Abstract

Water quality monitoring is crucial in aquaculture to maintain fish health and increase productivity. This study developed an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water quality monitoring and automatic feeding system using an ESP32 microcontroller, DS18B20 temperature sensor, TDS sensor, turbidity sensor, and SG90 servo motor. The Blynk platform was used as an interface to monitor real-time data, set feeding intervals, and send notifications. The system was developed using the prototyping method, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and refinement. Sensor calibration was conducted by comparing the temperature sensor with a digital thermometer, the TDS sensor with a digital TDS meter, and the turbidity sensor with digital turbidity meter. A total of 30 measurement samples were collected to calculate deviations. The operational ranges detected were 20–30 °C, 220–260 ppm, and 2–4 NTU. Results showed average deviations of 2.04 °C (92.44%), 2.84 ppm (96.21%), and 0.17 NTU (98.11%). The system provides reliable monitoring and programmable feeding intervals, enhancing efficiency in aquaculture management.

Abstract

This study examines how to block unauthorized access while keeping services available in an enterprise network. The approach combines Access Control Lists (ACLs) allow/deny rules on routers and Policy-Based Routing (PBR), which steers specific traffic without changing the main routing setup. The object of study is a lab simulation with four understandable parts: a central network (head office), an applications/services network, a provider/carrier network, and an external network (internet/partners). The method evaluates three scenarios: baseline, ACL, and ACL + PBR, in a virtual environment using straightforward measurements (ping, traceroute, and rule/route activity logs). Results show the internal subnet is closed in both directions as required; the legitimate path from the central network to the services network remains available and balanced via the provider network; there is no route leakage from the external network to unauthorized areas; and PBR successfully guides specific flows without disrupting the primary path. In conclusion, combining ACL + PBR effectively strengthens security while maintaining service availability, serving as a practical guide for multi-domain enterprise networks.

Abstract

The increase in indoor temperature and humidity often leads to discomfort and excessive energy consumption in conventional fans operated manually. This study aims to develop a smart fan system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) with adaptive control, capable of monitoring temperature and humidity in real-time and adjusting fan speed automatically or manually via a smartphone application. The system was built using a DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, and the Blynk IoT platform as the primary interface. Test results show that the sensor achieved an accuracy of ±0.8°C for temperature and ±3% for humidity, with an average data transmission latency of < 2 seconds and a fan response time of < 1 second. The system operated stably for approximately 1 hours without connection interruptions. By applying adaptive control through hysteresis logic, the system has the potential to reduce energy consumption by dynamically adjusting the fan duty cycle compared to conventional fans. This development contributes to creating an adaptive, comfortable, and energy-efficient indoor environment.

Abstract

This study examines the application of the Naïve Bayes algorithm for sentiment analysis on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) regarding the movie Agak Laen. In the digital era, understanding public opinion is highly important, and this film was chosen as a case study due to the large number of circulating reviews. Naïve Bayes was selected for its efficiency in text classification. The research process began with data collection using the TwCommentExport extension, followed by preprocessing to remove noise such as links and punctuation. The cleaned data were manually labeled into positive or negative sentiments. Subsequently, the data were transformed into numerical representations using TF-IDF feature extraction and trained with the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The dataset was divided into 70% training data and 30% testing data to evaluate the model’s performance. The experimental results demonstrated an accuracy of 75.73%. These findings indicate that Naïve Bayes is an effective method for analyzing movie sentiment, although further improvements in data processing or advanced classification techniques are still possible. This research is expected to provide insights into public responses to the film Agak Laen and serve as a reference for the film industry as well as researchers in understanding audience opinions more comprehensively.

Abstract

This study is a case study that investigates how the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) affects the creative capacity of illustrators in the process of creating visual characters. The research focuses on the use of Stable Diffusion, a machine learning model that utilizes diffusion techniques to generate images, and the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm as a method for classifying and analyzing data. By observing the interaction between illustrators and AI systems, this study aims to assess the extent to which AI influences visual style, creation methods, and the originality of resulting works. Data were collected through interviews, direct observation of the creative process, and comparisons between manually created works and those involving AI. The results indicate that AI holds significant potential to accelerate the design process and expand visual exploration, though it also presents challenges related to authenticity, dependency, and shifts in the illustrator’s role within the creative industry. SVM is used to categorize creators' perspectives on AI based on various parameters, which are then analyzed to identify common patterns. This research is expected to provide valuable insights for creative industry practitioners and academics in utilizing technology wisely without compromising artistic values and originality in illustrative works.

Abstract

Social media has become the primary means for people to express their opinions on public policies. One policy that has generated mixed reactions is DKI Jakarta Governor Instruction Number 6 of 2025, which requires civil servants (ASN) to use public transportation every Wednesday. This study aims to analyze public sentiment towards this policy using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. Data was collected from social media X using purposive sampling technique using related keywords during the period May-July 2025. Then processed through the stages of cleansing, tokenizing, stopword removal, stemming, and transformation into numerical form using TF-IDF. Of the 800 tweets collected, 600 positive opinions and 200 negative opinions were obtained. Then, the data was classified using the Support Vector Machine algorithm. Thus, the research that has been conducted obtained an accuracy of 76.00%, and an AUC of 0.725. These findings are expected to not only provide accurate sentiment classification, but also provide practical input for the government to evaluate the effectiveness of policies, improve socialization strategies, and measure the level of public acceptance of ASN transportation policies.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing public sentiment regarding the policy banning school graduation ceremonies in West Java, which aims to adapt the tradition to socio-economic conditions. This research is expected to provide insights for the formulation of more inclusive and equitable education policies, as well as offer alternative, more friendly graduation practices. The research object includes public opinions and comments on the social media app TikTok regarding this policy. The method used is sentiment analysis with the Naive Bayes algorithm, with data collected over two months following the policy's announcement. The results show that the majority of respondents support the ban, driven by reasons of reducing the burden on parents' costs and minimizing social jealousy. The conclusion can be drawn that this policy has received a positive response from the public. These findings can serve as a reference for policymakers in developing a more equitable education system. It is recommended that the government continue to involve the public in the policy-making process and seek alternative methods for celebrating graduations that are more economical and equitable.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop an Augmented Reality application for learning Hijaiyah letters at Muhammadiyah Labuan Elementary School. Teachers often struggle to make lessons engaging, as available media are limited to books and whiteboards. As a result, many students lose interest and find it difficult to stay focused during class. To address these challenges, the application was designed using Unity 3D as the main platform, combined with Vuforia Engine for marker scanning and Blender for creating 3D models of Hijaiyah letters. The development process followed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) stages, starting from needs analysis through observation and interviews, system design, and continuing to implementation and testing. Trials were conducted on Android devices involving both students and teachers. The results show that the application can display Hijaiyah letters interactively, complete with audio pronunciation, making it easier for students to recognize both the shape and sound of each letter. Over 80% of students reported that learning became more enjoyable and easier to understand, while teachers found it helpful for delivering lessons. The use of Augmented Reality has proven effective in boosting students’ interest and understanding of Hijaiyah letters at the elementary level.

Abstract

This research focuses on the design and implementation of a chicken coop temperature and humidity monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) with automatic notifications through Telegram. The study was motivated by the problems faced by poultry farmers, particularly the difficulty of continuously monitoring environmental conditions manually and the lack of an early warning system when temperature or humidity exceeds the normal threshold. The proposed system integrates a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity, a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller to process data and connect to Wi-Fi, and the Telegram Bot API to deliver automatic notifications. The prototype was developed using a prototyping methodology, including design, implementation, and testing stages. The test results demonstrate that the DHT22 sensor provided sufficient accuracy with an average error of ±0.3°C for temperature and ±1%RH for humidity. Notifications via Telegram were successfully delivered within 3–5 seconds after critical conditions were detected. Additionally, the system applies a 10-minute delay for normal conditions to avoid message spamming while still ensuring continuous monitoring. Overall, the system effectively supports poultry farmers by enabling real-time monitoring, early warnings, and efficient management of coop environmental conditions. This prototype highlights the potential of IoT-based solutions to modernize poultry farming and increase productivity through practical and cost-effective monitoring technologies.

Abstract

Innovations in telecommunications and networking have driven major transformations in public services, particularly in the health and education sectors. This study aims to explore the role of telecommunications technology in advancing public service innovation, especially in the digital era with the adoption of advanced technologies such as telehealth and e-government. Based on a search on Scopus on 25 August 2025, 1,567 articles were found using the keywords ‘Telecommunications,’ ‘network,’ ‘Innovation,’ and ‘service.’ Of these, 208 articles were selected for the period 2021-2025, comprising 102 document articles, 95 articles in English, and 54 open access articles. Through a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, this paper analyses the challenges and opportunities in applying telecommunications technology for public service innovation. The findings show that although technology improves efficiency and access, challenges such as the digital divide and privacy issues remain significant. This study provides policy recommendations to strengthen telecommunications infrastructure and address data security issues. The drive for innovation is particularly evident in telehealth, big data & AI-based health monitoring, 5G for remote areas, and open API-based e-government platforms to improve the efficiency of public services.
