Abstract

A new paradigm has emerged in the world of work amidst the widespread of the COVID-19 pandemic. One concept that has garnered attention is the "Flexible Working Arrangement." This flexible approach to work has become crucial as the pandemic has forced many companies and employees to adapt to uncertain and ever-changing circumstances. In facing these challenges, flexibility in carrying out work activities has become increasingly important. Flexible Working Arrangement provides an effective solution to overcome the obstacles arising from social restrictions and remote work. FWA has not been fully implemented by ASN, even though Presidential Decree 21 of 2023 has been issued, as a form of legal certainty for the flexible policy and the success of the WFH work system during Covid-19. By leveraging technology and digital communication, workers can remain productive without being physically present in the office. This approach enables individuals to work from home, manage a more flexible work schedule, and utilize their time more efficiently. In this paragraph, we will further discuss the benefits and implications of Flexible Working Arrangement in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The prevalence of smokers in Indonesia is more than 25% of the total population. Cigarette smoke contains numerous free radicals that trigger the formation and increase of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) within the body, leading to inflammation and cytokine production. Green tea contains catechins known for their potent antioxidant properties. This study aims to assess the levels of Interleukin 6 and Interleukin 10 in rats exposed to cigarette smoke. The research method used was the post-test only control group design, involving 24 male Wistar rats divided into 4 groups: Normal group (N), Control - (Cigarette Smoke), Control + (Cigarette Smoke + 1.44 mg/day Vitamin E), P. (Cigarette Smoke + 3.6 ml Green Tea Infusion). Interleukin 6 and Interleukin 10 levels were measured after 14 days of treatment. Data were analyzed using One Way Anova. The mean IL-6 level in the Control (-) group was the highest (141.75±6.24 pg/ml), while the Sham group had the lowest (73.58 ± 4.57 pg/ml) IL-6 level. One Way Anova results showed a p-value of <0.001 for both IL-6 and IL-10 levels, indicating a significant difference among the four groups. Post Hoc LSD test results indicated that the IL-6 levels in the K(+) group were relatively similar to the IL-6 levels in the P group (p=0.172). Post Hoc LSD test results for IL-10 levels between the two groups were all significant, with a p-value of <0.001. The administration of green tea infusion was shown to affect the Interleukin 6 levels, while green tea infusion did not have a significant impact on Interleukin 10 levels in white rats exposed to cigarette smoke.

Abstract

The growth of the manufacturing sector in Indonesia has slowed down due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, which has led to a decrease in the production volume of companies. This impact needs to be reassessed by each company, and one way to address it is by continuously improving company productivity. PT X is one of the companies in the manufacturing sector that has a program to continuously enhance its productivity, with its production result being pianos. This study focuses on the performance of operators in a specific production area that has consistently not met the company's productivity target over a period. The objective is to determine the effectiveness of the operators in that area using the Overall Labor Effectiveness (OLE) method. Subsequently, the obtained OLE results will be analyzed using the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method, and improvement proposals will be provided, supported by the House of Quality (HOQ) method and previous literature. The research results indicate issues in one of the OLE variables, namely the performance ratio. Root cause analysis was conducted to identify the underlying issues, assisted by brainstorming tools, the 5-why method, and a fishbone diagram. This analysis revealed three main problems. Furthermore, two design proposals were formulated using the HOQ framework, and an additional proposal was based on previous research findings.

BPN Number 4 of 1998 jo. KMNA/Ka.BPN Number 6 of 1998 concerning Guidelines for Determining income in the Granting of State Land Rights. Settlement of disputes over the ownership of arable land in Bogor Regency can be carried out through litigation or outside of litigation and in the case of arable land disputes in Bogor it can be resolved through peace through mediation. Abstract

The intensive care system have a duty to help patients in healing process and not to delay patient’s death. Therefore many scoring methods was developed to predict the outcome of care and mortality rate in the ICU. One of those methods is APACHE II that scores 12 physiological variables and pre-existing conditions in the patients. This research was done to find the correlation between APACHE II score and mortality rate of PKU Gamping hospital ICU patients. The data used medical records for 61 non-operative patients from June-December 2019. This research found that 37 (60.6%) died and 24 (39.4%) lived after treatment. The average APACHE II score was 21.28 with the lowest score of 3 and the highest score of 43, after the data gathering a correlation test was conducted using Spearman-correlation test. In the data analysis p value of  0.000 (p<0.05) and correlation coefficient of .698 was found. there was a significant correlation between the APACHE II score and the mortality rate of the PKU Gamping hospital ICU patients, where with higher number of score there was higher number of patient’s death.
