Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the acceptance of an information system using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The research examines three key constructs: Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), and Behavioral Intention (BI). A quantitative approach was employed with a purposive sampling technique involving 60 active users of the information system. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS through validity testing, reliability testing, descriptive statistics, and Spearman correlation analysis. The findings indicate that all measurement instruments demonstrate excellent validity and reliability, with Cronbach’s Alpha values exceeding 0.900 for all variables. The correlation results reveal that both PU and PEOU have positive and significant relationships with BI, suggesting that perceived benefits and ease of use are important determinants that strengthen users’ intention to adopt and continue using the system. However, the relationship between PEOU and PU is not significant, indicating that ease of use does not automatically translate into perceived usefulness within the context of this study. These results reinforce the relevance of the TAM framework while highlighting contextual nuances that may influence variable relationships. Overall, the study concludes that enhancing system usefulness and ensuring ease of use are essential strategies for increasing user acceptance of information systems within organizational settings.

Abstract

Music is a universal medium for expressing emotions, with song lyrics serving as a narrative component rich in affective content. This study aims to analyze the emotional landscape within popular English song lyrics collected from the Spotify platform and to examine the effectiveness of Natural Language Processing (NLP) approaches in classifying these emotions. The research corpus consists of 57,494 randomly collected song lyrics without genre restrictions. Through a comprehensive analytical pipeline---ranging from text preprocessing (case folding, normalization, cleaning, tokenization, filtering, stemming), custom lexicon-based emotion labeling, TF-IDF feature extraction, to classification using a Random Forest model---the study reveals two key findings. Empirically, song lyrics are dominated by positive emotions, with romantic (36.2%) and happy (26.2%) emerging as the main themes, followed by sad (16.3%), while angry expressions (4.4%) appear least frequently, indicating significant class imbalance. Methodologically, the proposed model demonstrates solid performance with an overall accuracy of 83.03% and a weighted avg F1 score of 0.82. However, analysis of the confusion matrix and classification report uncovers performance disparities across emotion classes: angry and energetic emotions exhibit low recall (42% and 62%, respectively), likely due to imbalanced data distribution and lexicon limitations in capturing context. In conclusion, this study not only succeeds in mapping the dominance of love- and happiness-related themes in popular song lyrics but also demonstrates that classical NLP models can achieve competitive performance. The findings additionally highlight the importance of addressing class imbalance and developing more context-rich emotion lexicons or employing deep learning models in future research, in order to capture the emotional spectrum of lyrics more evenly and comprehensively.

Abstract

This study was conducted to address operational issues at Kafe Kaffeine, which still relied on a semi-computerized ordering process that caused service delays, data inaccuracies, and inefficiencies in generating daily sales reports. The objective of this research is to develop a web-based food and beverage ordering system integrated with QR Code technology to improve service speed and data accuracy. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method was employed due to its iterative nature and its ability to involve users throughout each development stage. The system was developed using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and evaluated through black-box testing. The results indicate that QR Code integration enables customers to place orders independently, reduces input errors, and accelerates transaction flow. Furthermore, the system automates sales recording and provides real-time reporting, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and service quality in culinary SMEs.

Abstract

The assumption in this research is how Generation Z, as digital natives, has become a generation that is familiar and easily accesses media such as online lending applications. Several studies have shown the pros and cons within the online lending culture. Furthermore, data from the OJK indicating that Gen Z is the largest contributor to bad credit highlights the urgency of conducting this research. In the process of digital media literacy, there are gaps between parents and Gen Z, known as the digital divide phenomenon. Within these conditions, online lending innovation emerges as problematic issue, particularly in a family context. The focus of this research is the tendency of interpersonal communication between parents and children regarding Interpersonal Power and which type of power is most suitable for educating children about online lending in lower-middle-class families. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and the Interpersonal Power theory initiated by John R. P. French and Bertram Raven, adapted by Joseph A. Devito, to explain the online lending education processes conducted by parents for Gen Z. The results of this study indicate that not all types of power possessed by parents can be applied in lower-middle-class family conditions. Reward power, coercive power, and expert power are irrelevant to be applied in these families, whereas referent power and legitimate power proved to be the dominant powers used within the lower-middle-class family scope. These two powers produce a social approach that aligns with the socio-economic reality of lower-middle-class families, with referent power used to build awareness and legitimate power used for supervision.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based weather chatbot dashboard capable of receiving natural Indonesian language queries and displaying weather information interactively. The system combines Sentence-BERT (SBERT) paraphrase-multilingual-MiniLM-L12-v2 as a text similarity engine, Gemini 2.5-flash Large Language Model (LLM) as a natural language summary generator, and the OpenWeather API as a real-time weather data source. A zero-shot semantic similarity approach is used without fine-tuning, with intent determination based on cosine similarity and a threshold of 0.5 optimized through testing several threshold values. The development method used is the Waterfall model with stages of requirements analysis, architectural design, NLP module implementation and API integration, React dashboard frontend development, as well as functional black-box testing and performance metric evaluation. The test results show that SBERT with a threshold of 0.5 produces an intent classification accuracy of 90% in 20 test scenarios, which increases to 100% after being combined with rule-based auto-adjust and fallback mechanisms. City entity extraction with a 1–3 word sliding window against city.list.json achieved 100% accuracy on 15 city-based queries, while macro metrics yielded a precision of 0.9286, a recall of 0.90, and an F1‑score of 0.8958. The integration of the OpenWeather API and Gemini enables the presentation of natural, informative weather summaries and visualization of real-time weather data in the form of interactive graphs on a React-based dashboard.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the network structure, theme development, and density of disaster mitigation, deforestation, and government communication policies, as well as examine its implications for socio-ecological vulnerability conditions in North Sumatra. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a bibliometric design through the metadata analysis of publications for the 2020–2025 period, each as many as 1291 articles for the theme of disaster mitigation, deforestation, and government communication policies, as well as 59 disaster-related articles in North Sumatra, using VOSviewer to map network visualization, overlay, and density. The results of this study reveal that the dominance of policy clusters as a link between deforestation and flood risk shows that the effectiveness of disaster mitigation in North Sumatra is highly determined by the direction, consistency, and integration of development policies. The findings of the study density on policy and land use issues directly imply the need to tighten licensing, control deforestation, and spatial and watershed planning as mitigation policy priorities. Meanwhile, the shift in theme towards more specific flood risk assessments underscores the need for prevention and data-driven policies, which must be strengthened through transparent and participatory government risk communication in order to transform risk knowledge into long-term vulnerability reduction collective action.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the construction of the meaning of humanitarian messages and psychosocial recovery as well as the representation of the role of actors, empathy, and social solidarity in Instagram content @aniesbaswedan in the post-disaster situation in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. The study used a qualitative method with a content analysis design, referring to the Krippendorff approach, on 22 Instagram posts for the period of November 27–December 23, 2025 which were analyzed interpretively through thematic categorization and interpretation of latent meaning. The results showed that humanitarian messages were constructed through empathic narratives, the use of inclusive diction, visual direct engagement with survivors, as well as an emphasis on collective solidarity and the sustainability of recovery, while psychosocial recovery was represented as a long-term social process involving non-survivor actors, community social capital, dignity values, and recognition of the emotional and cultural experiences of affected communities. These findings confirm that content @aniesbaswedan serves as an alternative digital public space that complements the state's formal narrative in responding to disasters. This study recommends strengthening empathic, participatory, and community-based post-disaster communication strategies for governments, humanitarian organizations, and public figures, as well as encouraging cross-platform follow-up research and audience approaches to deepen the study of humanitarian communication and psychosocial recovery.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the framing of the government and citizen-generated content on flood information in Aceh Tamiang and compare the construction of meaning, responsibility, and handling recommendations built by the two actors in the digital communication space. The method used is qualitative research with Robert Entman's framing analysis design, using data in the form of TikTok content consisting of official government clarifications and public content in the November-December 2025 period, which is collected through non-participatory observation and documentation, then categorized based on the function of problem definition, causal diagnosis, moral assessment, and solution recommendations. The results show that government framing tends to emphasize stability, perception control, and institutional legitimacy by reducing crises as controlled situations, while citizen-generated content displays the reality of humanitarian crises, inequality of handling, delayed responses, and social and ecological damage as the center of meaning, thus forming a strong counter-narrative in the digital public space. The comparison of the two framing shows the battle of meaning between the narrative of state stability and the direct experiences of survivors that affect audience reception and public trust. This study recommends the repositioning of government disaster communication towards a more transparent, empathetic, and participatory approach, strengthening risk communication based on field experience by disaster management agencies, and the development of advanced research that integrates framing analysis with audience reception studies and digital platform dynamics.
