Abstract

Concentration of learning in children is how children focus on doing or doing something until the job is done in a certain time. In some 6th grade children at Eben Haezer Family Elementary School have difficulty concentrating which causes a decrease in learning achievement due to the fact that children often play gadgets, experience low thinking levels such as memory disorders, and children have a history of illness since childhood so that teachers who also complain and are confused in improving and overcoming children who have difficulty concentrating when learning takes place. Brain gym is a collection of simple movements that aim to connect or unite the mind and body so that not only will facilitate the flow of blood and oxygen to the brain, but also movements that can stimulate the work and functioning of the brain optimally. This study was conducted to determine the effect of Brain Gym on the level of learning concentration in students at SDS Eben Haezer Family. This study is a quantitative research pre-Experimental approach one group pre-post test with a sample of 21 respondents with a total sampling technique. Analysis of the data in this study using the Wilcoxon test with the analysis test obtained the value of p value =0.000 (p<0.05) so that the conclusion of this study there is the influence of Brain Gym on the level of concentration of learning in students at SDS Eben Haezer Family.

Abstract

Mother's milk (ASI) is a source of food for babies which is useful for the growth and development of babies. Providing breast milk for 6 months to newborns is the gold standard for baby feeding recommended by WHO. Even though breastfeeding is very important for babies, mothers also often experience failure in providing exclusive breastfeeding. This research aims to describe the characteristics and knowledge of mothers regarding exclusive breastfeeding for babies aged 0-6 months at the Doro I Community Health Center. This research is a descriptive quantitative study, data collection uses Cluster Sampling where the sample is grouped based on region (Posyandu) or population location by 65 samples. This research instrument uses a Knowledge Questionnaire about Exclusive Breastfeeding adopted from (Septianingrum, 2018) consisting of 19 questions. For favorable questions the "correct" answer is given a score of 1 and "wrong" is given a score of 0, while for unfavorable questions the "correct" answer is given a score of 0 and "wrong" is given a score of 1. The instrument is valid with a correlation number (r-count) > 0.444 so it is said to be valid while the Cronbach's Alpha value and reliability are 0.984. The data analysis used was univariate in the form of a percentage frequency distribution. The results showed that all mothers of babies aged 0-6 months at the Doro I Community Health Center (Puskesmas) were all respondents (100%) aged 15-49 years, 23 respondents (35.4%) had a high school education, 58 respondents (89.2) did not work and 46 respondents (70.8%) had ever breastfed. Mothers' knowledge about giving exclusive breastfeeding to babies aged 0-6 months at the Doro I Community Health Center shows that all 65 mothers (100%) of respondents have good knowledge about giving exclusive breastfeeding to babies aged 0-6 months. The conclusion obtained is that mothers' knowledge about giving exclusive breastfeeding to babies aged 0-6 months at the Doro I Community Health Center shows that all respondents, 65 mothers (100%) have good knowledge about giving exclusive breastfeeding to babies aged 0-6 months.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease in which glucose levels in the blood are high because the body cannot use enough insulin. Diabetes mellitus has increased significantly both at the world and regional levels. The high incidence of DM has an impact on physical and psychological problems in DM sufferers. One of them is the impact of DM complications and anxiety. Spiritual support is a belief in a relationship with the Almighty, the Almighty Creator and spiritual support can influence the adaptive coping of someone who experiences psychological problems, one of which is anxiety. This study aims to analyze the relationship between spiritual support and anxiety levels in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This research design uses a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples in this study was 71 respondents with data collection techniques using purposive sampling. The statistical test used is the Spearman rank test. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between spiritual support and the level of anxiety in type 2 diabetes mellitus sufferers at the Tlogosari Wetan Community Health Center in 2024 with a significant p value = 0.001 and a correlation coefficient r value (– 0.402). It was concluded that the strength of the relationship between spiritual support and the level of anxiety is a moderate relationship, namely in the range 0.40 - 0.599 with a negative correlation direction, which means that the higher the spiritual support, the lower the level of anxiety.

Abstract

Determination of total flavonoid levels is calculated based on the linear regression equation based on the calibration curve of the quercetin standard solution from the reading results of the UV-Vis spectrophotometry tool. The absorbance value (ppm) is entered into the linear regression formula as the y value, while the x value is the concentration of flavonoids in the working sample solution. The results are stated in triplicate and the flavonoid content is stated with the equivalence of flavonoid standards using quercetin standard standards, qualitative and quantitative research methods to determine metabolite compounds and determination of levels using UV-vis spectrophotometry. Qualitative testing is carried out by taking a thick extract and adding reagents according to the identified compounds. Based on the results of the tests carried out, it shows that alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid, triterpenoid, tannin, and saponin compounds show positive results while quinone compounds show negative results. Quantitative testing From the results of this study, the total flavonoid content of the ethanol extract of itching leaves (Laportea stimulans) was 175.961%. Based on the results of qualitative tests, it shows that the ethanol extract of itchy leaves (Laportea stimulants) positively contains several compounds including alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, terpenoids, tannins, and saponins which are indicated by changes in color. Based on the results of quantitative tests, it shows that the determination of the content of 95% ethanol extract of itchy leaves (Laportea stimulants) spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 430 nm has an average total flavonoid content of 0.2999%.
