Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause low learning interest of SMP Negeri 18 Raja Ampat students in learning English. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The study subjects were 45 class VIII A and VIII B students of SMP Negeri 18 Raja Ampat in semester 1 of the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study consist of internal and external factors. Internal factors include students' assumptions that English is a complex subject because memorizing a lot of vocabulary and pronunciation in English is quite complicated. External factors include parents' lack of understanding of the importance of students' academic achievement, geographical conditions that can be a barrier for students to go to school, economic factors that make students prefer to skip school to work, and teachers' less interesting teaching methods.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the Andun dance of the Serawai tribe and the values ​​of community love in that culture. The research method used is literature review using the opinions of experts and previous research. Andun dance is a traditional dance that lives, grows and develops in society. From the past until now it is not known who created it and what year this dance was first danced. People only say that this dance has always existed. Andun dance is a dance that can provide entertainment and directing the audience through the dance performed in the performance, the results of this study indicate that the Andun dance has the values ​​of people's love in the Andun dance culture which shows that it means life in a household. This Andun dance has a deep meaning for the people of Serawai, so the value -The values ​​contained in the Andun dance performance are very noble, including the values ​​of decency, religion, society, ethics and aesthetics. This is not only entertainment that reflects the performance of this traditional dance, but also shows the form of decency and courtesy of the people of Serawai. This is proven because the dancers, both women and men, must follow the rules and regulations in performing this traditional dance. The dance is mutually agreed upon.

Abstract

Halal certification is defined as the recognition of the halalness of a product issued by BPJPH based on a written fatwa issued by the Indonesian Ulema Council. Certification is carried out by conducting a series of examinations carried out by competent auditors in their fields to then determine its halal status. If the halal requirements are met, the producer can get a certificate for its product. This halal certificate is then used by the producer as a requirement to be able to include a halal label and halal registration number on the product packaging. This halal label is usually used by business actors in order to fulfill their obligations to provide information to consumers regarding the halalness of their products. This article discusses the Community Service Program of KKNT IAIN Sorong Students in Makbalim Village, Mayamuk District, Southwest Papua. By holding a halal certification seminar, the aim is to provide an understanding of the importance of Halal Certification and Halal Legalization in improving product quality and consumer trust and inviting MSME actors to develop their products through halal certification. The focus of this service is on making halal certification, the requirements for making halal certification, and making NIB. Data collection involves participant observation of MSME actors, interviews with MSME participants, MSME leaders and analysis related to the halal registration and certification process. The writing method in this service article is carried out using qualitative methods and descriptive approaches. From the results of direct field visits, we found that MSME actors in Makbalim Village before attending the halal certification seminar, many did not understand the importance of the halal certification process. Therefore, we conducted socialization to MSME actors in Makbalim Village regarding the importance of licensing or labeling on a product in order to develop in the future.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Sorong Branch, which still uses a manual system for its sales system. The purpose of this research is to find out how the ship ticket sales accounting system is running at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Sorong Branch. The analysis technique used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis. And data collection uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. Sales system at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Sorong Branch has cash payments, payments can be made in cash or via online bank transfer for boat ticket sales. Abstract

Teachers have both possibilities and problems as a result of the rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, especially in rural regions where internet literacy is still low. The goal of this community service project, SMART-AI: Strengthening Media Advancement and Resourceful Teaching with Artificial Intelligence, was to improve the ability of SMAN 1 Sirenja instructors to create instructional media that incorporates AI. The program's goal was to improve instructors' confidence, understanding, and proficiency using AI technologies like Magic School AI and Canva AI. Pretest and posttest questionnaires were used as part of a quantitative method to evaluate improvements in teacher competency. SPSS was used for the analysis of data from 25 individuals. Participants' posttest scores significantly improved, according to the results, demonstrating a greater grasp of AI-assisted media creation. Additionally, educators expressed increased enthusiasm and a move toward more creative, student-centered teaching methods. Notwithstanding obstacles including uneven internet connection and disparities in digital skills, the initiative was able to accomplish its goals. In summary, SMART-AI showed the value of consistent AI integration in teacher professional development and made a significant contribution to the preparation of educators for the future.

Abstract

This study explores the adaptive behavior of the people of Pekalongan in addressing the increasing waste problem within their urban environment. The research aims to investigate the level of public awareness and readiness to manage waste sustainably. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study employed observations, interviews, and document analysis as data collection techniques. Results reveal a significant gap between awareness and action. While many residents understand the environmental and health impacts of unmanaged waste and express support for waste management initiatives, actual practices such as littering and burning waste remain prevalent. Infrastructure inadequacies and lack of consistent government enforcement contribute to this gap. Community organizations and environmental NGOs have initiated efforts like waste banks and door-to-door education, yet their reach remains limited. The study concludes that an integrated, collaborative approach involving the government, civil society, and local communities is essential to build a sustainable and participatory waste management system rooted in local values. This research contributes to the development of strategies that empower communities as active agents of environmental change.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how the Project Based Learning (PJBL) learning model is implemented to strengthen the character of the Pancasila student profile of class IV students collection tencningques using interviews, observation and documentation. The population in this study were students in class IVA MI Quba, Sorong City, totaling 21 students. The research results obtained show that the application of the Project Based Learning model can strengthen the character profil of Pancasila students in creating project where studentare more creative in creating their own works by managing waste and turning it into unique items. Based on the result of observations, each student has an average creative level that is able to create something unique that can be reused. This proves that the Project Based Learning model can help students strengthen their character by creating a project that can be used or reused

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran KESRA Kabupaten Raja Ampat dalam menjaga keharmonisan, penulis menjelaskan apasaja program yang dilaksanakan untuk menunjang suksesnya keharmonisan umat beragama, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengamatan lapangan (observasi). Hasil dari artikel ini penulis membahas terkait konsep keharmonisan dalam beragama agar tercipta kurukunan antar umat, adanya kualitas kerja pegawai sebagai penunjang dalam keharmonisan umat beragama, hubungan kerjasama antar lembaga agar masyarakat dan instansi saling memahami dan menjalin hubungan yang baik, adanya program kerja yang sangat membantu semua pihak tanpa diskriminasi seperti program kerja yang tiap tahun diadakan adalah Safari Ramadhan dan Safari Natal sehingga tidak ada kecemburuan yang terjadi sehingga tetap menjaga keharmonisan umat beragam dikabupaten raja ampat.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the quality of public services in the Makbalim sub-district office, Mayamuk district. At the same time, this research can also provide benefits as a solution that can improve the quality of public services. The type of research used is qualitative research. The data source used is secondary data. The number of informants was 4 people. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques. The results of this research indicate that the quality of public services at the Makbalim Electric Mayamuk sub-district office is of poor quality when viewed from several indicators of the main dimensions of the quality of public services according to Parasuraman (2012): only in the physical appearance (tangible) dimension such as office facilities which are still lacking. adequate.

Abstract

Sistem Jaminan Sosial Nasional (SJSN) yang didalamnya terdapat jaminan kesehatan nasional (JKN) merupakan bentuk komitmen pemerintah terhadap pelaksanaan jaminan kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. BUMN yang ditugaskan khusus oleh pemerintah untuk menyelenggarakan jaminan pemeliharaan kesehatan tersebut adalah BPJS Kesehatan. Apabila pelayanan kesehatan yang diberikan baik maka akan semakin banyak peserta BPJS Kesehatan yang memanfaatkan pelayanan kesehatan tersebut, namun dapat terjadi sebaliknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan pelayanan BPJS Kesehatan di Indonesia. Selanjutnya dilakukan penapisan terhadap judul dan abstrak dengan Pemanfaatan pelayanan BPJS Kesehatan dapat diasumsikan cukup memadai. Namun diperlukan beberapa peningkatakan pelayanan agar tercapai peningkatan kepuasan masyarakat serta peningkatan pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan.
