Abstract

A library is an institution or place that has an important role in providing access to various types of information, knowledge and reading materials. High school libraries have a very crucial background as providers of learning resources which provide various types of learning resources including textbooks, references, journals, magazines and digital materials. These learning resources support students in various subjects and encourage them to understand the concept of the learning process better. Currently, the library at SMA Negeri 1 Cengal is currently searching for references in the form of books or other reading sources done manually, namely by involving library staff to look for books that visitors want to borrow or the borrowing process is still carried out using a manual recording process with large books. In this research the author used the extreme programming (XP) method. To overcome the problems mentioned above. Researchers used Extreme Programming techniques in the Agile Methods methodology to build this library information system. The development process is simplified with Extreme Programming, which makes it more adaptable and versatile. It also offers alignment with design and functionality changes, and is easy to handle.

Abstract

The use of drinking water in gallons for consumers at this time in Indonesia has greatly increased. Every day consumers need healthy drinking water and of course it is very easy to get and affordable. Not to mention that at this time it is very difficult to get drinking water products in gallons that actually meet the health standards that have been set. For this reason, a solution is needed to get priority drinking water in gallon packages that are affordable and the results are expected to meet the targets expected by consumers. The method used in decision making in this study can later become a reference for the community in choosing reliable Gallon Bottled Drinking Water where the method used is the AHP Decision Support System, one of the methods developed by Prof. Thomas Lorie Saaty from the Wharton Business School in the early 1970s, was used to find a ranking or order of priority from various existing alternatives and analyzed to determine the priority of drinking water in gallons that would later be used by consumers. The results of the questionnaire research obtained bottled drinking water brands which were consumed by many people in Medan City in this study, namely Aqua 42,9436%, Cleo  35,8243 % and  Le Minerale 21,2321 %

Abstract

Roads are land transportation infrastructures that are used every day by humans both on the surface of the land, below the surface of the land or above the surface of the water. This means that the road is a very important supporting factor in carrying out daily human life, both roads in village and roads in the city. But not all people of Kabupaten Simalungun , especially Kec. Siantar feel that their roads are worth using, but not a few also feel happy that their roads are being repaired. For this reason, the writer would like to know the level of satisfaction of the people of Kabupaten Simalungun, especially Kec. Siantar towards road improvement in their respective areas that has been carried out by the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kabupaten Simalungun. The method that I use is the C4.5 algorithm, also called a decision tree, which uses a tree structure representation, the concept of this decision tree is to collect data, then a decision tree is created which will then produce rules for problem solutions, so that this method can know effectively the level of community satisfaction specifically Kabupaten Simalungun.

Abstract

Catfish is a freshwater fish that is widely cultivated in almost all parts of Indonesia. This is because catfish is one of the leading commodities, and has good market prospects. In aquaculture, disease attacks can be a threat that causes economic losses, and can even experience large losses in terms of crop yields. Advances in expert systems can overcome the problem by designing a web-based computer system that uses databases and programming languages such as PHP-MySQL so that it can help catfish cultivators to diagnose fish diseases. This study aims to detect disease in catfish using the Bayes theorem method. In this study, there were 13 types of diseases, namely Cotton Wall Disease, White Spots, Yellow Catfish Disease (Jaundice), Itchy Catfish Disease (Trichodiniasis), Rupture of Intestines/RIS (Reptures Intestine Syndrome), Smallpox Disease, Ragged Catfish Disease tail fin, fungal attack, brown blood disease, Enteric septicemia of catfish, columnar disease, proliferative gill disease, channel catfish virus disease. The result of this research is the construction of an expert system that can be used as an early diagnosis of disease in catfish. This system is expected to be developed for diagnosis in other fish, in order to provide greater benefits for its users.

Abstract

Currently, the assessment system and trial registration at the Faculty of Engineering Uhamka is still done manually with the help of google forms for trial registration and Excel files for trial assessments. The flow of the file delivery process, which is still conventional, also causes delays in the trial assessment process. This research aims to create a management information system that regulates the thesis trial registration process, assessment, and the process of sending the required files. The assessment system for the thesis trial was made using the prototype method. Starting from collecting and analyzing data through interviews and questionnaires, designing use case diagrams and mockups, and implementing. The making of this website is focused on the registration of thesis examinations for students and the assessment of thesis examinations for lecturers.

Abstract

At the end of 2019 the world was shaken by the Covid-19 outbreak. The Ministry of Education has also implemented a policy of studying at home online or online. When using the online learning system, it doesn't always run smoothly, there must be problems that can occur, namely problems such as students not understanding the material presented by the teacher and many students who only have one Android and there are even students who don't have Android at all, their environmental factors also do not support them to learn with focus. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing the decline in student learning potential during the pandemic using the c4.5 data mining method. The source of the research data was obtained from distributing questionnaires to high school students of the Family College Foundation. In this study, there are five criteria that influence the factors that cause the decline in student learning potential during the pandemic, namely: How to learn, study time, understanding of the material, assignment and environment. The calculation results state that the environmental criteria are the criteria that have the most influence on the factor of decreasing student learning potential. Tests were also carried out using the Rapidminer software and obtained an accuracy of 73.33%.

Abstract

Fresnel Zone is defined as an elliptical-shaped indirect signal point position in the radio wave propagation path where the area is limited by indirect signals, so that it is tried to be kept unobstructed by obstacles. Precise Line of Sight (LOS) and Fresnel Zone calculations have a big influence on WLAN network design. Problems related to height differences and uneven topographic conditions and there are many obstacles in the tower area greatly affect the calculation of LOS and Fresnel Zone for Access Point (AP) placement. Placement of Access Points is a problem in network infrastructure, because improper placement of APs from site A to Site B will result in instability in Signal Strength, Transfer Rate, Bandwidth, Throughput, Packet Loss, Delay, and Jitter, causing user dissatisfaction in using the internet network. The difference in the results of obtaining the calculated QOS parameter values is influenced by the signal strength of each user, the greater the acquisition of signal strength, the better the acquisition of QOS parameters, so that the quality of computer network performance is getting better, different distances affect the signal strength obtained by the user, the farther the user's distance from the BTS, the higher the fresnel zone obtained. Thus, it should be noted that in designing a wireless infrastructure network, it must meet the requirements of Line of Sight (LOS) and a good Fresnel Zone so that the distribution of communication and information becomes more effective.

Abstract

Instagram has been the place to exchange information for years. Now businesses can work with influencers to influence their followers to try their endorsement products by using eWOM referral. Every post that talks about a product/service is called eWOM, whether it is out of free will or paid, and a referral means to refer someone else to purchase something. This research will examine factors that can significantly influence purchase intention. A questionnaire will be given to determine the tendencies and calculate using SEM-PLS. The result shows that purchase intention is significantly influenced by information quality and eWOM referral.

Abstract

Vegetables are very important as a source of nutrition for society and provide various vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants needed to maintain human health. This research aims to predict imported production of vegetable crops by main country of origin in 2024 using the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm. This algorithm was chosen because of its ability to integrate historical data and current information, as well as considering risk factors that impact vegetable import production. Historical data regarding imported production of vegetable crops from the main countries of origin used covers the period 2014 to 2022. The data is processed from customs documents of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (PEB and PIB) and quoted from the Indonesian Statistics Publication. The vegetable import production prediction model was evaluated using accuracy level metrics. The research results are expected to provide reliable and accurate predictions for vegetable import production based on the main country of origin in 2024. The accuracy resulting from this research is 91% and the MSE level is 0.10042088158. Vegetable import production according to the main country of origin based on predicted results is expected to decline when compared with the previous year (2014-2022). These predictions provide a more detailed understanding to stakeholders such as farmers, producers, government and industry players in planning production, managing resources, allocating budgets and making effective decisions. This research also has the potential to contribute to the development of knowledge, especially in the development of more advanced and efficient prediction methods. This applies both to imported vegetable production and to other agricultural sectors, by utilizing the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm.

Abstract

Agriculture is a major source of income and source of livelihood for the people of Indonesia. Ogan Ilir Regency has an area of 2,666.09 km2, out of a total population of 416,549 people, the main occupation status of the residents of Ogan Ilir is 40,505 people self-employed, 45,899 people as temporary workers, 6,805 people as permanent workers, 42,670 people as family/unpaid workers, Of the four main types of work, almost all of them work as farmers, while the remaining 71,055 employees/employees and 11,821 freelancers. The vast area of Ogan Ilir district can be a good potential to improve the economy of farmers. But on the other hand, many farmers and consumers have suffered losses due to problems arising from the long system of selling agricultural products in the Ogan Ilir district. This problem must be resolved immediately, one of the efforts that can be done is to design the UI / UX application for buying and selling agricultural products based on mobile-based Ogan Ilir Farmers Market using the Design Thinking method. The purpose of this study was to design a UI/UX design for an application for buying and selling agricultural products based on the Ogan Ilir Farmer's Market. This research was conducted in the district of Ogan Ilir to be precise at the Office of the Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) Kec.Tanjung Raja using quantitative research methods. The results of this study are the prototype of the Ogan Ilir Farmers Market application and the results of usability testing which contains data on the use of the designed UI/UX design. The conclusion of this study is the result of designing the UI/UX design of a mobile-based buying and selling application from the Ogan Ilir Farmers Market which has been designed to be suitable for use as an initial design for the future development of the Ogan Ilir Farmers Market application. It is said to be feasible because the click error rate is below 50%, which is only 7%, besides that the number of respondents who completed the mission according to the path was also more than 50%, which was 97.8% and was also based on the opinions of 397 respondents who stated that the prototype design had been proper to use
