Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based learning media using the Omohage platform for Grade VIII Informatics subject at SMP Islam AlFattahiyyah. The media was developed to address low student engagement and unsatisfactory learning outcomes, particularly on the topic of The Social Impact of Informatics. The research adopted the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases. The developed product is an interactive website featuring structured learning materials, educational videos, interactive quizzes, and user-friendly navigation. Validation by media experts yielded a score of 90.3%, classified as very feasible, while validation by content experts yielded a score of 69.09%, considered adequately feasible. A small-scale trial involving 5 students achieved a score of 90.90%, and a large-scale trial involving 20 students scored 85.66%. The average feasibility rating was 83.99%. Therefore, the Omohage-based web learning media is deemed feasible and effective as an alternative tool to improve student understanding in Informatics. Its use also supports self-directed learning and increases student motivation in digital-based learning environments.

Abstract

Food safety is a critical aspect of food production, particularly for home-scale food businesses that often operate with limited formal control systems. The Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) approach is widely recognized as an effective preventive system to identify, evaluate, and control potential food safety hazards. This study aims to analyze the implementation of HACCP principles in a home-scale pempek production unit, Dapur S’Best, as an effort to ensure food safety and consumer protection. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through direct observation and assessment using HACCP-based indicators. A total of 40 indicators covering raw material handling, processing stages, equipment sanitation, and hygiene practices were evaluated to identify potential hazards and critical control points during production. The results show that Dapur S’Best has implemented 35 out of 40 HACCP indicators, with an overall compliance level of 87.5%. The most critical stages identified were raw material reception and cooking processes, particularly in controlling biological hazards. These hazards were mitigated through the use of fresh raw materials, proper sanitation of equipment, and adequate cooking temperatures. Although HACCP has not been formally documented or certified, the production practices reflect a preventive approach consistent with HACCP principles. In conclusion, this study demonstrates that HACCP principles can be adaptively applied in home-scale food enterprises through simple and feasible practices. The findings contribute to food safety studies by highlighting the potential of HACCP-based approaches to enhance consumer protection and product quality in small-scale food businesses.

Abstract

Electronic modules (E-modules) are a set of digital learning media that are systematically designed to support independent learning. E-modules can be used as a complement to teaching materials in learning activities, especially in the application of electronic-based media. The purpose of this study is to develop e-module learning media in Google Site-based ICT subjects that are suitable for use at MA Al Fattahiyyah Tulungagung. This research uses a research and development approach (Research and Development) with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) development model. The material developed in the e-module is adjusted to the MA Al Fattahiyyah class X syllabus, especially the material "Computer Network". The subjects of this study include 1 lecturer of media experts, 1 teacher of ICT subjects as material experts, and students of class X of MA Al Fattahiyyah. The research instrument consisted of a media feasibility assessment sheet, a material assessment sheet, and a questionnaire of students' responses to the use of e-modules. The results of the study showed that the e-module was declared suitable for use as a teaching material with scores from media experts of 87%, material experts of 93%, and the results of user trials (students) in small and large groups showed excellent results. Thus, Google Site-based e-module learning media on Computer Network materials at MA Al Fattahiyyah is included in the category of "Very Feasible" and can be used to support a more interactive and effective learning process for students.

Abstract

One way investors assess the current and future success of a business is by looking at the value of the company. Therefore, increasing organizational value is the main goal of management in generating value for shareholders. Companies in the coal subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2024 are the population in this study. Eighteen companies operating in the coal subsector were randomly selected using purposive selection techniques, and financial records were used as secondary data sources. Excel and SPSS v26 are used for data processing. The value of a company is positively and significantly influenced by good corporate governance, profitability, and leverage, according to the study's conclusions. Therefore, it can be said that strong profitability, leverage, and corporate governance These three factors contribute significantly to the value of the company. A company's value is positively and significantly influenced by its profitability, the extent to which its capital structure is well managed, and the extent to which strong corporate governance standards are adhered to.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review on the development of management control systems (MCS) and their relationship with innovation, business strategy, and organizational performance. Through an analysis of 20 journal articles published between 1997-2024, the study identified four main themes: (1) the conceptual evolution of MCS from a traditional perspective to a Levers of Control framework; (2) the role of MCS in encouraging organizational innovation; (3) the fit between MCS and business strategy for performance; and (4) MCS transformation in the era of digitalization and crisis. The findings show that MCS not only serves as a control tool but also as an enabler of innovation when designed with a balanced approach. This research identifies research gaps in the context of family companies in Indonesia, the implementation of MCS in conditions of extreme uncertainty, and the role of digitalization in MCS transformation for sustainability. The results of this review provide theoretical contributions in understanding the dynamics of MCS and practical recommendations for managers in designing control systems that support innovation and sustainable performance.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, informatics education plays a crucial role in equipping students with 21st-century competencies. However, at SMP Islam Al-Fattahiyyah, Grade IX students show low interest and achievement in this subject, with most failing to meet the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). This situation prompted research to examine the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model as an alternative instructional approach emphasizing student activity, collaboration, and contextual material application. The main objective of this study is to determine the extent of PjBL’s influence on student learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative method with an associative design, involving 140 students from a total population of 215 through simple random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation of midterm exam scores. Statistical analysis revealed a t-value of 4.743 with a significance level of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant effect. Most students expressed a positive perception of this learning model. These findings confirm that PjBL not only enhances cognitive abilities but also enriches students’ learning experiences in a more meaningful way.

Abstract

The This study aims to develop an instructional video using the AVS Video Editor application on the topic of Arab Civilization in the Islamic Cultural History subject for Grade X students at MA Al Fattahiyyah. The background of this research is based on the need for engaging and interactive learning media to improve students’ understanding of historical content.The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Questionnaires were distributed to media and content experts to assess the quality and feasibility of the video, and to students to gather their responses to the developed media. Observations were carried out to examine student engagement during the learning process, while documentation was used to collect supporting evidence throughout the development process.The results show that the instructional video developed in this research is considered "highly feasible" with a feasibility score of 86%. This indicates that the instructional video using AVS Video Editor is effective in helping students better understand the topic of Arab Civilization in an appealing and accessible way.

Abstract

This research to evaluate impact of Net Profit Margin (NPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Debt to Total Asset Ratio (DAR), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on the stock value of coal mining sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019–2023. The sample comprises six firms selected through a non-random procedure using predetermined criteria in accordance with the purposive sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS. The findings indicate that NPM, DAR, and TATO individually exert a significant effect on stock prices, whereas OPM does not display a statistically significant influence. Collectively, all independent variables demonstrate a significant impact on stock prices, as reflected by an F-statistic of 9.256, which surpasses the F-table value of 2.76. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.597 shows that 59.7% of the variation in stock prices is accounted for by the combined variables NPM, OPM, DAR, and TATO, while the remaining 40.3% is attributed to external factors.
