The Journal of Community Dedication is a national journal which contains the results of community service and empowerment activities in the form of the application of various fields of science including education, engineering, agriculture, social humanities, computers and health. The Journal of Community Devation is published twice a year, namely January and July. The Journal of Community Devation contains articles on downstream research on community organizations, industry and related agencies. We hope that this journal can be used as a means of information for readers and is useful for increasing Community Service activities. Abstract

At MAS Al Huda Pangkalan Susu there is still a lack of communication and openness between the principal and teachers. The principal rarely participates in school activities. There is a gap between teachers and school principals. The principal's lack of communication attitude causes the organizational culture to be poor so that groupings form between teachers. Principals should work together with teachers. Through interpersonal communication, the principal can embrace the teacher as a whole. So that a good organizational culture will be created in the school environment.Research objectives: determine the influence of interpersonal communication on teacher performance, determine the influence of leadership style on teacher performance, determine the influence of organizational culture on teacher performance, and determine the influence of interpersonal communication, leadership style, organizational culture on teacher performance.The research was conducted at MAS Al Huda Pangkalan Susu from January - March 2024. This research is quantitative research, the population and sample size are the same, namely 12 people, using the Totally Sampling method. There is a positive and significant influence of interpersonal communication on teacher performance. amounting to 29.3%. There is a positive and significant influence of organizational culture on teacher performance of 71.0%. There is a positive and significant influence of leadership style on teacher performance of 70.9%. There is a positive and significant influence between interpersonal communication, organizational culture, leadership style together on teacher performance of 78.9%.

Abstract

Educate students to become intelligent human beings and also develop their personalities to have noble character. Therefore, character education is certainly important for all levels, namely from elementary school to university. In general, character education starts from an early age, if a person's character has been formed from an early age, then when they grow up they will not easily change even if temptation or seduction comes very tempting. By providing character education from an early age, it is hoped that we can produce excellent alumni, namely children of the nation who are faithful, devout, have noble character, have expertise in their fields and have character. Based on the results of observations at SD Negeri 050776 Tanjung Pasir, Prabumulih City, there are still many students who are not optimal, therefore it can be seen the description of the character of the students of SD Negeri 050776 Tanjung Pasir, therefore researchers are interested in researching the "Role of Religious Education Teachers." Islam in Shaping the Character of Students at SD Negeri 050776 Tanjung Pasir. Focus This research is about the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping the character of students at SD Negeri 050776 Tanjung Pasir. This research uses qualitative research which leads to an evaluation process of research objects to obtain the necessary data, so the author uses several data collection methods, namely observation, interviews and documentation methods. As for implementing the character formation of students at SD Negeri 050776 Tanjung Pasir, Prabumulih City, PAI teachers are greatly helped by the SOPs created by the school, including: first, namely the superior curriculum aspect of SD Negeri 050776 Tanjung Pasir, Prabumulih City which is applied in the subject, tawhid which is code or characteristics that contain the personality that students at SD Negeri 050776 Tanjung Pasir Kota must have Prabumulih, the third is EA (Excel Appreciation), namely points given to students and are a consequence of students' actions that violate school rules by deducting points every time they violate. From the things above, it will be very easy for PAI teachers to shape the character of students so that they become individuals with character and achieve the goals and expected results.

Abstract

There are various problems faced by fourth grade students at SD Negeri 01 Kajen, many students cannot read connected reading, long and short reading and there are students who are difficult to manage, sometimes these students even don't want to read iqro' or the Al-Qur'an for various reasons such as The iqro' is lost so the student is not fluent when reading and does not pass to read to the next page. The Iqro' method is a medium for learning the Al-Qur'an from the introduction of hijaiyah letters which is adapted based on volumes one to six. It is hoped that the use of the iqro' method will be able to provide good changes for students at SD Negeri 01 Kajen. The problems that researchers put forward in this research include: (1) How is the implementation of the Iqro' method in increasing fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an in class IV students at SD Negeri 12 Sampoiniet? (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the Iqro' method in increasing fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an in class IV students at SD Negeri 12 Sampoiniet? Meanwhile, the objectives of this research are (1) To describe the implementation of the Iqro' method in improving fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an in class IV students at SD Negeri 12 Sampoiniet. (2) To find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the Iqro' method in improving fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an in class IV students at SD Negeri 12 Sampoiniet. (2) To find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the Iqro' method in increasing fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an in Class IV Students at SD Negeri 12 Sampoiniet. This research includes field research and uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation methods. Data sources in research are primary data sources and secondary data. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that the implementation of the iqro' method in improving fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an in class IV students at SD Negeri 12 Sampoiniet includes three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. Meanwhile, internal supporting factors include students' self-motivation and high intelligence factors, while external supporting factors include a good social environment, teacher or ustadz education patterns, and parental supervision and support. Inhibiting factors include relatively short time, lack of teacher educators, and noisy classroom conditions.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of parents in forming the character of students at MI Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Berandan, describe the character of students at MI Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Berandan, measure the influence of the role of parents on the formation of students' character at MI Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Berandan. This research is a type of quantitative research with the subjects being students at MI Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Berandan, as well as with the subjects being students in grades V and VI at MI Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Berandan. Data collection tools include questionnaires, observations and interviews. The data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive analysis and correlation analysis. The main findings of the research show that the results of the correlation product moment calculation show that rcount is 0.938 and rtable = 0.514 at a significance level of 5%, meaning rcount > rtable, so there is a significant influence on the role of parents on the formation of students' character at MI Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Berandan, with the test It is known that the role of parents contributes 88% in influencing the character of students.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, consciously or unconsciously, the influence of technology-based media is very large. Progressively, with the exchange of large amounts of information, the media has influenced all aspects of our lives, although to different degrees. The development of the world of computers has reached very impressive developments. It has been proven that practically all work in the world has been controlled by computers. Just like other fields, computers are also closely related to education. In the field of teaching, computers make it possible to carry out distance learning, or learning without facing each other. However, the problems that arise with glue are not as easy as imagined. For example, in this case, teachers who master the subject matter, most of them are not yet able to present forms of learning on the computer, while computer experts who are able to understand everything on the computer, usually do not master the subject matter. We need software that can help teachers express their ideas into the computer. A multimedia-based teaching method that can help teachers convey lesson material according to the context. Control via computer is required, therefore independent learning or distance learning can be done.

Abstract

In the teaching and learning process, teachers play an important role in improving the quality of education. To produce effective and efficient education, appropriate teaching methods are needed. The application of a method in teaching must be reviewed in terms of its effectiveness, efficiency and suitability to the characteristics of the subject matter and the conditions of the students which include abilities, learning speed, interests, time available and the socio-economic conditions of the students. Apart from that, learning with teaching methods that are appropriate to the material being taught is believed to increase students' learning motivation. The recitation method is a method where the teacher gives certain tasks so that students carry out learning activities. In Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, the maximum learning process of students can be achieved through the recitation method, which can be implemented both inside and outside the classroom and as long as it is in the school environment. The reason for using the recitation method in PAI lessons is because it is felt that there is too much learning material, while there is only a little time available. This means that the amount of material available at a time is less balanced.

Abstract

This research aims to determine efforts to increase students' understanding of fardu prayers through the application of the Role Playing method to class II students at SD Negeri 14 Jaya. This research is descriptive in nature, namely by collecting data, compiling, analyzing data regarding efforts to improve learning outcomes regarding Islamic Religious Education about fardu prayers through the application of the Role Playing method to class II students at SD Negeri 14 Jaya. The research used was classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. The implementation procedure refers to Arikunto where each cycle consists of four components, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 30 class II students at SD Negeri 14 Jaya. The purpose of this research was to determine students' understanding of Islamic Religious Education lessons through the Role Playing method. As a result, students' understanding scores tend to increase if seen after implementing this method. This is proven to be cyclical I moment Role Playing. This was proven to be cyclical I during the pretest with a total of 1885, and an average score of 62.83. Meanwhile, during the posttest the number was 2150, and the average score was 71.66. Then cycle II during the pretest with a total of 2180, and an average score of 72.66. Meanwhile, during the posttest, the total number was 2,470, and the average score was 82.33. After implementing the Role Playing method, students understand the teacher's explanation better and feel happy.

Abstract

Blended learning refers to learning that combines or mixes face-to-face learning and internet-based learning (online). With blended learning and learning independence, students are expected to improve learning outcomes, especially in Islamic Religious Education. The aim of this research is (1) to determine the effect of blended learning on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes (2) to determine the effect of learning independence on Religious Education learning outcomes. Islam: (3) to determine the effect of blended learning and student learning independence together on student learning outcomes. This research took place at SD Negeri 050653 Bukit Lawang. This research is a quantitative study with a population of 244 people and a sample size of 150 people determined using the Slovin method. The research results show that (1) There is a positive and significant influence between blended learning on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes. Blended learning has an influence on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes of 6.1% and the remaining 93.9% is determined by other factors; (2) There is a positive and significant influence between learning independence on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes. Learning independence has an influence on results studying Islamic Religious Education amounted to 6.1% and the remaining 93.9% was determined by other factors; (2) There is a positive and significant influence between learning independence on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes. Learning independence has an influence on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes by 10.3% and the remaining 89.7% is determined by other factors; (3) There is a positive and significant influence between blended learning and independent learning together on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes. Blended learning and independent learning together influence Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes by 16.5% and the remaining 83.5% is determined by other factors.

Abstract

The results of observations before conducting research regarding the initial conditions before the research, showed that children who developed very well and developed according to expectations in the activities studied, namely, paying attention to and understanding explanations about playing percussion instruments reached 25%, carrying out activities playing percussion instruments according to directions reached 31, 2%, playing percussion instruments without assistance reached 37.5%, the suitability of music with playing percussion instruments reached 31.2%. From the overall results of the assessment on observation activities before the research, it was 31.2%. The results of the research in the first cycle were children who developed very well and developed according to expectations in the activities studied, namely, paying attention to and understanding explanations about playing percussion instruments reaching 50%, carrying out activities playing percussion instruments according to directions reached 50%, carrying out activities of playing percussion instruments without assistance reached 50%, suitability of music with playing percussion instruments reached 43.7%. This shows that children's musical intelligence increased to 48.4%. And the results of the research in the second cycle were children who developed very well and developed according to expectations in the activities studied, namely, paying attention to and understanding explanations about playing percussion instruments reaching 81.2%, carrying out activities playing percussion instruments according to directions reaching 75%, carrying out play activities unassisted percussion instruments reached 81.2%, the suitability of music with playing percussion instruments reached 75%. This shows that children's musical intelligence has increased to 78.1%. Based on the results of research on all cycles starting from cycle 1 - cycle 2, it was found that the increase in children's musical intelligence through the activity of playing simple percussion instruments was from before conducting the research, the average ability of children reached 31.2%, the first cycle rose to 48.4%, and the second cycle rose to 78.1% . Thus, it can be stated that increasing children's musical intelligence through the activity of playing simple percussion instruments at RA Nurul Huda has been successful.
