract

Fauna learning is a lesson that is commonly found in elementary school. Fauna learning is an important aspect of introducing fauna in Indonesia and the world. In this technological era, the limitations of learning media which still use conventional media such as books, text and images cause students' learning interest to decrease. This causes the ability to understand fauna to decrease and has an impact on low student learning outcomes. So this research aims to build an Augmented Reality (AR) based application that can be used as a media for learning fauna in elementary schools. The method used is the waterfall method, with this method the application is developed in stages starting from the analysis to design stages. Next, the resulting application is then tested using several testing methods, namely functionality testing, application performance testing and application feasibility testing with a questionnaire. Based on the test results, the application was successfully built where all functionality runs well. The application performance is also quite good where the marker can be detected at a distance of 10 – 70 cm with high, normal or low light intensity. The questionnaire results also showed good results, which means that the fauna learning application can be used easily and provides information that is easy to understand.
