Abstract

The benefits of evaluation are improving and achieving a goal and identifying problems with an information system by users. Many agencies use information systems as the backbone for disseminating information. This condition also occurs in the Muara Enim Regency Government, which uses the e-kinerja information system as a forum for distributing information on assessing the performance of State Civil Apparatus within the Muara Enim Regency Government. So the existence of an e-performance information system is very important because it concerns the performance of ASN itself. For this reason, this research will carry out an evaluation to find out or see the views of users regarding the form and appearance of the Muara Enim Regency e-performance information system. In carrying out this evaluation, the method used is the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The results of this research will be in the form of statistical data relating to users' views of the Muara Enim Regency e-performance information system.

Abstract

Organizations culture have a significant impact on the performance and success of an organization, and cultural change is often necessary to deal with evolving challenges. The purpose of this study is to investigate how effective organizational communication can shape adaptive and innovative organizational culture through change agents. This study aims to determine the important role of organizational communication in the process of forming organizational culture through the role of change agents (Agents of Change). The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method by analyzing documents and observing in organizations that experience cultural change. The collected data is systematically analyzed to identify the role of organizational communication in shaping the new organizational culture. The results show that open, inspiring, and ongoing organizational communication plays a key role in communicating the vision of change, explaining the reasons behind change, and facilitating constructive dialogue throughout the organization. Effective communication also supports the education and training of employees, engages them in change, and sustains the cultural change that has been achieved. Thus, this study highlights the importance of organizational communication in shaping an adaptive and innovative organizational culture through change agents.

Abstract

One of the areas in West Java with a huge interest in restaurants is Bandung. Joongla became the only one Pop-Up Dining Experiences in Bandung which only uses word-of-mouth for marketing communications. This research causes to be present 5T's elements word of mouth concept (Sernovitz, 2012) with qualitative case study research methods. The research shows that talkers is consumers who care about Indonesian culture and gastronomy and also enjoy spreading information about Joongla. Topics delivered by storytelling or social media. Using social media as a tool by taking a part plays an active role in providing consumer response. Tracking by seeing the performed of the customer's insight, return customer, and hashtag. There is the newest that is Typical that made the novelty through the concept of Indonesian gastronomy by utilizing media of storytelling and multisensory. Word of mouth activity that Joongla is related to the concepts of eWOM Credibility, eWOM Quality, and eWOM Quantity and also ELM theory through out Peripheral Route and Combination Route.

Abstract

Observing the butterfly transformation process directly, apart from books, can enrich the learning experience and make it more interesting. However, due to the challenges of direct observation, technological innovation is needed to support learning. The aim of this research is to use Augmented Reality (AR) technology as a learning tool for butterfly metamorphosis. In the context of learning, the changes in butterfly shape will be presented through three-dimensional media using an AR-based Android application. Information related to butterfly development will also appear when the 3D object is detected on the marker. The method used in developing this AR application is through marker-based tracking, which uses markers to identify objects. It is hoped that with this application, learning about butterfly metamorphosis can become more engaging and interactive for students.

Abstract

Film is an audio-visual medium that can describe and convey messages, criticism, morals, norms, and others. Movies also have many types, one of which is a documentary film. Documentary films are films that retell reality events with more interesting and creative documentation, where this film is considered capable of influencing its audience. The movie that caught the researcher's attention was a documentary entitled Cyber Hell: Exposing an Internet Horror. Where this film is packaged in a storytelling style from the perspective of a journalist who plays a role in exposing sexual crimes that occur on telegram channels. This research focuses on each scene that contains challenges experienced by journalists when conducting investigative reporting. The purpose of this research is to provide knowledge about the real results of analysis through the methods used and describe the challenges experienced by journalists in conducting investigative reporting on cases of sexual exploitation and harassment through telegram channels. The research method used by the author is descriptive qualitative research method and Roland Barthes semiotic analysis technique. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation and documentation techniques. Researchers found that being a journalist is not easy, there are many challenges that must be overcome when carrying out tasks in this profession. The need for awareness of the challenges faced by journalists in today's social sphere is very important to ensure the quality of news published and reduce the risk of hatred, leaking of journalists' personal data, and the mental health of the journalists themselves.

Abstract

Cryptocurrency has emerged as a crucial element in the global financial market, prompting investor interest in predicting prices for informed investment decision-making. However, the highly volatile nature of cryptocurrency prices has made trading in the crypto market speculative and laden with significant risks. Therefore, this study aims to apply Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) using the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm to forecast cryptocurrency prices. This method leverages the ANN's ability to recognize complex patterns and trends in historical cryptocurrency price data. The research findings demonstrate significant accuracy levels for three types of crypto: BTC (86.86%), BNB (96.8%), and Doge (97%). Evaluation was conducted using the k-fold cross-validation method with k=5, where data was divided into five equally sized groups. Accuracy was computed by comparing actual prices with those predicted by the LSTM model. This evaluation approach provides robust insights into the LSTM model's effectiveness in predicting cryptocurrency prices, considering significant data variations. The predicted values from this study are BTC at $4306, BNB at $58.7, and Dogecoin at $0.037. These implications underscore the critical role of the number of epochs in influencing the performance and accuracy of cryptocurrency price predictions. Thus, this research is poised to offer deeper insights into cryptocurrency market behavior and provide practical guidance for investors to make more informed and measured investment decisions.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to enhance comprehension of how the podcast LPM Dynamics Editorial Synopsis as an academic information medium for students. Qualitative descriptive methods are used in this study to observe the use of media podcasts. In data collection, researchers conduct interviews and analyses. Researchers divide key informants and supporters in the data collection process. Key informants are individuals who understand research issues in detail and are willing to be interviewed. The podcast manager, LPM Dynamika's Siniar Editor, provides important information here. To select a supportive informant, the researchers also used purposive urposive sampling. The researchers used eight UIN SU student informants, the study was conducted at the Islamic State University of North Sumatra. The study's findings suggested that students liked the podcast LPM Dynamika Sinyar Editorial because of its interesting message delivery. LPM Dynamics Podcasts provide an extensive array of accessible information. The Podcast is considered effective as an academic information medium for students because of its excellence that is accessible at any time.

Abstract

The use of services in various software program contexts has become vital. Anomalies, whether in small or large scale, can disrupt the function of a software and impact a company's business processes. Therefore, the process of anomaly identification is crucial to ensure optimal software performance. This research aims to optimize the anomaly identification process in software services at PT. XYZ Tbk. Currently, information about anomalies is obtained through manual checks by the system operator team, which involves checking each job one by one, consuming a lot of time and potentially leading to overlooked anomalies. This research presents a solution to address this issue by developing an optimization system for monitoring anomaly identification in job, enabling faster identification for maintaining system services stability.. The anomaly identification monitoring system is a web-based application built using the Prototyping methodology, PHP programming language, Yii2 framework, PostgreSQL database, WebSocket, and Control-M API. The result of this research is the developed anomaly identification monitoring system, capable of accelerate the identification process and accelerate information transfer using WebSocket.

Abstract

Language in news is a means of storing information. The accuracy of the language used determines whether the information presented is understood or not. When making news, it is very necessary to pay attention to journalistic language, because it must be understood by all levels of society. This research analyzes the use of journalistic language in LPM Dinamika UIN North Sumatra Magazine Edition 62. Is it in accordance with the 17 characteristics of journalistic language, namely simple, short, concise, direct, clear, clear, interesting, populist, logical, democratic, grammatical, avoiding speech, avoiding foreign terms, appropriate choice of diction, prioritizing active sentences, avoiding technical terms, submitting to ethical rules. The research method used is a qualitative technique, descriptive analysis approach. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the use of journalistic language in LPM Dinamika UIN North Sumatra Magazine Edition 62 has used the characteristics of journalistic language, but errors were still found in detail: aspects of selecting appropriate diction 1, brief aspects 6, straightforward aspects 1, aspects of prioritizing active sentences 3 , democratic aspect 2, aspect of using foreign sentences 3.

Abstract

The movie Petualangan Sherina 2, released in 2023, is a continuation of the movie Petualangan Sherina in 2000. The movie is directed by Riri Riza and produced by Mira Lesmana. The story tells the adventures of Sherina, a smart and brave girl who has grown up. Sherina, who works as a journalist, dreams of covering the World Economic Forum held in Switzerland. When she was supposed to go to Switzerland, Sherina was asked by her boss to move to Kalimantan to cover orangutan conservation. This research aims to find out the moral message in the movie The Platform. The research method used is qualitative research method with Roland Barthes semiotic analysis theory. The results of this study are the form of moral messages in the movie Petualangan Sherina 2 in the form of good morals and bad morals. The good morals contained in the movie Petualangan Sherina 2 is the concern for the conservation of orangutans. The bad morals contained in the movie are the theft of orangutans, damaging the natural ecosystem, and poor communication between friends.
