Abstract

The double role (double burden) for women has many communication conflicts, with several parties supporting and those opposing, this often occurs in society. A number of people think that double burden women are allowed as long as they do not violate their nature as women. However, a number of people feel worried because in many cases double burden women are often unable to balance their roles between being at home and outside the home, namely work. which will result in failure in one of these positions, or even both. An incident that arises in society is that women tend to earn a living more actively to earn additional money for the family and to express their own desires. A woman who has these two roles is defined as a woman who has two positions, namely being a housewife and a working woman. This research was conducted to find out how multiple role communication conflicts occur in women. Qualitative research methods, carried out through in-depth interviews, are used to understand the problem being studied. In terms of communication conflict, it was found that the lack of communication provided by a woman caused conflict. It can be concluded that the dual role accepted by a woman is a burden for some women.

Abstract

The more retail businesses in Yogyakarta, the higher the level of competition to attract consumers. This is also felt by Pamella Supermarket, which is one of the retail businesses in Yogyakarta. This research was conducted to find out how Pamella Supermarket's strategy in building brand loyalty. The retail industry is the most competitive industry, this research can help retail companies to develop more effective strategies in winning the competition. The CSR program conducted by Pamella uses the concept of triple bottom line (people, planet, profit). The existence of CSR activities can be considered by the public as a form of concern from the company so that it will increase public trust and increase brand loyalty. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data validity techniques using triangulation. The data analysis technique goes through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Pamella has a CSR program named Pamella Peduli and has 6 activities that are the focus of its implementation, namely educational assistance, infrastructure, environment, health, humanitarian donations, and community donations. The implementation also involves employees and stakeholders. CSR activities are one of the considerations of consumers, the more companies contribute to social activities, the more loyal customers are to a brand.

Abstract

In this study, we want to learn how service quality affects consumer satisfaction with Saripul motor boats in the Lesung Batu, Pagar Gunung District, Lahat Regency, and what factors could influence consumer satisfaction with Saripul motor boats. This research methodology includes questionnaires, observational methods, documentation, surveys, and studies of participation using likert scales. A total of 82 consumers were surveyed using proportional stratified random sampling as the sampling technique. This study used a quantitative approach, which is to say, it used instrument reliability and validity tests, classical assumption tests like heteroskedasticity and normalcy, hypothesis tests like parcial (uji-t), F, determination (R2), linear regression, and a correlation technique. The research results show that: in the combined regression model Y = 1,192 + 0.754X, there is a positive and significant relationship between service quality and consumer satisfaction with the Saripul motor boat from Lesung Batu Village, Pagar Gunung District, Lahat Regency. We know that the service quality influences customer satisfaction since the calculated F-value of 1503,942 > the tabled F-value of 3.96 or a P-value of 0,00 < 0.05. In contrast, the t-test result of product quality 38,781 > ttable = 1,664 indicates that the service quality variable has a positive effect on the dependent variable, consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to make it easier for officers to consolidate and integrity the BPJS outpatient claim files that will be submitted by the Hospital to the BPJS. The type of research used by researchers is qualitative research with a descriptive nature because it tends to use analysis, process, foundation and meaning (subject perspective) which is more emphasized. Data collection techniques in research include observation and interviews. system development methods using methodsAgile to make it easier to adapt if changes occur in a project. . By implementing the designed system, the potential impact can be to reduce dependence on manual processes that are time consuming and prone to errors, an integrated information system will automatically ensure better data integrity, transparency and accountability in the BPJS claiming process, even though there are initial costs for the implementation and development of information systems, in the long term it will result in significant cost savings, and avoid sanctions and legal problems that could arise due to violations of applicable regulations in managing health data and BPJS claims.

Abstract

This article focuses on the analysis of strengthening religious moderation in the people of Medan City which is promoted by the Medan City FKUB using an intercultural communication perspective. This is because the problem of intolerance is the root of social problems that can divide society, especially in Medan, which is a multicultural city. The urgency of this study rests on how intercultural communication is able to initiate attitudes of tasamuh and unity regarding differences through the support of contact communication between groups. Religious harmony forums have a role in creating a forum for culturally and religiously heterogeneous communities. This study adopts a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques used in this article are interviews, observation and documentation supported by primary and secondary data. This article uses thematic analysis techniques to better understand the observed phenomenon. The results of this study emphasize the importance of intercultural communication and intergroup contact in supporting religious moderation, which is the key to creating a tolerant, just and balanced society. Intercultural communication is effective in promoting inter-religious dialogue, religious discourse, and religious seminars. In order to overcome bad prejudice and strengthen tolerance. This approach is also vital in conveying information and the concept of religious moderation. Despite technical and semantic challenges, the implementation of intercultural communication can make a significant contribution to religious discussions and unity. FKUB in Medan City has demonstrated success in implementing this approach, creating a harmonious social space and respecting differences as gifts, by promoting collective support for humanitarian principles.

Abstract

UD. ABC is a trade unit or shop in the wooden and ceramic fields located in General Sudirman, Argomulyo district of Salatiga City.The system of sales transactions used in this store UD. ABC is still manually by means of recording the sales data on the notebook and after that the data will be written and stored just so, the recording of the sales transaction that is still manual of course is still less effective and at any time the data can be lost.Therefore, there is a need for a website-based information system that can make it easier for employees to record sales transactions. With the presence of a web-based sales application this also makes it easy for employees, because of the large amount of product data and having a large number of customers, with this employee can easily record the sales transaction data and store it and excel form. In this study, it was built using the prototyping method.-based sales information system web designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database.method black-box testing.

Abstract

Research was conducted to build web-based inventory system at PT. Gagas Mitra Jaya in Salatiga as solution to the challenges in process of recording materials owned by technician. The research method used hybrid waterfall-agile. System design uses use case and activity diagrams in UML to describe flow of system creation, which involves the process of collecting data through interviews and questionnaires. The development uses Python, Flask, VS Code IDE, and PostgreSQL. This selection based on considerations of flexibility, accessibility, ease of integration, and faster update capabilities. The code architecture is MVC (Model-View-Controller), a development concept that divides data structures, system logic and interfaces on websites. The system designed called GNS (Gagas Network Supplies) has main menu that includes picking up, using and returning materials to record material usage, as well total item menu that summarizes material stock. The GNS system is expected to provide better service processes, more effective stock monitoring, higher inventory accuracy, and flexibility in business growth.

Abstract

The easiest thing to determine whether a room is healthy or not is to know the temperature and humidity levels of the room. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the temperature and humidity of the room at any time. From this, a design was created for a monitoring tool that can monitor room temperature and humidity based on the Internet of Things using Android Studio so that temperature and humidity can be monitored from anywhere and at any time. An Internet of Things (IoT) based room temperature and humidity monitoring tool was created using a NodeMCU ESP8266 and a DHT-11 Temperature Sensor and implemented using Android Studio. The Internet of Things (IoT) based room temperature and humidity monitoring process uses FIREBASE as a communication medium between the temperature sensor and NodeMCU with an Android device. Data from the temperature sensor connected to the NodeMCU is then forwarded to FIREBASE using topic publish. Androids who want to monitor temperature must subscribe to the published topic so they can get temperature and humidity data sent from the DHT-11 sensor. By utilizing this research, the public can make it easier to check temperature and humidity in real time with a smartphone or personal computer so that it can facilitate monitoring of the ideal temperature for baby rooms, farms, plants and so on in order to minimize anything undesirable.

Abstract

Learning to be independent presents a number of challenges for students with intellectual disabilities, including communication and social interaction issues. Their capacity to comprehend directions, communicate needs, and interact with people may be impacted by this. In addition, individuals with intellectual disabilities often struggle with emotional regulation, which makes it more difficult for them to adjust to their environment. This highlights the necessity of offering suitable help and guidance in the field of education so that individuals with intellectual disabilities can reach their full potential. It turns out that the development of independence in students with intellectual disabilities is significantly influenced by the quality of interpersonal connection between teachers and students. Using a case study at a Special School (SLB C Karya Tulus), this study intends to examine interpersonal communication patterns between instructors and students in the context of helping individuals with intellectual disabilities become more independent. The descriptive approach, combined with a qualitative research methodology, aims to provide verbal interpretations of the research findings. Direct observation, teacher and administrator interviews, and the review of pertinent documents were the methods used to gather data. The study's findings demonstrate the critical role that interpersonal communication has in the development of student independence between mentally handicapped pupils at SLB C Karya Tulus and their teachers. Good and honest communication can boost students' enthusiasm to learn, give them more self-assurance, and improve the bond between teachers and students. These results highlight how crucial it is to focus on the interpersonal communication quality in order to assist students with intellectual disabilities in developing their independence in an inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

Kalilo Pine Forest in Purworejo Regency, Central Java, is a tourist destination that offers visitors natural beauty and high comfort. However, the lack of popularity and information about the destination has made many people unfamiliar with it. In addition, the ticket sales system that still uses manual methods results in inconvenience for visitors. To overcome this problem, innovation is needed in the form of a mobile-based tourist ticket reservation application, utilizing the development of information technology and the phenomenon of increasing smartphone usage, especially in Indonesia. By using the waterfall research methodology and black box testing, this research aims to build a tourist ticket reservation application equipped with virtual tour features. It is expected that the results of this research will provide a better tourist experience to visitors and become a more effective and attractive promotional media.
