Abstract

Analyzing financial statements is not only to find out whether a company's financial performance is good or bad; it can also be used to determine or build a strategy for future company planning. The type of research we use is descriptive-quantitative. The population and sample used in this study are the company's financial statements from PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk. for the period 2020–2022. By using data analysis techniques that use indicators on each finance, it can be compared between one period and another. Finance PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk. appears to fluctuate towards worsening due to the difficulty in paying both short-term and long-term liabilities.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the factors influencing students' difficulties in using formal Indonesian language in the campus environment. The Research Methodology employed in this study is a literature review method, examining and analyzing relevant literature or sources as research data. The findings of this research indicate that the factors affecting the difficulty of using formal language on campus involve internal and external factors, the influence of foreign cultures, globalization, and educational policies. Academic pressure, changes in communication culture, and shifts in education policies also play a role in creating these challenges for students.

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, perkembangan marketplace di Indonesia telah memengaruhi pertumbuhan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) secara signifikan. Fokus utama dari laporan ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi dampak-dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh kehadiran marketplace terhadap pertumbuhan UMKM di Indonesia, khususnya dalam aspek penjualan, penetrasi pasar, efisiensi operasional, dan daya saing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi literatur dengan menganalisis data relevan yang telah dikumpulkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya dampak dari marketplace terhadap pertumbuhan UMKM Indonesia sangat bernilai positif. Dampak yang diberikan marketplace terhadap pertumbuhan UMKM di Indonesia meliputi dampak terhadap penjualan, dampak penetrasi pasar, dampak terhadap efisiensi operasional dan dampak terhadap daya saing.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Customer Service Chatbot for Larisma Journal Publisher that can effectively answer questions and reduce response time to questions that are often similar. This research will design a Chatbot system that can facilitate users in interacting and finding information related to journal publishing, by applying Natural Language Processing. This chatbot system uses training data collected from various questions commonly asked by authors to produce accurate information, with data analysis methods involving preprocessing, training and model building. Testing the accuracy of this chatbot was carried out by the designer through a terminal in Google Colab by viewing and assessing the suitability between the questions and the answers generated. The test results state that this chatbot is able to provide effective responses by evaluating answers based on keywords in the chatbot, so as to provide the right answers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the business run by Kekondangan.id in terms of market and marketing aspects. This research is a study conducted with qualitative methods using online interview data collection techniques with parties concerned with Kekondangan, id. The results of the business feasibility analysis in terms of market and marketing aspects are said to be feasible because Kekondangan.id has many successful promotional strategies implemented, has attractive brands and name identities, has affordable prices for all the conveniences provided. Kekondangan.id stated that they are Winning Campaign with evergreen business, or the term is timeless because digitalization in the future is more needed than conventional.

Abstract

This study aims to compare consumer interest in choosing Telkomsel and Tri providers. A total of 41 respondents who have experience using both cellular providers were taken as samples using an online survey method. The data obtained were analyzed using a t-test to compare the average consumer interest scores in four aspects, namely price, network quality, customer service, and internet speed. The results of the study showed that overall, consumer interest in choosing Telkomsel was higher than Tri. Telkomsel was considered better in several aspects than Tri. This study provides an overview of consumer preferences in choosing a cellular provider. In conclusion, this study shows that product and service quality are important factors in influencing consumer interest in choosing a cellular provider. This study can be a reference for both providers to improve the quality of customer service, network quality, prices offered, and internet speed to meet consumer needs.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss strategies in increasing the number of customers in Islamic banks. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, which involves collecting data from various sources such as journals and related articles. The results of the study indicate that there are several strategies that can be applied by Islamic banks to increase the number of their customers, including optimal use of technology, use of Islamic fintech, promotion through various media channels, and mergers or consolidations with other banks. In addition, this study also identifies challenges faced in implementing Islamic bank marketing strategies, such as the lack of public understanding of Islamic banks and the lack of quality human resources in the field of Islamic banking.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of determining the preferences of Medan State University students between the Grab and Gojek online motorcycle taxi platforms. This study uses a qualitative method where the author collects respondent data through a questionnaire. The qualitative method is used for the reason of measuring the comparison of online motorcycle taxi platforms used by students of Medan State University (UNIMED). The results of this study indicate that the preferences of Medan State University students vary between Grab and Gojek due to several factors that influence them. From the results of this study, it can be seen that the preferences of Medan State University students tend to choose Grab. Grab is considered to offer more attractive discounts and promos and cheaper prices. Meanwhile, some students choose Grab because it offers a wider variety of payment methods. From this study, we can see that the promotion factor is the thing that most influences student preferences at UNIMED. From both of these platforms, they have positive experiences and satisfaction from consumers and students are willing to recommend Grab and Gojek as online motorcycle taxi platforms to others.

Abstract

This study aims to test the performance of an Expert Advisor (EA) based on the Relative Strength Index (RSI), Moving Average (MA), and lot optimization on 10 popular forex pairs using a swap-free account. The EA is designed to operate on the MetaTrader 5 platform, utilizing historical data from 2021 to 2024. The study employs a backtesting method to assess EA effectiveness across various market conditions. Results indicate that the EA performs best on lower volatility pairs, such as USDCAD and GBPUSD, showing positive profitability and controlled risk ratios. However, suboptimal performance is observed on high-volatile pairs such as GBPJPY and EURJPY. These findings highlight the importance of tailoring EA strategies to pair volatility characteristics to enhance profitability and risk management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan klaterisasi penyebaran Base Transceiver Station (BTS) 4G dan 5G di Sumatera Utara menggunakan K-Means Clustering. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari sumber terbuka Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia. Elbow Method digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah klaster optimal, yaitu tiga klaster. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tiga klaster utama penyebaran BTS di Sumatera Utara: klaster dengan jumlah BTS sangat tinggi (Kota Medan dan Deli Serdang), klaster dengan jumlah BTS tinggi (Asahan, Langkat, Serdang Bedagai, dan Simalungun), dan klaster dengan jumlah BTS rendah (27 kabupaten/kota lainnya). Penelitian ini memberikan informasi berharga bagi pemerintah dan penyedia layanan telekomunikasi untuk mengidentifikasi daerah-daerah yang membutuhkan perhatian khusus dalam pengembangan infrastruktur jaringan internet, sehingga dapat meningkatkan aksesibilitas masyarakat terhadap layanan digital dan mengurangi kesenjangan digital di Sumatera Utara.
