Jurnal Solusi Masyarakat is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Malikussaleh, Lhokseumawe, Aceh-Indonesia. Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the quality and selling value of processed corn products through the use of digital technology in marketing to the community in Sawang District. In the era of digital economy, digital literacy skills are the key to increasing the competitiveness of local products. However, most businesses and farmers in this region still face obstacles such as low understanding of digital marketing, limited access to technology, and lack of skills in producing promotional content. This training program is designed to answer these challenges by providing practical materials about digital marketing, such as the use of social media, graphic design, product photography, SEO, and the use of e-commerce platforms. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in product quality, participants' digital skills, and micro and small business income. In addition, this activity also encourages the formation of local business networks and changes in the mindset of MSME actors to be more adaptive to technological developments. The sustainability of the program is expected through further assistance and synergy between related parties.

Abstract

To improve the quality of the learning program, an efficient and effective approach in the teaching and learning process is required. Currently, educational strategies have become an essential process to enhance students' intelligence during this pandemic. In the field of education, the development of technology and communication requires training and learning using various methods. This approach involves training and teaching activities that are not limited by time and place, as they can be accessed and processed anytime and anywhere. This process aligns with the policy of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia in overcoming the challenges of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the field of education, the common problem faced is the lack of effectiveness in learning. The methods of delivering materials used are not fully effective in utilizing learning resources. Additionally, suboptimal teaching schedules also affect the students' absorption of the material. Therefore, it is important to implement an approach that combines theory and practice through community service. By doing so, the results of this training will produce innovation in online learning using relevant tools, and enhance teachers' ability to implement self-directed learning approaches.

Abstract

The main problem that occurs in this service is the anxiety found around drug abuse which has touched the very foundation of life in society. The method of implementing service is carried out in the stages of preparation, coaching and counseling as well as monitoring and evaluating activities. The results obtained from this service activity are that it can foster positive values in providing constructive/constructive contributions in terms of preventing drug abuse. To measure the influence on partners (in this case the Padang Sakti Gampoeng community), several methods are applied by the service team, namely: measuring initial knowledge and attitudes, testing knowledge after the seminar, evaluating changes in attitudes and participant feedback. Measuring the influence and impact on Malikussaleh University in carrying out its service, the service team uses several indicators and evaluation methods as follows: developing networks and relationships, increasing reputation, publication and dissemination of results. Finally, to measure the influence and impact on the service team in carrying out service, the team uses several indicators and evaluation methods as follows: participation and attendance, participant satisfaction, impact of participant knowledge and attitudes, collaboration with partners, increased knowledge of the service team, increased cooperation between the service team and partners (Gampoeng Padang Sakti device), and increased reputation.

Abstract

Penguasaan Bahasa Inggris merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting di era global dewasa ini.  Kemampuan berbahasa Inggris yang baik akan menjadi modal yang signifikan  untuk bisa bersaing di masa depan. Di Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris diajarkan sebagai mata pelajaran wajib, namun dengan jam belajar yang terbatas, Selain itu, terdapat kesenjangan antara kemampuan berbahasa Inggris antara para siswa yang tinggal di perkotaan dengan mereka yang bersekolah dan tinggal di daerah yang jauh dari kota atau ibukota kabupaten, seperti di SMA Negeri 1 Langkahan Aceh Utara dan SMA Negeri 9 Takengon Aceh Tengah. Hal ini disebabkan keterbatasan akses terhadap sumber-sumber belajar seperti buku, perangkat teknologi, atau tempat belajar di luar sekolah seperti kursus. Adanya keterbatasan ini juga berdampak pada rendahnya motivasi anak-anak yang tinggal di daerah pelosok untuk belajar Bahasa Inggris yang akhirnya berdampak pada prestasi belajar Bahasa Inggris mereka.  Berangkat dari fakta tersebut, diperlukan  sosialiasi mengenai strategi yang bisa diterapkan dalam rangka belajar bahasa Inggris secara mandiri dengan efektif dan menyenangkan di tengah keterbatasan yang ada bagi siswa yang bersekolah di wilayah yang jauh dari ibu kota kabupaten. Kegiatan ini telah berdampak pada meningkatnya pengetahuan siswa terhadap strategi yang bisa dilakukan untuk belajar Bahasa Inggris secara efektif dan menyenangkan guna meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris siswa.
