Abstract

This research aims to examine in depth how universities can revitalise their role in encouraging social transformation through community service based on sustainable innovation. Using a qualitative approach in the form of literature review and descriptive analysis, this research analyses 19 selected articles from Google Scholar and other credible online sources published between 1996-2025. The findings show that sustainable innovation in community service programmes has great potential in empowering communities, increasing local capacity, and creating systemic social impact when developed through collaboration between actors, participatory approaches, and the use of science and technology. This study is based on the Triple Helix, Diffusion of Innovations, and engaged scholarship theories that emphasise the importance of synergy between academia, community, industry, and government. Case studies in various parts of Indonesia show the success of innovation-based service models in improving community welfare in a sustainable manner. Therefore, revitalising the role of universities through innovative service not only supports the national development agenda, but also reaffirms the social function of universities as agents of change.

Abstract

The accelerating digital transformation demands the readiness of human resources (HR), especially in the aspect of online marketing, as a strategy to survive and thrive in the digital economy era. This research aims to examine how adaptive strategies in community service activities can be used to improve HR digital resilience through an online marketing technique transformation approach. Using a qualitative literature review method and descriptive analysis, data were obtained from 30 scientific articles and credible sources published in the period 2000-2024, and after a rigorous selection process, 18 articles were used as the basis for analysis. The results showed that an adaptive strategy involving community empowerment, technology integration, and digital marketing training based on local needs, proved effective in improving the digital capacity of the community. Support from the theories of Community Empowerment, Diffusion of Innovations, and Resilience Thinking reinforce that participatory and contextual approaches in community service can encourage community resilience and digital innovation. Case studies from various regions in Indonesia also show the success of online marketing techniques training in improving the digital presence and economic sustainability of local communities. These findings provide an important contribution to the development of community service strategies that are more relevant to the demands of community-based digital transformation.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of humanistic education management in improving the quality of social intervention in community service activities. The humanistic approach in education places humans as active subjects in the learning process and social empowerment, so that values such as empathy, respect for individual dignity, and dialogue become the main foundation in designing social intervention programs. This research uses a literature review method with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. Data were collected from Google Scholar and other credible scientific sites in the period 1951-2025. Of the 30 articles reviewed, 18 were selected through a rigorous selection based on the relevance and quality of the sources. The results showed that educational management based on humanistic principles has been proven to increase the effectiveness, sustainability, and community acceptance of social interventions conducted by universities. This study recommends the importance of integrating humanistic values into the management system of community service programmes in order to produce more meaningful and transformative social impacts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of community service in driving technology-based socio-economic transformation through the enhancement of marketing human resources (HR) quality within the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. Using a qualitative approach through a literature review method, this research analyzes 22 selected scientific articles out of a total of 30 references obtained from Google Scholar and credible academic websites throughout 1989–2025. Descriptive analysis is employed to identify intervention patterns, underlying theories, and tangible outcomes of community service programs focused on strengthening digital and marketing competencies of MSME actors. The findings indicate that the integration of digital technology and participatory community mentoring can improve marketing strategy effectiveness, expand consumer reach, and reinforce the position of MSMEs in the digital economic value chain. These results are supported by the Technology Acceptance Model, Social Cognitive Theory, and Resource-Based View, which position knowledge and capability as key assets in addressing the challenges of digital transformation. This study concludes that community service oriented towards strengthening technology-based marketing serves as a strategic instrument in building MSME sustainability and improving the economic welfare of local communities.

Abstract

This research aims to examine in depth the strengthening of community social and economic literacy through an integrated intervention model approach in community-based service programmes. Using a qualitative literature review method and descriptive analysis, 20 articles selected from 30 literatures collected through Google Scholar and other credible websites (period 1987-2025) were analysed to find patterns, findings, and good practices in community empowerment. This study reveals that the success of improving the social and economic literacy of the community is greatly influenced by the active involvement of the community in the entire service process, from problem identification to monitoring and evaluation. Relevant theories such as Community Empowerment Theory, Participatory Development Approach, Asset-Based Community Development, and Ecological Systems Theory become the main foundation in supporting the implementation of sustainable integrated interventions. In addition, a number of case studies show that a holistic approach involving various social, economic, digital and local cultural aspects can significantly improve the individual and collective capacity of the community. The results of this study provide theoretical and practical contributions for service programme designers to be more structured, inclusive, and have a long-term impact on community independence.

Abstract

The ongoing transformation of education, which demands collaboration, innovation, and rapid adaptation, presents significant challenges to the effectiveness of educational human resources, particularly when interpersonal and organizational conflicts emerge as structural and psychological barriers within school environments. This study is a literature review using a descriptive qualitative approach that aims to analyze the dynamics of conflict management in schools and its contribution to strengthening human resources in the context of educational transformation. Data were collected from 40 scholarly articles published between 1967 and 2025 via Google Scholar and other credible academic sources, then strictly selected down to 22 relevant articles. The review findings indicate that conflict management based on collaborative approaches, transformative leadership, and organizational culture reinforcement plays a crucial role in improving the performance effectiveness of educators and school staff. Analyzed case studies show that schools successfully managing conflicts constructively are able to create a more productive, adaptive work environment that supports the success of school-based community engagement programs. These findings affirm that conflict management must become an integral part of educational human resource development strategies to fully support the national education reform agenda.
