Abstract

One of the alternatives to revive the religious manuscript researcher and scholar passion is by providing an easy online reference about religious manuscript. Some manuscript researcher of ex-Office of Religious Research and Development Ministry of Religious Affairs have started to make and maintain an online repository about religious manuscripts since 2019. The plentiful manuscript data, which is resulted from research, contain philological description aspect and digital photo file needs to be followed up more than just a research report or catalogue. It also needs to be easily accessible by other scholar and researcher in an open access repository. This online repository, managed by the researcher team, contain almost 450 religious manuscripts from Madura. The other data that will be uploaded are Islamic manuscript found in Bali, manuscript by K.H. Ahmad Rifa’i Kalisalak, Syaikh Mahfudz Termas, and also from K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari. Using descriptive qualitative method, this paper aims to answer and introduce to three aspects, namely: a) the importance of providing an open access of religious manuscript using online repository; b) the content and general description of religious manuscript online repository; and c) the guidelines on how to access and download the manuscript from online repository.

Abstract

The role of the government as a public servant has been enshrined in Undang-Undang Nomor 5 Tahun 2014 Tentang Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) in chapter 10, which states that ASN function as public servants. The essence of the sound of this chapter interprets the state civil apparatus as a position occupied to carry out duties and functions as a public service whose benefits can be felt directly by the community. The relationship obtained from the concept of new public management, which adopts the role of private sector services into Government Agencies with improving the quality of public services, describes a core problem that is essential to be discussed in the current era of uncertainty. This paper aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of New Public Management in all Government Agencies by considering the characteristics of each Government Agency at the Central and Regional levels to increase Bureaucratic Reforms oriented to the Public Service sector. This study uses a qualitative approach through descriptive analysis methods based on literature studies obtained and then used as material for analysis in designing the implementation of new public management in improving bureaucratic reform in the public service sector. The results of this study show that there are six aspects of implementing new public management to improve public service reform, including making service contracts, developing customer satisfaction surveys, optimizing the implementation of E-government in public service management, implementing service quality management systems, performance-based remuneration systems, and establish public-private partnerships.

Abstract

People around the world are currently carrying out booster vaccinations in the midst of the outbreak of the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus. In Indonesia, vaccine booster activities have been carried out since January 12, 2022. The Indonesian government makes vaccines free and encourages the public to immediately carry out vaccine booster. Vaccine booster information and campaigns also appear on social media. Twitter as one of the social media that is widely used in Indonesia is also enlivened with discussions about vaccine boosters. The objective of this research is to see how the vaccine booster issue is discussed on Twitter. By using the concept of Social Media Analytics (SMA), this study explores tweet data and analyzes it based on the hashtags that appear, the accounts that post a lot and get re-tweets, and the accounts that are mentioned the most (mentioned) in the discussion of the vaccine booster issue. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative. Data from Twitter will be collected from February to March 2022. Data will be collected using NVivo Plus 12 software. The result expected to provide social media analysis related to “Booster Vaccine” discourse that occurred in twitter.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of economic growth, the index of economic freedom, and the population on political stability. Political stability is one of the factors that can determine the direction of development and economic growth towards the creation of prosperity. Politically stable countries can carry out better economic development. This research contributes to look at the factors that can support political stability in Southeast Asian countries. This study uses secondary data originating from the World Governance Indicator, World Bank Development Indicator and Heritage Foundation in the 2011-2020 period. This study was conducted in Southeast Asian countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam. The research method used is panel data regression. The results show that GDP Per capita and economic freedom index is a significant effect to political stability. On the other side, population growth has not significant impact to political stability. This proves that every country that has good political stability is supported by stable guaranteed economic freedom, and a controlled GDP per capita.

Abstract

The covid pandemic period that occurred until the end of 2021 changed many aspects of human life. There was a global psychological shock and had to change habits suddenly into polemics. Changing habits is not an easy thing, it requires great effort to want to follow the rules of new normal life. The 19th pandemic period became a rationalization of the economic situation of a group of people who felt they had the right to receive social assistance from the government. This was because a preconceived mental formation was a mental formation formed by the soul asking for material deficiency. The government provides social assistance funds in dealing with the economy in Indonesia with the intention of providing assistance to help people affected by the pandemic. Many companies are laying off workers on a large scale which has led to increased unemployment. The state of global conflict in all aspects, especially the economic aspect, which causes economic contraction, but with social assistance, a beggar mentality is even triggered. The assistance funds provided are not to open a business as a substitute for a profession because they are unemployed due to being affected by the pandemic by becoming entrepreneurs. hope that every month they will receive aid funds from the government. There is also a mistargeting of the distribution of social assistance funds and many receive it even though it is not their right to receive social assistance funds.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit almost the entire world, including Indonesia, has affected all aspects of life, one of which is public services. The government has issued a policy for the whole community so that every activity is carried out online or online to prevent the spread of COVID-19 cases. All parties, especially the government, must innovate to encourage more effective and efficient public services by keeping up with the times and advancing technology. This prompted the Bekasi City Disdukcapil to create an application-based innovation called e-OPEN. This study discusses how to implement the implementation of e-Open in population services in Bekasi City. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection is done by observation and literature study. Based on the research results, the e-Open application belonging to the Bekasi City Disdukcapil is considered quite effective and easily accepted by the public. This application allows busy people to manage and access their population data anytime and anywhere easily. Through the Halo Pamor menu, people with limitations in using the application also feel helped by the presence of the prestige task force.

Abstract

Cases of inequality in the social environment are still frequently encountered, especially for people with disabilities. The stigma against people with disabilities has led to the emergence of various assumptions stating that people with disabilities are not capable of carrying out tasks on an equal basis with normal people. Disability groups often experience discrimination in society and are marginalized in development. There is one village that is unique, this village is in Bengkala Village, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province. This village is known for having a population of residents who have had limited speech and hearing since birth. It is said that this phenomenon is caused by local endogamous marriage practices that have persisted from generation to generation in a relatively small population. This group is able to develop through social and cultural life that has been preserved from generation to generation based on uniqueness and diversity by forming a source of creative activity through "Sekaa Janger Kolok". The aim of this research is to examine efforts for social inclusion of disabled people in Bengkala Village through Sekaa Janger Kolok. The research boundary is Bengkala Village, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province, Indonesia. With a descriptive qualitative research method using data collection through primary data through interviews with Village Heads, Sekaa Chairmen, Teachers as well as secondary data from literature searches. The concepts used are rights for people with disabilities, social inclusion, social welfare. As for the findings from this research, people with disabilities were involved and empowered with the formation of Sekaa Janger Kolok and were involved in tourist villages.
