Abstract

Dynamic monitoring of toddler nutritional status is a fundamental pillar for the early detection of growth disturbances within rural communities. This study aims to map monthly nutritional status trends based on Weight-for-Age (WAZ), Height-for-Age (HAZ), and Weight-for-Height (WHZ) indicators in Bukit Indah and Wattang Soreang Villages throughout 2025 . The research employed a quantitative descriptive design with a longitudinal approach. Secondary data were collected from routine nutrition surveillance reports from January to December 2025, involving all registered toddlers in the study areas via total sampling . The findings revealed significant fluctuations across all nutritional indicators, peaking between August and October. Stunting cases rose sharply from 86 children in January to 229 in October. Additionally, a double burden of malnutrition was identified, characterized by a simultaneous increase in obesity and undernutrition cases. Spatial disparities were observed, with Bukit Indah Village consistently contributing a higher case burden compared to Wattang Soreang Village . This study confirms that toddler nutritional status is influenced by temporal and seasonal factors. Health promotion practitioners are encouraged to develop a "Strategic Health Promotion Calendar" by strengthening nutrition education in the second quarter (April–June) as an anticipatory measure before peak periods to enhance the effectiveness of village-level interventions.

Abstract

Background : The global burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) continues to escalate, driving the expansion of telemedicine utilization as a transformative and geographically unrestricted healthcare service modality. Objective : This study aimed to comprehensively map the intellectual structure, dominant thematic clusters, and developmental trajectories of global research on telemedicine in NCD management during the period 2022–2025. Methods: An integrative mixed-method approach was employed, combining bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Ten selected articles retrieved from the Scopus and Web of Science databases were included in the analysis. Results: Publication trends demonstrated significant acceleration, with peak scientific productivity recorded in 2024. Five dominant thematic clusters were identified, including: (1) Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus management, (2) cardiorespiratory NCDs, (3) telehealth in primary healthcare services, (4) patient and healthcare provider perspectives, and (5) digital health interventions in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Meta-analytic evidence consistently confirmed the effectiveness of telemedicine in reducing HbA1c levels, decreasing hospital readmission rates, and improving the functional capacity of patients with NCDs. Conclusion: Telemedicine has been empirically established as a fundamental component of global NCD management. However, adoption disparities in developing countries and the limited evidence regarding long-term effectiveness remain key priorities for future research agendas.

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever is a public health problem in tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world. Over the last fifty years the disease, caused by a virus from mosquito bites, has spread with a thirty-fold increase in global incidence. Indonesian people still do not realize the importance of maintaining a clean environment. One of the common problems found is a lack of awareness of maintaining the cleanliness of water containers in the environment where they live. This study aims to find out how dengue hemorrhagic fever (DBD) prevention behavior occurs among housewives in the working area of the Sawah Lebar Community Health Center, Bengkulu City. This research is a qualitative research. The results are presented in the form of descriptive data which is arranged using words according to the results of observations, FGDs and in-depth interviews with informants. There were twenty two informants in this study, namely, twenty main informants who were housewives and two supporting informants. The results of this study show that the informants have implemented dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention behavior with 3M Plus, there are still obstacles in using abate powder which is not available, which makes the mother's behavior lacking in preventing dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF). It is recommended that the Sawah Lebar Community Health Center evaluate the implementation of 3M Plus so that mothers can carry out optimal dengue fever prevention behavior.

Abstract

Background: Sedentary behavior is a lifestyle with minimal physical activity, characterized by the habit of sitting or lying down for a long time. Adolescents are one of the vulnerable groups experiencing sedentary behavior due to high screen time on technology use. Research Objective: To determine the relationship between students' knowledge and attitudes towards sedentary behavior at MTs Miftahul Umam in 2026. Research Method: This type of research is quantitative, with a cross-sectional design. The data collection technique used total sampling with a sample size of 65 respondents. The analysis used was the Chi-square test. Research Results: There is a relationship between gender (p = 0.001; OR = 9.922), age (p = 0.036; OR = 4.796), gadget ownership (p = 0.000; OR = 0.16), knowledge (p = 0.019; OR = 3.946) and attitudes (p = 0.000; OR = 13.778) with sedentary behavior. Conclusion: Sedentary behavior is influenced by gender, age, gadget ownership, knowledge, and attitudes. Therefore, interventions through health education are needed to support physical activity.
