Abstract

In the rapidly evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats, the need for robust defenses against phishing attacks has become paramount. This study explores the efficacy of malware detection in phishing email attacks using dynamic analysis on the Letsdefend.io platform. Leveraging the insights provided by the Deloitte Center for Controllership regarding the escalating frequency of cyber adversaries targeting organizational data, this research investigates the effectiveness of the Letsdefend.io platform, particularly utilizing the SOC 146 rule, in identifying and mitigating phishing threats. Through a comprehensive analysis process encompassing dynamic malware analysis techniques, such as those employed by VirusTotal and URLHaus, alongside detailed examination of suspicious email attachments using the Mailbox feature, this study aims to provide insights into the evolving tactics of phishing attackers, specifically those utilizing Excel 4.0 Macros. The research methodology involves collecting malware samples for analysis, configuring sandbox environments with tools like Process Monitor and Regshot, and utilizing sophisticated analysis tools like ProcDot to visualize malware behavior. Additionally, the study examines the effectiveness of the Letsdefend.io platform in detecting phishing URLs and malicious domains reported by AnyRun and URLHaus databases. The findings reveal promising results in the detection and identification of phishing threats, shedding light on the potential of dynamic analysis methods in bolstering cybersecurity defenses against evolving phishing techniques. This research contributes to the ongoing efforts to enhance cybersecurity measures and protect organizational assets from the pervasive threat of phishing attacks.

Abstract

Flood hazard modeling in watersheds is an important step in natural disaster risk mitigation, especially in vulnerable areas such as Ambon City. This research focused on the Wai Batu Gantung, Wai Batu Gajah, Wai Tomu, Wai Batu Merah, and Wai Ruhu watersheds, using JRC Global Surface Water Mapping Layers data, NASA SRTM Digital Elevation 30 m data, and USGS Landsat 8 Level 2, Collection 2, Tier 1 data analyzed on the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform. Prediction of built-up land in flood-prone areas was conducted by utilizing flood history analysis, hydrological modeling, and flood zone mapping. The results show that flood hazard modeling provides a better understanding of flood risk, assists in the development of safer land use planning, and increases public awareness of flood risk in Ambon City. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to flood risk management and sustainable regional development in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to identify landslide-prone areas in Nusaniwe District using the Slope Morphology Method (SMORPH), which is based on slope and slope shape analysis. The research method uses the Slope Morphology Method (SMORPH) to assess landslide potential in Nusaniwe District. The analysis was carried out by mapping the slope gradient and slope shape in the area to determine areas at high risk of landslides. Topographic and geological data were collected and analyzed to identify factors that contribute to landslide risk. The results of the analysis show that  complex geological and topographic conditions in Nusaniwe District increase the risk of landslides. Areas with high slope gradients and steep slope shapes are identified as the most landslide-prone areas. This assessment revealed a significant relationship between slope gradient, slope shape, and landslide potential in the area. The conclusion is that the analysis of slope and slope shape using the Slope Morphology Method (SMORPH) is effective in identifying landslide-prone areas in Nusaniwe District. To reduce landslide risk, interdisciplinary collaboration, community education, and development of effective mitigation strategies are needed. These findings provide a basis for planning and implementing landslide prevention measures in areas with similar conditions. Keywords: Landslide, Nusaniwe, Slope Morphology

Abstract

This study aims to analyze land surface temperature changes on Ambon Island using Landsat 8 imagery data and Google Earth Engine. The research method involves the use of Ambon Island boundary data from the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) as well as Landsat 8 Collection 2 Tier 1 and Real-Time satellite image data that have been calibrated to reflect the reflectance of the Earth's surface to the atmosphere. The analysis steps include temperature conversion from Kelvin to Celsius, land surface temperature classification, and data export to Arc GIS software. The results showed an increase in land surface temperature associated with urban development in Ambon City, highlighting the importance of sustainable urban planning and good resource management to mitigate the negative impacts of land surface temperature increase and support adaptation to climate change. Abstract

This paper aims at comparing the suitability of three machine learning models: LightGBM, CatBoost, and Logistic Regression, to lower misdiagnosis rates for psychiatric disorders. Misdiagnosis in mental health may mean improper treatment and, hence, poor outcomes for patients. Our research aims to determine the most accurate predictive model for mental health condition diagnosis that will lead to improved clinical outcomes. We trained and tested these models on an EEG dataset with patient records that have psychiatric diagnoses labeled. For all the models, evaluation and comparison are made using key performance metrics such as Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F1-Score. Through the use of these methods, it was shown that LightGBM performed better than CatBoost and Logistic Regression, having achieved higher accuracy and F1 scores, indicating more power to make a difference among different psychiatric disorders. These results suggest that machine learning techniques, especially LightGBM, can greatly increase diagnostic accuracy and reduce misdiagnosis in psychiatric contextual systems. Abstract

The very rapid development of information technology has made websites an inseparable part of an educational institution as well as services for the academic community, lecturers, students and education staff. One of the learning applications used for continuity of learning is E-Assignment. E-Assignment is a learning media application that functions to collect and assess student assignments online. The problem that occurs is that there are still students who are not satisfied with using the E-Assignment application. The aim of this research is to analyze and measure the quality of E-Assignment in the lecture process among Metamedia University students. The method used to measure the quality of the E-Assignment website is WebQual 4.0. This research was carried out by utilizing research instruments based on three groups of WebQual 4.0 indicators and then distributing them to students of the Information Systems study program. WebQual 4.0 is an instrument that assesses the quality of a website from the end user's perspective. The tools and applications used to test the relationship between variables from WebQual 4.0 and user satisfaction are SPSS 20 and Matlab. The research results show that the overall score for the WebQual 4.0 indicator obtained is 69% in the Good category, so that users assess that the E-Assignment application is quality as a web learning medium in higher education. Abstract

Coconut wastewater is the by-product of the coconut milk store. It contains BOD of 9.908,41 mg/L and COD of 38.264,73 mg/L. It can pollute when it is discharged into received water directly. Pollution can prevented by wastewater treatment using phytoremediation method and wastewater reuse for hydroponic crops. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the hydroponic system in reducing BOD and COD concentration of coconut wastewater, the effect of the reuse coconut wastewater on crop growth, and to analyze the suitability of coconut wastewater with hydroponic’s standard nutrients. The crop selected in this study was Kangkong (Ipomoea reptans Poir) with a vertical hydroponic system. The retention time was determined based on the Day After Planting (DAP). The DAP ranged in 0 day, 7 days, and 14 days. The crop parameters observed in this study are height, the number of leaves, and gross weight, compared to the controlled crops that use hydroponic’s standard nutrients. The highest reduction of BOD (79,22%) and COD (82,76%) occurs on DAP of 7 days. Crop growth increased as BOD and COD decreased. Initial pollution concentration caused stunted growth, so that the measurement results of phytoremediation crops were below the controlled crops. Coconut wastewater is within the range of standard hydroponic nutrients with 6,16-7,62 pH value, 1.220-1.570 ppm TDS, 2.470-3.180 μS/cm EC, and 25-26oC temperature

Abstract

Pengenalan bahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini merupakan hal yang sangat penting karena usia dini merupakan periode emas bagi anak untuk belajar mengenai bahasa dan memiliki dampak jangka panjang terhadap kemampuan berbahasa mereka. mempelajari bahasa Inggris bagi anak usia dini harus memiliki banyak media agar tidak membosankan. Salah satu tempat belajar bahasa Inggris di Kabupaten Fakfak yaitu Arhab Learning Center (ALC) yang melakukan proses pembelajaran bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan alat-alat peraga namun belum menggunakan teknologi seperti aplikasi pada gadget dalam proses pembelajarannya dimana penggunaan gadget telah merevolusi cara manusia berinteraksi, belajar, dan menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode waterfall digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan tahapan (1) Analisis kebutuhan, (2) Desain aplikasi, (3) Implementasi aplikasi, (4) Pengujian aplikasi, dan (5) Perawatan aplikasi. Dalam proses pengambilan data, peneliti melakukan wawancara dengan pemilik ALC, studi literatur, dan validasi aplikasi. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan MIT App Inventor yang merupakan salah satu platform web open source yang dikelola oleh Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dalam aplikasi yang dibuat terdapat 5 (lima) pilihan pembelajaran yang terdiri dari (1) Pengenalan Warna, (2) Pengenalan nama-nama buah, (3) Pengenalan nama-nama hewan, (4) Pengenalan Angka, dan (5) Pengenalan huruf bagi anak-anak usia dini. aplikasi ini menampilkan pilihan gambar interaktif yang memudahkan anak usia dini dalam penggunaanya. Diharapkan aplikasi yang telah dibuat berguna bagi pihak ALC dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Dalam budidaya ikan, waktu pemberian pakan pada ikan sangatlah penting. Ikan membutuhkan pemberian pakan yang teratur dan terus menerus. Pakan merupakan salah satu elemen yang membantu pertumbuhan ikan, dan pemberian pakan merupakan dasar dalam budidaya ikan. Petani sering kali harus melakukan banyak tugas sekaligus, sehingga dapat menyebabkan kesalahan dalam pemberian pakan pada ikan. Oleh karena itu, kami melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem desain pemberian pakan cerdas untuk kolam ikan air tawar yang menggunakan Internet of Things (IoT) untuk memantau jadwal pemberian pakan dan kualitas air menggunakan aplikasi ponsel pintar. Sistem menggunakan ESP8266 sebagai mikrokontroler utama dan berbagai sensor yaitu ultrasonik HCSR04 untuk mendeteksi sisa umpan pada wadah umpan, sensor RTC ds3231 untuk mengatur timing umpan, wadah umpan ikan Motor servo untuk membuka dan menutup tutupnya, menggunakan sensor DS18B20 sebagai air detektor kualitas. Informasi yang diperoleh dari sensor ini dikirim ke aplikasi Blynk untuk pemantauan secara real-time

Abstract

Air adalah sumber daya yang sangat vital untuk kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama dalam aktivitas rumah tangga. Penggunaan air di rumah tangga sering kali digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan seperti memasak, mencuci, mandi, dan aktivitas lainnya. Namun, distribusi air di rumah tangga saat ini masih mengandalkan meteran air konvensional, yang hanya memberikan informasi tentang volume penggunaan air tanpa menyajikan data biaya penggunaan secara rinci dan real-time. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem pemantauan meteran air berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) pada rumah tangga. Sistem ini menggunakan ESP8266 sebagai mikrokontroler dan modul WiFi, sensor water flow, serta solenoid valve untuk mengukur debit air dan menghitung biaya penggunaan air secara real-time serta otomatis melalui aplikasi Blynk. Hal ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk lebih mudah memonitor dan mengontrol penggunaan air. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan prinsip 5W+1H untuk mengumpulkan informasi dan data terkait. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode prototipe untuk pengembangan perangkat keras dan lunak sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pemantauan meteran air ini membantu meningkatkan efisiensi pengguna dalam memantau dan mengendalikan penggunaan air secara real-time
