Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of promotion, price, and product quality on purchasing decisions for Glow2Glow skincare products in Tempe District, Wajo Regency, Indonesia, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative approach involving 100 respondents who were consumers of Glow2Glow skincare products. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, with hypothesis testing conducted through t-tests and an F-test, as well as the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that, partially, promotion does not have a statistically significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a significance value of 0.063. Similarly, price does not have a statistically significant effect, with a significance value of 0.429. In contrast, product quality has a positive and statistically significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a regression coefficient of 0.692 and a significance value below 0.001. Simultaneously, promotion, price, and product quality have a statistically significant effect on purchasing decisions, as indicated by an F-statistic of 42.746 and a significance value below 0.001. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.572 indicates that the three variables explain 57.2% of the variation in purchasing decisions, while the remaining 42.8% is associated with other factors outside the research model. These findings indicate that product quality is the most dominant factor in the research model. Therefore, the company should prioritize product quality improvement while evaluating its promotional strategies and pricing policies to enhance consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Attention Economy on the intensity of digital content consumption and the consumptive behavior of Generation Z students at the Lamaddukelleng Institute. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 83 Generation Z students as respondents. Data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 25, utilizing both simple and multiple linear regression techniques. The results indicate that the Attention Economy has a positive and significant influence on the intensity of digital content consumption, with a regression coefficient of 0.656 and a significance value of less than 0.001. Furthermore, the Attention Economy positively and significantly affects consumptive behavior in the simple regression analysis, showing a regression coefficient of 0.553 and a significance value of less than 0.001. The intensity of digital content consumption also demonstrated a positive and significant influence on consumptive behavior when tested separately, with a regression coefficient of 0.694 and a significance value of less than 0.001. However, in the multiple linear regression analysis, while the Attention Economy maintained a positive and significant influence on consumptive behavior, the intensity of digital content consumption did not show a significant partial effect. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influenced consumptive behavior, yielding an F-value of 36.621 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.478. This implies that the two variables account for 47.8% of the variation in the students' consumptive behavior. The study concludes that the Attention Economy is a crucial factor linked to the intensity of digital content consumption and the consumptive behavior of Generation Z students. These findings underscore the importance of digital awareness and consumption control, encouraging students to adopt a more critical approach when responding to content and consumption stimuli on digital platforms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Telegram Digital Attendance System and work discipline on employee productivity at the Wajo Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Secretariat, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected from 37 respondents via questionnaires. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS version 25. Instrument testing results indicated that all statement items were valid (calculated r > 0.325) and reliable (Cronbach’s Alpha between 0.771 and 0.810). The results show that the Telegram Digital Attendance System did not have a significant effect on employee productivity (β = 0.169; calculated t = 0.978; p = 0.335), whereas work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee productivity (β = 0.549; calculated t = 3.053; p = 0.004). Simultaneously, both variables significantly influenced employee productivity (calculated F = 13.338; p = 0.000), with a coefficient of determination of 0.440, indicating that the two variables explained 44% of the outcome, while the remaining 56% was explained by factors outside the model. These findings suggest that while the Telegram system still serves as a means for recording attendance—and thus should be integrated into performance management—improving work discipline must be a primary focus to enhance employee productivity.
