Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to explore students’ perceptions of using Quizizz as a medium for grammar quizzes, particularly in learning the present continuous tense. In the 21st-century educational context, digital tools have transformed the learning environment, enabling students to access materials more independently and engage in student-centered learning experiences. Quizizz, as a game-based teknology platform, offers features such as instant feedback, leaderboards, and interactive quizzes that enhance students’ motivation and engagement. However, not all students adapt equally to technological tools, making it essential to investigate their perceptions. This study employed a descriptive quantitative method involving 32 eighth-grade students from SMP 2 Cimanggu in the academic year 2023/2024. The data were gathered using a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed via Google Form and analyzed through SPSS software. The validity and reliability tests confirmed that all 20 items in the questionnaire were valid (r = 0.544–0.739) and highly reliable (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.929). The findings revealed overall positive student perceptions of Quizizz. For example, in Q1, 75% of students selected “Strongly Agree,” and Q20 achieved the highest mean score (M = 4.53), reflecting enthusiasm and motivation. The overall average score across all items was 4.03 on a 5-point scale, indicating consistent approval. These results support the conclusion that Quizizz is seen as an effective, enjoyable, and motivating platform for grammar learning. This study highlights the potential of integrating game-based learning tools into classroom instruction to enhance student participation and improve English grammar proficiency

Abstract

Penggunaan energi di Indonesia meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan penduduk, sehingga energi tak terbarukan semakin terancam. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan energy terbarukan yang tersedia di seluruh Indonesia, seperti panas bumi, air, angin, bioenergy (Al Hakim, 2020). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi penekanan terhadap kadar abu briket biomassa torefaksi. Proses pembuatannya dengan menggunakan alat pencetak briket dengan sistem pneumatic single acting, bahan yang digunakan yaitu serbuk kayu dan tepung tapioka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu deskriftif kuantitatif kemudian data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini akan dianalisis dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan diagram. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui Untuk kadar abu pada penekanan 40 Psi dengan ukuran mesh-nya 40 yaitu sebesar 7,63%, 60 Psi yaitu sebesar 7,53%, 80 Psi yaitu sebesar 7,54%.

Abstract

This study analyzes factors influencing production and income from gourami cultivation in Sumbergempol District, Tulungagung. Quantitative methods were used with a sample of 55 farmers from a total population of 116 people. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and cost-income analysis. The results showed that pond area, feed quantity, and fry had a positive and significant effect on production, while labor had a negative effect. For income, production costs and production quantity had a significant effect, while education and length of business were insignificant. The average income of farmers was Rp85,086,102 per cycle with an R/C ratio of 1.49, indicating this business was profitable. The study's conclusions emphasize the importance of cost efficiency and optimization of production factors. Suggestions include cost-saving strategies, government support through feed subsidies, and further research with more comprehensive variables for business sustainability.

Abstract

Arabic is a compulsory subject at all Madrasah Diniyah Awaliyah (MDA) schools and is an essential part of the educational institution's curriculum. However, an oddity was found: most students found the teaching and learning process in class difficult and boring. In this case, the researcher conducted an Arabic language learning experiment using the mufrodat method on 23 local MDA students whose additional classes were held at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) in Tanjung Baringin Simarulak village, with the aim of improving the students' speaking skills and incrasing the motivasion and interest of student’s learning at the MDA. This study employed a qualitative approach. This approach was chosen because the process of data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The interviews involved several elements such as teachers and students, while observations were conducted by listening to complaints experienced by students in the environment and observing the surrounding environment, which was characterized by the lack of Arabic language learning facilities. This led to a lack of interest in learning Arabic. Meanwhile, documentation consisted of photos of activities and student summary data. All of this data was carefully collected and analyzed. During the program, researchers found that the Mufrodat method was able to create a high level of enthusiasm among students and also stimulated a strong curiosity about Arabic, resulting in improved pronunciation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi pendidikan moderasi beragama melalui peran penyuluh agama di Desa Sungai Duren dalam menanamkan toleransi di masyarakat. Latar belakangnya adalah pentingnya moderasi beragama dalam mencegah konflik sosial, memperkuat kerukunan, dan menumbuhkan rasa saling menghormati antarumat beragama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah penyuluh agama dan masyarakat desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan moderasi beragama di Desa Sungai Duren berperan krusial dalam menanamkan toleransi dan menjaga kerukunan di tengah masyarakat yang beragam. Melalui kegiatan pengajian rutin, bimbingan kelompok pengajian, kelompok pengajian besar, khotbah Jumat, dan bimbingan bagi mantan narapidana, penyuluh agama berperan sebagai pendidik, konsultan, dan advokat, menanamkan nilai moderasi melalui pendekatan edukatif, persuasif, dan advokasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penyuluh agama tidak hanya sebagai penyampai ajaran agama tetapi juga penghubung dengan kebijakan negara dan promotor kerukunan sosial. Oleh karena itu, Desa Sungai Duren dapat menjadi contoh moderasi beragama yang baik di Provinsi Jambi.

Abstract

This research examines the digital advertising video production process via Instagram at Universitas Indonesia Maju (UIMA). The study is based on the use of the official Instagram account @uimaofficial as a visual promotional tool for the institution, which, despite its potential, still faces challenges in planning, production execution, and evaluation. The objective is to analyze in detail the stages of pre-production, production, and post-production carried out by UIMA’s marketing team. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. Data were collected through participatory observation, structured interviews with the marketing and social media team, and documentation of digital content. The data analysis used Miles and Huberman’s model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that UIMA’s video production process is not yet fully integrated or strategically aligned. Content production remains inconsistent, Instagram features such as Reels and Stories are underutilized, and post-publication evaluations are not systematically conducted. These findings suggest the need for workflow improvements, enhancement of narrative and visual quality, and the application of structured scheduling and evaluation to present video content more effectively.

Abstract

Low zakat literacy remains a challenge in optimizing zakat collection in Indonesia, especially in rural areas where most of the population works as farmers. Zakat literacy plays an important role in increasing awareness and compliance in fulfilling zakat obligations, particularly agricultural zakat. This study aims to analyze and compare the zakat literacy levels of farmers based on agricultural productivity using the Zakat Literacy Index (ILZ) in Pandansari and Cipetung Villages, Paguyangan District, Brebes Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a comparative method. Data were collected through a questionnaire based on ILZ indicators from Puskas BAZNAS. According to Slovin’s formula, the ideal number of respondents was 269, but only 228 valid responses were obtained due to time constraints, geographical challenges, and varying participation. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, normality test, homogeneity test, and the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test. The results show that the zakat literacy level of farmers in Pandansari is in the moderate category (score 62.2), while Cipetung is in the low category (score 58.01). The Mann-Whitney U test produced a significance value of < 0.001, indicating a significant difference in zakat literacy levels between the two villages. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis for the third research question is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of productive waqf at the Darun Najah Pliken Islamic Boarding School, Kembaran District, Banyumas Regency, especially in the Job Training Center (JTC), agriculture and fisheries programs. Productive waqf is a form of utilizing waqf assets that are managed for productive activities to support economic sustainability and the benefit of the people.In this research, a qualitative approach was used to explore the management process, challenges and impact of productive waqf on economic empowerment in the Islamic boarding school environment. Nevertheless, the management of productive waqf has had a positive impact, especially in empowering the economy of students and the surrounding community as well as increasing the independence of Islamic boarding schools. With more structured management and collaboration with various parties, the potential of productive waqf can be developed optimally for sustainable benefits for the people.The research results show that productive waqf management at the Darun Najah Islamic Boarding School involves several important stages, namely planning, resource management, program implementation and evaluation. The JTC’S program is focused on skills training for students and the surrounding community, while the agriculture and fisheries sectors are managed to generate additional income for Islamic boarding schools. The challenges faced include limited operational funds, human resource capacity, and optimal waqf asset management.

Abstract

Liquid organic fertilizer is a fertilizer whose basic ingredients come from animals or plants that have undergone fermentation, and the product is in liquid form. Training on making liquid organic fertilizer (POC) by utilizing household organic waste and agricultural waste was carried out in Blungun Village, Jepon District, Blora Regency, on August 4, 2025. The purpose of this research is to increase the awareness and skills of the Blulung Village community in utilizing organic waste as a basic material for making liquid organic fertilizer (POC). The training method used by the community service team for the community service partners was carried out through several methods, namely the compaction method and question and answer. Through training activities, it is hoped that it can increase the participants' understanding of how to turn unused organic waste into something valuable.

Abstract

Mortgage rights are a form of security interest that provides legal certainty and preferential rights to creditors in the event that the debtor fails to fulfill their obligations. However, in practice, mortgage rights not only affect the parties involved in the agreement but may also impact third parties with interests in the secured object, such as buyers, tenants, or other creditors. Therefore, effective legal protection is necessary to safeguard third parties from potential losses resulting from the execution of mortgage rights. This study aims to analyze the forms of legal protection granted to third parties within Indonesia's mortgage rights system. The discussion covers the principle of publicity in mortgage rights registration, the application of the precautionary principle in transactions, and the role of notaries inensuring transparency and validity of agreements. Additionally, this study examines various court decisions related to disputes between mortgage rights holders and third parties to understand the legal protection patterns applied in practice. The findingsindicate that legal protection for third parties in the use of mortgage rights as collateral can be enhanced through increased transparency in mortgage rights registration, stricter enforcement of due diligence obligations for involved parties, and the optimization of the notary's role in ensuring legal certainty. With improved protection mechanisms, third-party rights and interests can be better safeguarded, reducing the risk of disputes.
