Abstract

The GMIM Nimahesaan Pinaras Church has not optimally utilized information technology to support church services. Until now, all information has been limited to WhatsApp groups or reading congregational news. From these problems, a solution is provided to design and develop the UI/UX of the church website related to worship and church finances. This website's UI/UX design uses the design thinking method in five stages: Empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Test results using the System Usability Scale (SUS) by assessing feasibility, convenience, and system constraints. The success of UI/UX design can be measured with a minimum score of 70%. The final results of testing with the System Usability Scale (SUS) model on the church website system produced a SUS score of 75.75% and was classified in category B, which means GOOD. Therefore, this design was successful.

Abstract

The use of information technology in everyday life has become commonplace in today's society and is increasingly expanding into various fields, including access to the Qur'an. Although many digital Qur'an applications are available, a more flexible and interactive feature is still needed. The research focuses on developing a Telegram chatbot to facilitate the search for the Qur'an. The waterfall approach is used in developing this chatbot system, including needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Data collected through observation was used to understand the weaknesses of the existing Al-Qur'an chatbot system and formulate the desired functional requirements of the bot. This chatbot allows users to search for Qur'anic verses based on surah, verse, keyword, and voice recording. User Acceptance Test (UAT) testing showed a high level of acceptance from users, with 88.57% of respondents strongly agreeing with the chatbot's functionality and performance. Thus, this Al-Qur'an search service Telegram chatbot successfully provides a new alternative to accessing and understanding the Al-Qur'an and helps Muslims and Al-Qur'an memorizers in the process of searching and understanding the verses more efficiently.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 1 Kaliori is located in Pati Regency. The school library of SMP Negeri 1 Kaliori is a source of knowledge at the school, however, the data processing is still manual which makes it difficult for librarians to manage library data. Therefore, an application-based library information system was created to make it easier for librarians. in managing library data in making library information systems using the Java programming language which is a programming language specifically for making an application, the information presented in this application includes information on borrowing, returns, student data, book status data, book codes, late fines and information book collection. With this application, it can help students borrow and return books easily. Students no longer need to look directly at books in the library. By opening this application, students can see all types of books in the library. This application is also equipped with a fine feature so students who borrow books beyond the specified time period will receive a fine. Students can also see the fine bill in the application.

Abstract

Students really need the ability to control themselves in minimizing the occurrence of procrastination due to the use of gadgets. To avoid things that interfere with individual productivity, students must have high self-control. The higher the self-control, the lower the procrastination that occurs. The function of this research is to find out about how self-control students should exercise to minimize procrastination behavior due to uncontrolled use of gadgets. This procrastination can result in certain situations and emotions that are not desired, such as anger, guilt, worry, and so on, and can hamper a person's productivity, and often results in stress and pressure due to unfinished work. In combination these impacts can disrupt a person's happiness, well-being and success in various aspects of life. This is why self-control is very important and students really need self-control. This self-control refers to an individual's ability to regulate their own thoughts, feelings and actions. In this case, data analysis is used in a qualitative descriptive method using a phenomenological approach. with documentation, interviews and observation techniques. This research uses an analysis of self-regulation theory, which is one of the main components of human personality. Self-regulation refers to an individual's capacity to manage their own behavior and involves processes of observation, self-evaluation and response. The object of this research is solving cases regarding self-control in the use of procrastination behavior gadgets by UIN North Sumatra students. The instruments/tools used in qualitative research are interview guides, observation lists, and documentation instructions. Some findings from existing research are that there is a substantial connection between excessive gadget use and self-control to prevent students from delaying assignments, while other findings procrastination and self-regulation are significantly negatively correlated. This shows that some students need higher self-control so that there is low procrastination.

Abstract

Indonesia's economic progress is heavily influenced by the development of tourism, which has become a major source of income for the region and the nation at large. However, the current COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way global tourism works with reduced interest and number of tourists visiting various destinations. For this reason, a smart tourism approach is suggested as a viable solution to encourage a more interactive and captivating tourism experience. This research presents an app called Quexp app that presents missions and challenges during the tourism experience for users to complete. By rewarding users for their achievements, Quexp is envisioned as an innovative way to market and develop tourism destinations in a fun way that actively engages the community. This study examines the concept of smart tourism and the use of the Quexp app as a means to encourage travelers' curiosity and desire to see various tourism sites, thus contributing to understanding the development of sustainable adaptive tourism in the context of global change.

Abstract

Research related to retail operations has been a major focus in recent years, driven by rapidly changing market dynamics and the importance of product availability on store shelves to meet customer satisfaction. The concept of On Shelf Availability (OSA) has become key in ensuring products are available when needed. However, the challenge in retail management lies in monitoring thousands of different products, which is time-consuming and resource-intensive. To address this issue, an efficient object detection solution is needed. The research implements the YOLOv8 algorithm in detecting out-of-stock items, particularly in the context of mobile devices with resource limitations. In order to achieve this goal, the research adopts a comprehensive methodology, starting from direct data collection from supermarkets, data processing, labeling, to model training using transfer learning techniques. Transfer learning method is chosen to overcome data limitations and accelerate the model training process, enabling faster adaptation to object detection conditions at specific locations. Test results show that YOLOv8s delivers the best performance with an accuracy of up to 94.7%, allowing real-time object detection. Testing is conducted on various mobile devices, including Samsung A54 and Samsung A6, where YOLOv8n consistently performs with an inference time of 41.46 ms on Samsung A54 and 257.73 ms on Samsung A6. The main contribution of this research is to enhance object detection capabilities on devices with low computational power, such as mobile devices, and provide an effective solution to the problem of product availability on store shelves. Thus, this research not only brings positive impact to retail management but also drives the development of object detection technology in the context of resource-limited devices and unstable internet connections.
