Abstract

This research develops "Smart Gatekeeper," a smart entrance system for automating library visitor monitoring. The system integrates an ESP32 microcontroller with a pair of infrared (IR) sensors for automatic visitor counting and a voice recognition module for basic interaction. Visitor data is displayed in real-time on an LCD and archived in a MySQL database for further analysis, while a DFPlayer Mini module provides voice feedback. System testing shows a 100% accuracy rate in detecting visitor traffic. The implementation of "Smart Gatekeeper" successfully improves efficiency, data accuracy, and adds a modern touch to library services.

Abstract

The New Student Admission (PPDB) process is an essential part of school administration that requires speed, accuracy, and easy access for prospective students and their parents. At Yayasan Al Husna, the manual PPDB process has encountered various challenges, such as delayed services, data entry errors, and time and location constraints. This study aims to design and develop an Website-based PPDB system integrated with the WhatsApp application using native PHP and JavaScript programming languages. The system utilizes a chatbot technology capable of automatically interacting with users through WhatsApp messages, providing information, guiding the registration process, and recording student data in real time. The chatbot is developed with simple AI-based logic to understand user messages and respond according to context, without using any additional frameworks. The backend is built using native PHP, while the interface interaction and dynamic processing are handled with JavaScript. Implementation results show that this system improves the efficiency of the PPDB process, accelerates information services, and simplifies the school's task of managing registration data. Integration with WhatsApp provides user-friendly access without requiring additional applications, making it more inclusive for users from various backgrounds

Abstract

Success in completing construction projects is influenced by many factors that are mutually dependent on each other, one of which is the supply chain. In 2018, the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of West Sumatra Province, Indonesia had 24 road construction work packages. Only 33.3% were completed on time and the remaining 66.7% experienced delays, one of which was due to material delays (Rita et al., 2021). Embankment work on the Solo – Yogyakarta – YIA Kulon Progo Toll Road Project Section I Package 1.2 cannot be separated from the potential for delays. The supply chain is a special concern for this project, because the large material requirements and the difficulty of finding landfill material that meets specifications can become obstacles if the risks in each process are not managed well. The instrument used is Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), namely by identifying failures in each process and the impacts that can occur on the activities carried out, so that mitigation actions can be determined to minimize risks that may occur. The research results showed that there are 5 supply chain activities for earth embankment work, namely raw materials, suppliers, manufacturing, distribution and consumers. There are 41 risks divided into 3 risk levels. At the raw material stage there are 4 medium risks and 2 high risks, at the supplier stage there are 7 medium risks, at the manufacturing stage there is 1 low risk and 6 medium risks, at the distribution stage there are 2 low risks and 11 medium risks, and at the consumer stage there are 8 moderate risk. There are 47 control measures which are divided into 5 aspects, namely Man, Money, Machine, Material and Method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran mahasiswa dalam mengedukasi siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 1 Barumun Tengah tentang produk musyarokah sebagai upaya meningkatkan literasi keuangan syariah di kalangan generasi muda. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap mahasiswa pelaksana kegiatan serta siswa-siswi kelas XII 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa berperan sebagai fasilitator, motivator, dan pendamping yang efektif dalam menjelaskan konsep musyarokah, baik secara teori maupun praktik, sehingga siswa memperoleh pemahaman lebih baik mengenai prinsip kebersamaan, keadilan, dan kerja sama dalam sistem ekonomi Islam. Edukasi ini terbukti memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman siswa dan memperkuat sinergi antara perguruan tinggi dengan sekolah dalam mengembangkan literasi ekonomi syariah.

Abstract

Hydroponics is a modern agricultural innovation that enables plants to grow in a controlled environment, ensuring optimal productivity and quality. Melon (Cucumis melo L.) was selected as the research commodity due to its high economic value and continuously increasing market demand. This study aims to analyze the business feasibility of hydroponic melon cultivation at Green House Kebun Kita in Kediri Regency. The research employed a descriptive quantitative analysis, collecting data on production costs, revenue, and profit, and utilizing financial indicators such as the Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) and the Break-Even Point (BEP). The findings indicate that the business is profitable and feasible to operate, with a total revenue of IDR 287,000,000 and a net income of IDR 216,160,708 per season. An R/C value of 4.05 and a BEP reached at 474.54 units demonstrate high efficiency. The implication of this study is that hydroponic melon cultivation not only provides a strong prospect for profit but also supports sustainable agricultural practices, provided that cost efficiency and price stability are maintained..

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe menyama braya, which underlies harmony in the GKPB Galang Ning Hyang congregation. Menyama Braya is a local wisdom of the Balinese people which means helping one another. The research method used is qualitative phenomenological research and journal analysis. Menyama braya has great potential in maintaining harmony amid diversity. The Balinese people interpret this as loving others as they love themselves. This creates a congregation atmosphere full of harmony, peace, and joy.

Abstract

This study aims to improve overhead passing skills in volleyball through the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) cooperative learning model for 5th-grade students at SDN Datengan 2. This model was chosen because it allows students to think independently, discuss in pairs, and share their understanding in groups, which is expected to effectively enhance their passing skills. This research used the classroom action research (CAR) method, consisting of several cycles with planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observations, passing skill tests, and student motivation questionnaires. The results showed that the TPS model improved students' overhead passing skills, active participation, and teamwork during learning activities. The conclusion of this study indicates that the TPS model is effective in enhancing students’ overhead passing techniques while also fostering social interaction and motivation. This method can be an alternative for teaching Physical Education, especially volleyball.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the position of malls as consumer arenas for urban communities. This is characterized by the phenomenon of 'Rojali-Rohana' ('rarely buying groups' and 'only asking groups'), which is perceived as a reflection of the weakening purchasing power of the urban middle class. However, urban communities demonstrate an adaptive capacity to navigate economic pressures and the absence of public spaces as arenas of contestation. Malls, which originally functioned as consumption arenas, have now transformed into multifunctional spaces: to fulfill the needs of social and emotional interaction, and to stage the battle for identity among urban communities. Through virtual phenomenological analysis, this study found an initial hypothesis: malls have become arenas where the social identity of the urban middle class is constructed, transacted, and negotiated. Malls have now positioned themselves as cultural arenas, social stages, and landscapes for changing urban lifestyles within the ever-changing urban socio-economic dynamics.

Abstract

Stunting remains a major health challenge in Indonesia, including in Selomerto Village, Wonosobo Regency. This study aims to increase public understanding of stunting prevention through the development of an innovative, attractive and nutritious sweet potato ice cream product. The study employed a Participatory Action Research method involving community health post (Posyandu) cadres, village officials, and community service students. The activity involved hands-on training in making sweet potato ice cream and health education related to stunting. The results showed an increase in public knowledge and awareness, particularly among mothers and Posyandu cadres, of the importance of providing balanced nutrition for children. The Cilembu sweet potato ice cream innovation has proven to be a healthy, child-friendly local food option, and has the potential to support government policies to reduce stunting rates. This simple, practice-based educational approach has the potential to be an effective strategy in increasing community participation in stunting prevention efforts.

Abstract

Physical education plays a crucial role in developing students' fundamental movement skills in elementary schools. However, the lack of variation in teaching methods often leads to low student participation and motivation. This study aims to implement and analyze the effectiveness of the interactive game-based media Adventure Motion Track in enhancing students' fundamental movement skills through differentiated learning at SDN Kampungdalem 4. This research employs a descriptive approach using both PTK. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and pre- and post-tests of fundamental movement skills. The results indicate that the implementation of Adventure Motion Track significantly improves students' fundamental movement skills. Furthermore, the game enhances student motivation, active participation, and social interaction in learning. In conclusion, this interactive game-based media is an effective and innovative teaching method in physical education. Through a differentiated learning approach, students can learn according to their abilities and needs, leading to more optimal learning outcomes.
