Abstract

Sukahurip Organic Coffee Plantation has experienced a decline in income due to low profit margins and has minimum product value added. This study aims to design the establishment of a coffee shop to ensure business sustainability by identifying consumer characteristics, analyzing consumer preferences, analyzing product value added, and analyzing business feasibility. The methods used include conjoint method, Hayami method, and business feasibility analysis. The results show that consumers prefer affordable coffee with a balanced flavor profile in terms of acidity and body. The value-added analysis indicates that all product variants provide more than 70% value added and over 90% profit. Non-financial aspects also support the business feasibility, with a strategic location and clearly defined target market. Financial aspects coffee shop business is deemed feasible, with an NPV of Rp383.948.160, IRR of 44%, a net B/C ratio of 3,01 (>1), a gross B/C ratio of 1,35 (>1), and a payback period of 5,55 years. The switching value analysis shows the business remains feasible even under a revenue decline of up to 26,172%, an arabica and robusta bean price increase of up to 245,36% and 278%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how to manage raw material supplies at the Muli Zahwa Banana Chips Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) located in Sungai Langka Village, Pesawaran Regency. These MSMEs are facing several problems, including delays in sending raw materials, limited number of suppliers, as well as immature muli banana raw materials, so that the daily production target of 200 kg cannot be achieved. In February 2025, actual production only reached 2,040 kg from the target of 5,200 kg, or around 38%. The potential production of muli bananas in Sungai Langka Village reaches 133,700 kg per month, while the needs of Zahwa MSMEs are only around 18,200 kg per month. In this research, the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is used to determine the most optimal order quantity for raw materials. The calculation results show that the optimal order quantity is 1.699 kg per order with an order frequency of 14 times per year or 1 times a month. Safety stock is set at 76 kg and the reorder point is 576 kg. By implementing the EOQ method, it is hoped that it can increase operational efficiency, reduce total inventory costs, prevent shortages of raw materials, and improve the smoothness of the production process. This method provides an inventory management approach that is more organized and appropriate to the production capacity of MSMEs, while reducing the risk of wasting raw materials. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a reference for other MSMEs facing the same problems.

Abstract

The Farmers’ Group Association (Gapoktan) Rukun Sejahtera received assistance from the local district government in the form of a Rice Milling Unit (RMU) machine to improve farmers’ welfare in the region. However, the RMU has not yet operated its business optimally. Based on pre-survey data (2025), rice sales at RMU Rukun Sejahtera reached a total production of 91.456 tons, whereas the sales target set for 2024 was 150 tons. This indicates that the sales target was not achieved. As competition in the rice milling industry becomes increasingly competitive, it is necessary to develop appropriate business strategies to ensure sustainability and growth. This study aims to analyze the internal and external factors of the business, determine the business unit’s position, formulate alternative strategies, and establish strategic priorities. The analytical techniques employed include SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) to select the most effective strategies for implementation. The findings of this research identify six strength factors, five weaknesses, five opportunities, and five threats. The SWOT analysis generated three S-O strategies, two W-O strategies, two S-T strategies, and one W-T strategy. The QSPM results rank the strategic priorities as follows: first, “collaborating with farmers to secure rice supply” with a score of 6.78; second, “improving business management through mentoring programs” with a score of 6.60; and third, “creating own products to reach market segmentation” with a score of 6.56. The formulated strategies are expected to enable RMU Rukun Sejahtera to operate its business sustainably in the long term.

Abstract

The development of information technology has led to the emergence of alternatives in consumption activities, one of which is online fruit purchase through e-commerce platforms, which is considered a potential solution. Ease of access and time efficiency are added values for consumers in obtaining horticultural products without having to visit physical stores. However, the level of consumer trust and purchasing interest in online fruit is still uneven, influenced by perceptions of freshness, quality, and product prices. This study aims to analyse the level of consumer interest in purchasing fruit sold online through e-commerce platforms and to identify the factors that influence it. The research was conducted in Bekasi City from June to July 2025 using a survey approach. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling, with a total of 450 respondents. The collected data were analysed using a quantitative descriptive analysis approach and multiple linear regression. The study findings indicate that the level of consumer purchasing interest is moderate. Additionally, the variables of price and product quality were found to have a significant impact on consumer purchasing interest, both simultaneously and partially.
