Abstract

Internship/work practice is a form of lectures through work activities directly in the world of work. This internship program aims to improve and hone skills and deepen understanding as well as work motivation in the development of soft skills and hard skills. The method used in the implementation of the apprenticeship method is data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation carried out at Galih Ukir related to the creation that is carried out. The implementation of the internship is carried out by the creation process using the method of crafting according to Gustami, which is divided into 3 stages in the creation process, the exploration stage includes data collection and extracting ideas. Second, the design stage includes pouring out ideas in visual form in the form of basic sketches, alternatives and working drawings. Third, the embodiment stage, namely making it happen through the processing of raw materials, assembling, engraving and finishing. The result of the internship at Galih Ukir was getting an understanding and training on the creation of kuwadi door products with modern concepts without losing the traditional character. So that a kuwadi door is created with a modern concept that is decorated with a combination of North and South Bali ornaments with a white wash finishing technique so as to create an antique impression on the product.

Abstract

Preservation and protection require real action from all of us, therefore the author chooses the general concept carried by the Terramic Bali company, namely the Bhumi concept. By studying from upstream to downstream in running a company, the author hopes to be able to replicate it as a form of independent work opportunity. Every design that carries the Bhumi concept is accompanied by a design lighter idea. The starting idea for the founding of the Terramic Bali company was ancient irrigation. Adopting the creation method from Gustami Sp, namely: 1) Exploration, 2) Design, and 3) Embodiment, it can be seen that the result of the creation is a company engaged in ceramic crafts with distinctive branding. The Business Model Canvas (BMC) of the Terramic Bali company is a simulation of the author's company in an internship program at the Tri Surya Keramik company. The Tri Surya Keramik company is concerned with a digital marketing system as a surefire solution to the Covid-19 pandemic, one of which is Instagram. The company Terramic Bali produces products based on the Bhumi concept, as a design concept to product embodiment and the concept of Earth Tones color which refers to the company's goal, namely: the Environmental Awareness Movement. The products are named Pengalapan, Jelinjing, Cakangan, and Aungan. Storytelling is a strong asset that is used as a means of promotion and education to customers.

Abstract

Teaching Assistance in the Independent Learning-Independent Campus (MBKM) program has a goal, to be able to carry out sharing activities in the field of knowledge in educational units. This study aims to analyze the ability to make ceramics by class XI students majoring in Ceramic Crafts at SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati. The problem focuses on 2 aspects, namely: 1) the ability to make ceramics for class XI students in terms of the intellectual aspect of ideas, and 2) the ability to make ceramics for class XI students in terms of technical mastery. Based on the results of research on the ceramic works of class XI students majoring in Ceramic Crafts, there is still a need for much improvement. Of the 5 samples studied, only a few got good marks, and the rest got sufficient marks, from the intellectual/idea aspect 4 works got good marks, and 1 work got good marks. enough, while from the aspect of technical mastery, 3 works got good marks, 1 work got very good marks, and 1 work got enough marks.

Abstract

Teaching asistency activities in the State High School 2 Sukawati with the material "Utilization of Sand as Ceramic Material Making Class Xii Kriya Ceramics" aims to foster creativity, innovation and initiative from students in creating new ceramic works because based on observations from the authors of the work produced is still monotonous with form, material, same decoration and coloring. In addition to developing the potential for ceramic xii craft students in creating works, this teaching asistency activity has a focus on an experiment in the use of sand material.  The results of this experiment are expected to provide references in increasing the educational cauldron in other practical learning processes as well as schools can support teachers to create more varied media to produce more innovative work. can make it easier for teachers to further enhance the creativity and innovation of the work of students. In this activity the author uses qualitative methods, data collected through interviews, observations, and document studies and uses experimental demonstration learning methods for the development of student-splifting creativity. It was concluded that using experimental demonstration methods applied to students produced quite good results. The use of soil mixed with black sand has good results based on the work students make in the form of vases and sugar holders.

Abstract

This creation was made with the aim of developing one of the decorative styles in Galih Ukir with the title: "Development of Galih Ukir Pare Leaf Motifs as Ornaments for the Embodiment of Kuwadi Doors". From the explanation of this title, a design development will be carried out, especially from the Pare decorative motif found in Galih Ukir so that we look forward to a new motif from the results of this development which will be applied to the kuwadi door product. In addition to the development of the ornamental pare leaf motif in Galih Ukir, the problems that must be solved are the production process of the kuwadi door during the internship/work practice, the form of development of the bitter melon leaf motif, and the finishing techniques applied to the kuwadi door work. In creation using the methodology, it is generally described in terms of exploratory, experimental, and driven by real issues identified in the practice of the work and reinforced by the theory of the three pillars of craft creation formulated by SP Gustami such as exploration, planning, and embodiment. In the discussion it can be concluded that the implementation of the creation of a kuwadi door with the motif of developing bitter melon leaves with the production process or the realization of a kuwadi door is carried out through various stages starting from the design stage, the material processing process, to the final stage, namely the finishing stage, so that a kuwadi door with a development motif is realized. bitter melon leaves in Galih Ukir. And during the implementation of the internship, the knowledge gained is related to knowledge, skills and technology in the realization or production process of kuwadi doors with ornamental motifs of developing bitter melon leaves.

Abstract

Internship / work practice is a practical activity for students with the aim of gaining experience from these activities, which can later be used as a professional development for students. This activity is carried out directly in the world of work for real. As for this internship activity the creator does on the CV. Tarum Bali Sejahtera in Gianyar Bali.This place of business is dabbling in textiles, especially batik and natural coloring. The method of creation used in the creation of the work of this apprenticeship process is through two approaches intuitively, and through carefully planned, analytical and systematic scientific methods. In the method refers to the theory of creation proposed by SP. Gustami in his book entitled "The process of craft art creation: methodological strands" explains the process of creating craft works through three pillars of creation such as exploration, experimentation, and formation of Gustami, 2004: 31 (in Kusyati, 2019:22). The concept of creating this work is to make a work in the form of batik which is the result of collaboration between batik tulis with canting, as well as brushes as additional decorations in the making of batik works. The process of creating batik writing works is done through the design stage, namely digging up the idea that will be created next is the manufacturing process that is through the steps of making motifs, copying motifs on fabric, cutting, coloring, locking and roding. This work is in the form of batik with typical balinese bondowoso coffee motifs, kawung and machete motifs of central Java, slopes of West Java, kakul - kakulan, Samblung patra and balinese poleng fabric, Shaho khas Balikpapan and the addition of motifs in the form of truntum, cecek 5, ceccek 7, ukel sawut and ukel - ukelan. Coloring uses natural colors with a fixation in the form of tunjung and alum.

Abstract

Internship activity is a process for students to develop the knowledge they have or get in college and add knowledge to a job or project that is worked on by a company or craftsman. And still related to the field. The reason for choosing BTIKK BPPT Bali as an internship place is because this institution is engaged in ceramics and is still related to the education that the author took in lectures, namely in the field of ceramics, besides that the author wants to add new insights or new knowledge about the world of ceramics and also wants to develop skills which are owned. Another reason is that there are problems that the author faces related to ceramics, the problems include a lack of understanding about decorating techniques, types of decorations, and so on. The method of implementing the MBKM internship is carried out in the initial stages, namely surveys and preliminary research. Proceed to the next stage, namely starting to carry out internship activities. At this stage, the author began to learn related to the production process at BTIKK BPPT Bali, such as forming a ceramic body, decorating ceramics, and also glazing. The technique used in this data collection uses techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The writer hopes that with the Merdeka Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) internship, students can gain new knowledge related to the field in which they student is involved.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the form, manufacturing process and philosophy on kuwadi doors as elements of traditional Balinese architecture.This research was conducted at PT. Sraya Bali Style in the odd semester of the 2021-2022 school year. Research data is collected by conducting observations, interviews, documentation and library studi. The study was analyzed with a qualitatively transcribed approach. The expected results get an overview related to the shape, process of embodiment and philosophy of kuwadi door as one of the elements of traditional Balinese architecture. The author hopes this research can provide an overview in the form of science related to the existence of traditional Balinese architectural elements, as a foothold in the realization and knowledge of the younger generation (millennials) of Bali about the existence and preservation of traditional architecture that needs to be maintained and applied in relation to the embodiment guidelines that have existed since time immemorial.

Abstract

In the method refers to the theory of creation proposed by SP. Gustami in his book entitled "the process of creating craft art: methodological strands" explains the process of creating craft works through three pillars of creation such as exploration, experimentation, and formation. Gustami, 2004:31 (in Kusyati, 2019:22). The concept of creating this work is to make works in the form of jewelry which is the result of the learning process that is obtained at the internship. The process of creating works in the form of jewelry is carried out through the design stage, namely exploring the ideas that will be created. Next is the manufacturing process, namely through the steps of making alternative designs, 3d designs and printing. The result of this work is a master 3D of earring jewelry by applying lotus and sunflower motifs.

Abstract

An internship is a form of lecturing in the MBKM curriculum where students are given the means to carry out lecture activities that are carried out outside the institution. Through this internship program, students are directly involved in the world of work. This internship is a practical activity for students with the aim of gaining experience from these activities, which can later be used for professional development. The internship program is a learning activity as well as training for students so that they can understand theoretically and practically certain areas of expertise gained through direct work activities in the world of work as a form of work experience for students of the internship program (Raira, 2018). This work internship was carried out at the Deni Jewelry company in Denpasar, Bali. Currently, Deni Jewelry has a variety of decorations and types of products. one of the triggers is market demand that is always growing so this must always be with quality products in order to maintain consumer confidence. Wax carving/wax carving is a process that requires special skills in the manufacture of silver jewelry. this process is one of the determinants in realizing aesthetic silver jewelry at Deni Jewelry. The touch of the hands and the skill of the artist in shaping the wax can be "imprinted" on the product for decades or even hundreds of years to come. The wax carving process requires precision considering that jewelry tends to have small sizes and details. So in the implementation of this internship, I chose Deni Jewelry because the author can dig up information about the knowledge, skills, technology, and management that occur in it, especially the production process carried out by the Deni Jewelry company. By doing an internship at Deni Jewelry, it is hoped that the author will gain knowledge related to the topic, namely knowledge of various silver-making skills at Deni Jewelry.
