Abstract

Philosophy of science is part of epistemology (philosophy of knowledge) which specifically examines the nature of science (scientific knowledge). Science is a branch of knowledge that has certain characteristics. Philosophy of science is a philosophical study that wants to answer several questions regarding the nature of science, such as, what objects does science study? What is the true nature of the object? What is the relationship between objects and human understanding (such as thinking, feeling and sensing) which produces knowledge. The aim of this research is to know, understand and comprehend the meaning, aims, essence, approach, way of working, foundation, objects, values and uses of philosophy of science. This research uses a qualitative method, namely a descriptive and analytical research method. The results of this research are that philosophy of science is the study of all phenomena of human life and thought critically and described in fundamental concepts. Philosophy of Science is really needed in proving that accidents and phenomena and substances are proven to exist or are possible, because with reason you can prove a substance and that substance is formed from philosophy.

Abstract

This study focuses on explaining the application of how the philosophy of science plays a role in the development of science, especially in the development of Islamic religious science. By discussing the dynamics of scientific knowledge and the model of application of ontology and epistemology of science. The understanding and actions carried out by some Muslims do not reflect the universality and mercy of Islamic teachings. There are some Muslims who are very textual in understanding and practicing Islam, some are secular liberals. In fact, humans were created by Allah SWT with reason. Human thinking is born from human sensory factors towards the universe (physics), religious texts (metaphysics), and social relations (anthropology), as well as things related to the objects of human thought. These thoughts continue to develop according to the times. Like something that originated from a myth into a scientific study with the theories of scientists. Of course, to maintain the value of mercy and universality, the theory must be studied coherently, honestly and purely for a truth in order to maintain the values of the purity of science itself. Philosophy has a role as a discussion of the reality of the journey towards a deep understanding of science. The journey towards a deep understanding of reality involves an understanding of the nature of science itself, how science is obtained, and how science describes reality. So that the philosophy of science plays a role in the formation of scientific concepts and theories, the development of scientific methods, and maintaining objectivity, accuracy, and reproducibility in scientific research. So by understanding and practicing this, Muslims can become a people who adhere to the nash (text), enthusiastically seek the benefits of all realities, and are responsive to all challenges/changes of the times. The author uses a qualitative approach, namely using a descriptive-analytical method from relevant sources.

Abstract

Homosexuality itself is not something new; in fact, it has existed as a societal phenomenon in the past, such as in the cities of Sodom, Amurah, Adma', Sabubim, and Bala'. In this article, we will only discuss the effectiveness of controlling homosexual deviations in Rutan (Detention Center) Class IIB Sukadana. Using qualitative methodology, particularly by studying various literature as analytical material and addressing the issues through narrative form, the research findings indicate that deviant behavior can occur anywhere, both within families and in society. The tendency towards such behavior is influenced by individual personality factors, primarily biological factors such as genetic influences in shaping such personalities. Meanwhile, social heredity is mostly influenced by incorrect forms of socialization. The supportive factors for community leaders in preventing LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) behavior include community participation in combating LGBT behavior and support from the government and religious and formal educational institutions. On the other hand, there are factors that hinder the efforts to minimize LGBT behavior.

Abstract

This study explores Hindu marriage history, system, ritual, rite, type, and interfaith marriage in Hinduism and various castes, and the Bollywood movie industry in India, focusing on the sacred bonds formed beyond religious beliefs. It tries to clarify how Hindu marriage rituals are components of various religions and traditional customs among castes, encouraging inclusivity and peace. This paper uses descriptive qualitative methodology through the analysis of past scholars’ papers, chanting mantras, and the last 120 years of the Indian census for the women and male ratio per thousand. Hinduism embraces diversity and adapts to accommodate various religious and cultural backgrounds, allowing couples to celebrate their love while honoring their respective traditions. Especially in Bollywood, where interfaith marriage is common. The last 10 decades have seen a decrease in the number of women, but according to the 2021 Indian Census, the women's ratio has increased over the last 12 decades. The situation will increase the number of interfaith couples, and interfaith marriage rituals in Hinduism will serve as a bridge between different faiths, promoting unity and understanding among diverse communities.

Abstract

Tourism attractions play a key role in shaping and strengthening the urban identity of the Charikar city. With its rich history and diverse culture, this city features attractions that not only draw tourists but also provide residents with a sense of belonging and identity. Historical monuments, local markets, and cultural spaces are among the essential elements that form urban identity and foster social interactions. Likewise, natural and cultural attractions can serve as instruments to promote public awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and preserving local culture. Finally, attention to tourist attractions can help create a positive image of the Charikar city at the national and international levels, and lead to attracting increased investment in the city. The overall objective of this study is to identify and explore the role of tourist attractions in the urban identity of the Charikar city. The research method is based on the collection of quantitative data, and using field methods to obtain statistical insights, questionnaire distribution has been conducted. To assess reliability, the Cronbach's alpha test was applied, yielding a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.707, which falls within the acceptable range. The statistical population for this study consists of university professors, students, and cultural activists. The sample size comprises 50 individuals, and the data were analysed using descriptive and analytical methods. As a result of the research, we founded that tourist attractions are instrumental in the urban identity of the Charikar city.

Abstract

National integrity is a core aspect of state development, stability and legitimacy. The issue of national integrity becomes especially important in countries such as Bangladesh, where democratic institutions overlap with governance challenges. The article is a qualitative inquiry into some of the key determinants and barriers of national integrity that have been compiled from a broad array of academic and institutional sources. It explores the roles of corruption, institutional trust, rule of law, governance quality, public accountability, civic virtue, and political culture, taking into account recent determinants such as citizen engagement and integrity systems. The paper critically discusses the current discourse and assesses empirical lessons learned on how structural, behavioral, and cultural conditions influence the overall integrity at large (national) scale. By highlighting and analyzing these dynamics, this research illuminates, not just the predicaments and innovations in contemporary Bangladesh, but also wider theories concerning the dynamics of good governance and nation-building. This is the only study employing an integrated approach that combines multi-sectors without primary data to provide an inclusive and well-informed knowledge base, based on confirmed and up-to-date published literature. It fills a critical void in current literature, which has tended to isolate integrity concerns rather
