Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of job protection, legal protection, social protection, and economic protection on the performance of Indonesian Migrant Workers from Central Java working in Taichung City, Taiwan, who are registered with the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI). The study also aims to provide empirical evidence on the role of each type of protection in improving the performance of Indonesian Migrant Workers. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The research was conducted online (questionnaire survey) with Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) working in Taichung City, Taiwan. The designated population is Indonesian migrant workers from Central Java working in Taichung City, Taiwan, with a population of 1,120 people. The sample in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 295 respondents who are PMIs from Central Java in Taichung City, Taiwan. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires and analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R2) with the help of SPSS software. The research results show that job protection, social protection, and economic protection have a positive and significant impact on the performance of migrant workers. Meanwhile, legal protection has a significant effect but in a negative direction on migrant workers' performance. These findings indicate that improving the quality of job protection, especially in social and economic aspects, can enhance the performance of migrant workers. On the other hand, the results on the legal protection variable suggest that there is a need to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing legal protection for migrant workers in the host countries.

Abstract

Push and pull factors have long served as two explanatory poles in entrepreneurial motivation research. Jodyanne Kirkwood's (2009) model proposes an integrative approach that transcends this conventional dichotomy by demonstrating that both factors operate simultaneously within entrepreneurs. This systematic review aims to map how push and pull factors are operationalized in the literature, to identify the factor configurations most consistently associated with entrepreneurial interest development, and to evaluate the relevance of Kirkwood's model against recent empirical findings. Following the PRISMA protocol, 186 articles were identified from Google Scholar, Scopus (open access filter), and DOAJ; after staged screening, 15 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed thematically. Findings indicate that pull factors, particularly the desire for independence, opportunity recognition, and achievement aspiration, predominate across research contexts, while push factors function more as enabling contexts than sole causal drivers. The push-pull interaction proves more nuanced than previously assumed; this review affirms the relevance of Kirkwood's model while identifying contextual dimensions that warrant expansion, especially in developing-country applications such as Indonesia.

Abstract

This research will explore the impact of implementing the 4DX method, the obstacles experienced, and the efforts made in overcoming obstacles to improve stock accuracy. This research method uses a qualitative approach conducted during one 4DX period. The qualitative method implemented is based on phenomenology. Data collection through interviews and direct observation. Through this method will explore what factors can affect stock accuracy based on 4 factors: focus on goals, identify and overcome obstacles, measure results, and accountability rhythm. The research conducted at PT X provides results that stock control is a staple in the manufacturing industry because it is related to the continuity of the production process. In an effort to improve stock accuracy through the 4DX method requires a computerized documented process and competent operators are needed in their fields. In addition, it is also necessary to have disciplined recording and soft skills owned by employees as a means of encouraging the achievement of company goals. So that in this study the implementation of the 4DX method can affect the improvement of stock accuracy with a result of 99.12%.
