Abstract

Empathy is the root of morality and should be taught to children. The best place to teach empathy is in the family. Parents are in the very right position to teach empathy to their children. This research article intends to maximize the role of parents in growing children's empathy in Christian families. By using the method of description and literature review to support the description of Bible stories related to empathy, the importance of empathy for children, and the role that parents can play in fostering empathy in children. It is concluded that parents are able to play a maximum role in fostering children's empathy when they understand that parents are the main system in educating children, being proactive, having sensitivity, and positioning themselves to act as coaches for children's empathy.

Abstract

Aims to describe the attention of farmers to their children at home as an effort to improve their learning achievement at the Boentuka Inpres Elementary School, Batuputih District, South Central Timor Regency. This research uses descriptive research method. Then the research results obtained are Family life experience shows that parents, especially in Boentuka Village, most parents are getting less and less with their children because of their busy schedule to meet the increasingly complex needs of life. This is related to the level of learning achievement achieved by children in school. Efforts to improve children's learning achievement is a complex matter because many parties are involved in it, as well as being a factor that affects the achievement of children's learning achievement levels, especially students who come from farmer family backgrounds who are studying.

Abstract

Generation Z with its uniqueness is often a challenge for parents (Millennial generation) in accompanying them. Generation Z is in transition and the digital context that is abundant in information and communication media often makes them carried away by negative currents. Therefore, parental assistance is needed that can be used as a reference. This paper aims to help generation Z parents by offering the attitudes of Z generation parents in accompanying their children. This paper uses a relevant literature study research method. The results of this study are to offer the attitudes of parents in accompanying children, namely: loving children, understanding and knowing children, being present, discernment, speaking, being an example, giving freedom to choose, giving praise, liberating, willing to accompany in a life of faith. In an effort to educate Generation Z, parents can apply several mentoring attitudes. The recommendation of this paper is the attitude of parents in assisting the Alpha generation.

Abstract

The level of education of Sunday school teachers is one of the important factors for Sunday school teaching competence. As a Sunday school teacher who is professional in his field, he is expected to have good teaching competence as well. To determine the effect of education level on the teaching competence of Sunday school teachers at the Bethel Tabernacle Church (GBT) in Lampung Province, a study was conducted regarding this matter. The purpose of this study was to see whether there was an effect of teacher education level on their competence. If the level of education is low, the teaching competence is low, and vice versa. With a quantitative approach, data collection techniques through questionnaires with a Likert scale, and data processing using SPSS obtained a correlation number of 0.308. Based on the correlation coefficient table, this figure is included in the low category. That is, there is a low correlation between Education Level (X) and Teaching Competence (Y). Meanwhile, to see how much the X variable contributes to Y, the determinant coefficient test is carried out and gets a figure of 9.5%.

Abstract

Many Christian education school organizations and Christian religious colleges act in a less Christian way than some public education schools and public colleges, this is because most Christian education organizations lack clear benchmarks of success and Christian organizations usually emphasize on mutual allegiance to a higher purpose. Along with these problems, especially in the governance of the organization of Christian religious education schools and colleges, the ISO 21001:2018 standard has been present for the first time in the world which provides guidance to assist education service providers in providing better services. implementing ISO 21001:2018 is an educational organization that has implemented its education governance with TQM. This study uses a literature study that specifically looks at the eleven quality management principles that are the foundation of the management system of educational organizations in the world and the benefits that can be obtained by schools and colleges and how the strategies are applied, so that the governance of Christian education schools and Christian religious colleges can more quality. The eleven principles of quality management in the management system of educational organizations are: First, Focus on students and other beneficiaries. Second, visionary leadership. Third, HR Engagement. Fourth, the process approach. Fifth, continuous or continuous improvement. Sixth, evidence-based decisions. Seventh, Relationship management. Eighth, social responsibility. Ninth, Accessibility and equity. Tenth, ethical behavior. Eleventh, data protection and security.

Abstract

The fundamental problem of this scientific work is the Religious Behavior of Christian Teens Alcohol Consumers at the GPIBK of the Imanuel Taepa Congregation and the influence of Christian values ??on adolescent alcohol consumers in the GPIBK of the Taepa Congregation. The aims of this study include: to find out how the religious behavior of Christian teenagers who drink alcohol at GPIBK Imanuel Taepa congregation and how the influence of Christian values ??on adolescent alcohol consumers. In this study, the authors examine the problem using qualitative methods using a case study approach for field exploration with the aim of gaining more knowledge in a situation or a case. And the population that chose the author was 17 people, 14 teenagers, 2 councilors, 1 person and the sample was 7 people. The author uses several sources such as books, journals, and other media as sources of information. As for the results of the study, the authors found that the religious behavior of Christian teenagers who consume alcohol in terms of loving God, loving others and loving themselves is not reflected in their behavior as Christian teenagers. Because of the lack of influence of Christian values ??given by parents and even the Church. For this reason, parents and the church must play an active role in teaching Christian values ??and being an example for teenagers.

Abstract

Saya sebagai [maha] siswa produk pendidikan baku Indonesia selama ini mengalami kemandulan ilmu pengetahuan karena sistem ‘doktrin’ sesuai dengan kepentingan yang berlaku di dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia. Belajar dari prinsip anything goes, Feyerabend membongkar semua proyeksi kesatuan ilmu dan teori di dalam kepelbagian realitas menjadi ruang terbuka untuk kajian-kajian atau teori yang lainnya. Kebebasan adalah kata yang tepat untuk mengekspresikan dan mengaktualisasikan diri manusia itu sendiri dengan yang lain. Sistem Pendidikan yang di dalamnya terdiri muatan ilmu pengetahuan adalah upaya membebaskan manusia, tetapi terjebak dalam sistem yang memperbudak. Siswa tidak lagi belajar ‘untuk’, tetapi belajar ‘dari’ yang mengekang dirinya sebagai manusia bermain (homo ludens) dan belajar. Saya membandingkan pendidikan Finlandia dengan Pendidikan Indonesia, sebagai upaya yang disebut Nadiem Makarim, perubahan yang serentak dan bergerak.

Abstract

Berdasarkan surfey sebelumnya di lapangan, ditemukan bahwa penerapan perangkat pembelajaran masih berada pada level rendah. Dengan adanya taksonomi Bloom dapat membantu para pengajar untuk menyusun perangkat pembelajaran menjadi lebih baik. Adanya perangkat pembelajaran yang disusun dengan melihat langkah-langkah dan prinsip penyususnan yang baik dan benar dapat membuat tercapainya pembelajaaran yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi kata kerja operasional (KKO) pada rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Kristen (PAK) kelas VII-IX SMP Negeri di Kota So’e Kabupaten TTS berdasarkan taksonomi Bloom, domain kognitif. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan tabel rubrik penilaian. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualititatif dengan metode studi dokumentasi deskriptif. Penerapan KKO pada RPP PAK masih terbatas pada KKO level LOTS yaitu C1 dan C2. Kurangnya penekakan diemensi pengetahuan, unsur audience, behaviour, condition dan degree pada tujuan pembelajaran yang tidak lengkap dan media pembelajaaran yang masih minim berada pada level LOTS serta tidak dicantumkannya ayat Alkitab sebagai dasar dalam pembelajaran PAK. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa RPP PAK yang saat ini lebih menekankan KKO level LOTS, penyususnan RPP PAK tidak mengikuti prinsip-prinsip yang sesuai standar penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran serta kurangnya kreativitas dari pengajar dalam mengembangkan RPP PAK sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman. Kata Kunci: RPP, Taksonomi Bloom.

Abstract

The basic problem of this article is the idea that the learning strategies of Christian religious education teachers must be improved. The problem that often arises is the lack of motivation for PAK teachers to learn to increase professionalism in implementing Christian religion learning strategies according to the needs and conditions of students in class. The purpose of this research is that PAK teachers can carry out learning with strategies that have a positive effect on the development of a fun learning environment and have a good impact on students' personalities in navigating the values of Christian religious education for life. In this study, the authors used a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The research results obtained several principles of building a conducive learning environment, namely: structuring study rooms, teaching and learning atmosphere, communication and social relations, being a fun PAK teacher, letting students be creative, agreeing on rules together to create a conducive learning atmosphere so that students succeed in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the teacher's language style for students' interest in learning about Christian religious education at the Inpres Oenoah Elementary School. The method used in this research is qualitative research, to be analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The data sources in this study were 6 people at the Inpres Oenoah Elementary School using the results of observations and interview guidelines. So the results obtained during the study were the relationship between the teacher's style of language for students' interest in learning, according to the results of observations and interview guidelines that in teaching Christian religious education teachers often used high language styles in the learning process, however, in learning teachers used high language to motivate students in learning so that students are not easily inclined to follow Christian religious education learning.
